Chapter 4245 - Dongshen Domain Incident

Though the dazzling radiance was smaller than expected, Tianming decided to use it right away. Having had experience, it went smoothly this time around. The Plundering Eye in his left hand turned into a silver vortex, absorbing the dazzling radiance into his body. The stream of red order spread throughout his body and seeped into the ten streams of order within.

"The first time was the most effective. Looks like I need much more dazzling radiance to be able to improve as quickly as I did." Tianming could feel that his growth wasn't as stable as the last time. "Even though cultivating in the realm of Chaos doesn't require order for energy control, I still have to take my time."

He still had a long path to walk, so he wouldn't do anything that would ruin his future prospects for temporary gains. Unlike some others who were reincarnations of much stronger beings, he couldn't afford to give in to the temptation of rapid growths in power and lose control of himself in the process.

Once he was done, he found Mu Qingqing looking at him quietly like always. Most of the time, she didn't move in the slightest. When she sensed that he was finished, she came over. "Are we going to the Chaos Star Ruin first or will you head back to Nullity to make a proper breakthrough?"

"My own power is the most important thing when it comes to securing my own destiny." As such, he would be going back to make the breakthrough.

"Okay." Mu Qingqing didn't say anything else. The two of them used the Zero Marker to return to Nullity. Then, Tianming entered the pathway between the realms to absorb nova source from the Realm of Order and convert it into cosmoforce, which would test his ability to control that energy with his orders. During the conversion process, his middlekin astrons were stimulated into multiplying in number. Soon, he went from four thousand to six thousand meters in height, much larger than when he was at the Primordial Sands. He was about the same size as Jiang Tianzhou and the rest.

"Soon, I should be able to fight maniverse starlords like them on even footing." In the Realm of Chaos, he would be able to fight even levels above his own. "I reached the tenth level of the Microcosmic stage this time around. In the two levels before I can advance towards the Heavencosmic stage, my middlekin astrons will solidify and get tougher without changing the size of my body."

He had broken through eight levels since coming to the Realm of Chaos, which was a much faster rate than before. This rate wouldn't remain the same, however, even with the help of dazzling radiance. "After breaking through twice, it feels like my orders are just barely able to sustain this amount of cosmoforce. I have to convert it back to chaotic power to decrease the stress it puts on my orders..."

Not needing to constantly control the energy within his body was making him feel rather out of practice, but there was no choice. He had to continue on as he was as long as he didn't return to the Realm of Order. After converting it back to much stabler chaotic power, he felt much better. There wasn't anything pressing happening in the Sun from what he could see through the pathway's entrance, so he returned to Nullity with Mu Qingqing. Just like before, she increased the size of her clone to match his size, which also made the clone stronger in the process.

"There's no need to go out of your way to match me," Tianming said.

"I have to be ready to receive you just in case," she said, looking down.

Tianming cleared his throat and changed the subject. "You went to Skyplunder Capital just now, right?"

"I did."

"What is the word going around after my proclamation to pay them back a hundredfold?"

"Are you asking what your parents think about the way you handled things?"

"More or less. Did I cause them any trouble?"

Mu Qingqing shook her head. "They won't feel that way because they trust you deeply. That's why they're willing to bear any brunt that comes their way."

"What kind of pressures are they usually under?"

"They're numerous and complicated. It'll take time to go through them properly, but I can start if you're interested." She had wanted to tell Tianming about the circumstances long ago, but she also knew that this knowledge would also come with increased responsibility for Tianming. So, she respected his wishes and only told him what he was ready to hear.

He knew that the seniors' expectations for him were for him to grow. Li Muyang and Li Tianzi must be bearing the real burden in Tianming's stead.

"Alright!" Mu Qingqing seemed rather excited to see Tianming showing some interest in Nullity's affairs. "For instance, there's an incident in the Dongshen Domain."

"Dongshen Domain?" The names were familiar as usual. His grandmother in the Realm of Chaos, Dongshen Yue, was also a sky plunderer. He also recalled that on the flipside of the Flameyellow Continent where the Abyssal Battlefield was, there was a place called the Dongshen Domain. "There's a place called the Dongshen Domain in the Inverse Battlefield too?"

"Your grandmother was the first one to reach there and she named it thus. I heard that your father and mother met there and fell in love, sealing their lives together." Mu Qingqing's mood improved at the thought of that ideal romance.

Tianming was still puzzled, however. The Abyssal Battlefield and the Inverse Battlefield... To think that the Dongshen Domain and Dongshen Yue, things that were completely unrelated in the Realm of Order, were actually causally related in the Realm of Chaos. This was far too mysterious! Back when Tianming was actually at the Dongshen Domain of the Abyssal Battlefield, he never would've imagined that he would encounter someone called Dongshen Yue in Ebonia later on and even learn about a different Dongshen Domain a few centuries later.

"Tell me more about the incident," Tianming said, putting the coincidence aside.

"Back then, an incredibly huge Chaos Star Ruin appeared in the Dongshen Domain. Nullity took it over and was about to build a few fortresses nearby. Originally, the members of the Mu Clan were put in charge of mining it, but one day, everyone from the fortresses suddenly vanished, more than a thousand cosmic gods of the Mu Clan gone just like that," Mu Qingqing said.
