Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 4558 - Ancestral Graves

The two of them entered an incredibly vast space after passing through the stone door. There was a dense, ancient presence in the space beyond the door.

It looked rather hazy far ahead; Tianming wasn't able to make out everything, but what he did manage to see shocked the both of them. There was a land of gray and brown ahead of them. On that land stood many massive tombstones that were hundreds of thousands of meters in height. There were so many of them lined up together that Tianming couldn't see the end even when he tried. Together, they formed the Flameyellow Cemetery.

The very name of the place was inscribed on the first tombstone in front of them. Tianming and Wudi exchanged glances and proceeded deeper in without saying a word. Soon, they discovered something surprising.

"There's some text on the tombstones. They are a record of the cosmic arts of the flameyellow divinities!" Tianming was quite shaken by it.

They saw far too many tombstones, all of which had a unique cosmic art of the flameyellow divinities. In fact, they started off from simpler forms at the godshaker class, void class, and all the way to the Grand Dao class!

Tianming even saw on one of the tombstones that was taller than half a million meters inscribed with a top-tier Grand-Dao-class cosmic art that was superior to the Starfall Pantheon's Ninefirm Starfall Exorcism.

This level of cosmic art was something that even the imperatores of the Eightpart Pantheons hadn't been able to master. For instance, Imperator Yan of the Starfall Pantheon had only mastered seventy percent of Ninefirm Starfall Exorcism and wasn't able to unleash its full power either. Perhaps nobody in the history of the Starfall Pantheon had successfully mastered it entirely. Only after Tianming managed this feat was this cosmic art's full power able to be displayed in the universe.

"Tianming, look here! It's also a top Grand-Dao-class one! Here too!" came Wudi's excited voice.

Tianming looked around and discovered nine different cosmic arts of the top Grand Dao class. The Imperator's Mural that he once mastered was the prerequisite for those moves. "So this is the true wealth of the legacy left behind by the Flameyellow..."

Tianming counted hundreds of thousands of such tombstones, each one containing a cosmic art that was suited to flameyellow divinities, far more than the cosmic arts from the Eightpart Pantheons. They would be able to unleash at least 1.3 times more power than usual!

Once the two of them entered the cemetery, the whole place looked as if it had been renewed. The text on the massive, heavy and dormant tombstones pulsed with a certain energy.

Tianming could feel a certain sense of acceptance deep in his bloodline. This was the mark of the Flameyellow. Each tombstone contained the crystallized essence of generations of seniors who had forged and ruled the entire universe.

They continued deeper to reach the center of the cemetery after being awed by the sheer number of cosmic arts. As they approached the center, the persistent gray fog thinned more and more. Eventually, they reached the centermost point. Almost immediately, the surroundings darkened. Then, a heavy pressure pushed down on them from all directions.

Tianming looked ahead and saw a sphere-shaped tombstone at the very center of the cemetery, approximately hundreds of thousands of meters in diameter. It appeared bound by chains of red and gold formed from red-gold runes. The sphere seemed to be sealed.

Yet, merely by looking at it, Tianming's mind was drawn into it! He felt as if his body had breached through the universe and was being sucked to the center of all existence. Within the spherical tombstone, he could see many mysterious characters that obscured the true nature of what lay within.

There was a good chance that this was a cosmic art, however, one far stronger than one of the Grand Dao class. Tianming could tell for sure from the presence that the tombstone radiated.

The both of them approached the sphere more and more, bearing the weight of the force. That pressure caused the Flameyellow Bloodline within them to boil and circulate wildly. The closer they were to the sphere, the faster their hearts beat.

They felt as if they were witnessing the glorious and mighty display of power from their forebears as they forged the universe into their dominion. Every single generation of flameyellow ancestors sacrificed quite a lot for the generation that came after. It was a spirit of fearless sacrifice for the sake of progress. Tianming and Wudi teared up from merely witnessing it.

"So this is what the true spirit of the Flameyellow is like!" Wudi muttered.

The source of all that presence was the spherical tombstone before them. It resonated with the two of them in whom the Flameyellow Bloodline flowed.

"It's too bad that the cosmic art inside isn't unsealed yet. What are the conditions to unseal it? What do I need to do?" Tianming was quite interested in the cosmic art.

Wudi gave it some thought and said, "I believe it won't be long before it is unsealed."

They exchanged looks and nodded before turning back. The whole time they were near the sphere, they felt rather excited and impulsive. It was only after they distanced themselves from it that they calmed down.

Wudi looked around at all the other tombstones excitedly. "Wow, this has got to be the biggest boon we received after restoring the Sun to the imperial class. How is it, Tianming? Shall we train directly in this place?"

Tianming shook his head at the sight of his godfather's excitement. "You can stay here if you want. Meanwhile, I need to get the Sun to swallow up the other imperial-class stars of the Eightpart Pantheons. Not to mention, I'm close to another breakthrough."

"Holy crap!" Wudi's eyes immediately widened. "What kind of monster are you?! I worked so hard to reach parity with you, and yet you're going to leave me behind again! Didn't you give those dazzling radiances to your wives?"

Tianming laughed. "Maybe that's just a sign of my amazing talent. Don't envy me too much."

He had resisted the Heavenly Dao with the support of countless flameyellow descendants. All that omnisentient power not only helped him to rise back to his peak, it also caused his imperial order to grow at a rate like never before.

"I might be able to break through twice in a row. Maybe I'll even become a primocosmic god right away!"
