Chapter 4394 - Seeing Off Friends
Chapter 4394 - Seeing Off Friends
“No need to say any more!”
Imperator Mo suddenly sneered at Imperator Yin, he said, “How could the dignified Imperator Yin turn into a bleeding-heart saint overnight? You’ve betrayed the Heavenly Dao, betrayed the Eightpart Pantheons, and chosen to kneel and fawn over Flameyellow once again. Oh, right... this should be your own personal idiocy, which means you’ve also betrayed the devas.”
Imperator Yin shook his head and said, “No need to make unfounded accusations. My race and I have never betrayed the Heavenly Dao. And this operation of your three pantheons was never sanctioned by the whole Eightpart Pantheons, so don’t act as if you represent everyone. There are still hostages in the enemy’s hands. You may ignore the lives of your own people, but others don’t necessarily have to make the same choice.”
It was fine when the hostages and the vanguard army weren’t mentioned, but the three imperatores were ready to explode with rage once it came up!
They had paid everything for the sake of success, yet now it had all come to nothing. Meanwhile, the armies were still locked in fierce battle. Who knew how great the final losses would be?
All three of their races had already wagered their very lives!
Yet it was the devas, which had stood aside at first, that had now forced them into a dead end.
“Imperator Yin, just you wait. The Heavenly Dao will punish you!” Imperator Mo understood that arguing with him would only waste time. He exchanged a glance with his two fellow imperatores, and the three of them exploded into action simultaneously, charging once more at Tianming and Imperator Yin.
“Stubborn fools.” Imperator Yin grabbed Tianming and rushed straight into the depths of the Flameyellow Guard Formation. Behind them, flames and flameyellow fiends rushed in to block the imperatores.
“Take your time chasing. Waste your time until your clansmen all die on my Flameyellow Imperial Star! We’ll count how many cosmic gods you have left to form a pantheon.” Tianming was riding on the high now, cackling.
Tianming’s laughter and the poor situation stabbed into the hearts of the three imperatores like blades, piercing them a thousand times.
Imperator Yin’s words kept echoing in their ears too, sparking a new cycle of rage each time.
What made it worse was that they had power with nowhere to use it. Imperator Yin was already the strongest individual in the entire universe. One could imagine the difficulty of killing Tianming, that slippery loach, when under his protection.
This kind of pent-up rage was something ordinary people could never endure.
When they looked at the battlefield, the billion beast waves were in chaos as the unprotected ashuras was being charged down by flameyellow cavalry. The Virtue and the Sin Pantheons were each fighting their own battles. Wails filled the entire field!
The imperatores’ people trusted them utterly, charging into battle to cover them, yet their failure now was a betrayal of their clansmen. All it took for their entire desperate plan to be destroyed was the Order Relic Universal Body and Imperator Yin.
“Three of you, stop working so hard. I’m a peace lover. Obediently withdraw your troops now and this will all be over. From now on, we’ll mind our own turf. I won’t go to the Upper Star Ruin, and you won’t trespass into the Primordial Sands.”
“You can’t catch me, you can’t kill me, and your people are wailing so badly. Go home to your wives, kids, warm beds. How wonderful. Why suffer here?”
Tianming was completely relaxed. His laughter sounded ordinary, yet it was enough to infuriate the three pantheons to death.
The three imperatores were shrouded in dense black-and-white mist, but their internal organs were probably twisting with rage.
“Reporting to the imperatores: outside, there is a deva army about eight billion strong...” When this news reached their ears, the three imperatores were on the verge of vomiting blood.
The devas had sat this out, claiming internal strife, but now this Imperator Yin had silently brought over eight billion troops. Anyone who didn’t know better would think he had come to support the three pantheons!
Those eight billion devas didn’t even need to fight. Their mere presence was enough to tell the three imperatores that today they were complete clowns who could accomplish nothing.
“Good! Good! Good!” Imperator Ming spat, almost biting through his tongue.
It was easy to withdraw, but admitting defeat was unbearably hard.
Who could have known that the Ashuran Ancestral Curse would fail, or that Imperator Yin would make such an unbelievable choice? To be honest, all of their fury was now focused on Imperator Yin.
“The wonderians must step in! The Eightpart Pantheons must purge their ranks! Traitors must suffer the Heavenly Dao’s punishment! If you wish to destroy Flameyellow, you must first slaughter its lackeys!” Imperator Yinne snarled.
These words were actually admitting that they had abandoned the pursuit. Continuing served no purpose but to embarrass themselves and cost more men.
Imperatores Yinne and Ming both waited for Imperator Mo’s decision.
Imperator Mo halted, staring at the two figures deep within the raging flames in the distance.
“Withdraw.” That simple word seemed to cost him unbearable pain.
Hearing this, Tianming laughed. “Let the battle stop! Open the gates, and see off our friends!”
