Chapter 4243 - Great Grandfather's Kindness

Liu Xiaoyang would've never believed anyone if they told him that a single person was able to summon so many weird creatures to slaughter ten thousand cosmic gods. He never would've imagined Tianming to be capable of repaying any slight to him a hundred times over!

"Don't be fooled by his showboating!"

"Those ugly things will crumble with a single strike! They're just a scary mirage!"

The fighters from Violetblitz didn't immediately cave and grabbed their cosmic relics, banding together and readying themselves for the clash.

"Smash those illusions and kill everyone around that turtle! He'll be unable to protect even a single one of them!" Liu Xiaoyang roared before he rapidly retreated backwards.

"Kill!" The cosmic gods of Violetblitz let out a thundering war cry and charged towards Tianming. Before they made their move, however, the ghouls that Xi Xi had summoned began their descent. There were three hundred million of them against ten thousand cosmic gods; it took no time for them to be swallowed up! The sevenfold hell-ring didn't unleash any ghoul emperors, but ghoul kings were more than enough against denizens of Chaos, the strongest of whom were sixth-level heavencosmic gods. They would soon find out if the ghouls really were pushovers!

Even though the cosmic gods there were elites, they were tightly packed within the fortress. In almost an instant, the Violetblitz fighters were dispatched one after another by the ghouls that flooded into the fortress. Most of the ghouls didn't last that long, but they made up for that in numbers!

"Aaagh!" The ten thousand cosmic gods immediately crumbled from the oppressive wave fo ghouls, their bodies torn to shreds and being feasted on by the ghouls before they could turn into essence form, not leaving the slightest shred behind! It was an unthinkably horrible loss!

"What in the world is this?!" Liu Xiaoyang's eyes widened; he was surrounded by eight ghoul kings before he managed to retreat far away, all of them thousands of meters in height. With enough numbers, even a genius like Liu Xiaoyang would be in trouble!

"Save me! Save me!"

"Aaaah!"

Cries like those melted away any last bit of courage that Liu Xiaoyang had. He had encountered many foes in his lifetime, but none of them were like Tianming! "Li Tianming, you're shameless! Think about how old you are! Why are you bullying us kids? If word of this gets out, you'll lose all face!"

"Bullying kids? That's my favorite pastime! You guys are the first bunch foolish enough to earn a beating from me since I came back to the Realm of Chaos." Tianming appeared before Liu Xiaoyang, who reminded Tianming of another person called Liu Qianyang. His elder sister was Liu Qing, who was married to Li Yanfeng. Tianming wondered if Liu Qing existed in this universe too. Either way, Liu Xiaoyang was Liu Qianyang's descendant, probably a great grandson of sorts, not that Tianming really cared. He didn't bother giving more looks to the kid who was shitting his pants and crushed his jaw with a kick to the face.

"How dare you kill so many from Violetblitz?! You're insane! You've started a war! Those aren't consequences you can bear!" Liu Xiaoyang cried.

"So what? You were the ones who started it!" Tianming's sword immediately hacked Liu Xiaoyang into pieces. Bai Ling's soul offense ripped his divine soul apart, killing him before he could turn into essence.

"Impossible..." Liu Xiaoyang didn't think that Tianming would be this ruthless to the moment of his death. Even Lin Wanjun hadn't expected that, since Tianming hadn't been known to be someone with this demeanor all the way back then.

Almost everyone in the fortress perished with Liu Xiaoyang after half an hour, with only a few managing to escape. Tianming had cleared out the fortress on his own, leaving not a single cosmic god there. Only then did the ghouls get absorbed back into the hell-ring on his chest, which burped audibly after it reclaimed the ghouls and turned back into a deadfish eye, which left Tianming's chest and took the form of a tiny girly infant, looking around like it was the most harmless thing in the world. It even hugged Tianming's neck like a scared little thing.

Mu Ziyan and the hundred others from the Mu Clan were completely speechless.

"Great Grandmother, Great Grandfather truly is amazing..." Mu Ziyan couldn't help but utter.

"That's right. He really did go through with his threat without a second thought!"

"I feel great!"

"We've been avenged!"

Only then did the reactions start to pour in. Some of them kneeled towards Tianming, shedding tears of joy. "Long live Great Grandfather!"

Tianming really didn't know what to do about being treated like an old senior. It seemed that he would have a much harder time getting along with the young ones considering the seniority he held over them.

"Forget it, forget it. I'm happy that you all are safe," Tianming said, shelving his ruthless side away in favor of his gentle one.

"Great Grandfather truly is kind!"

"How approachable!"

Tianming almost mentally broke down once more. "Darn it... Alright, now that you're safe, return to Nullity and get the others to be treated. Leave the rest here to me."

"Great Grandfather, aren't we in trouble after killing so many from Violetblitz? Things are rather sensitive as of late," Mi Ziyan asked.

"It's not something you have to worry about. Since he returned, he's focused on drawing clear lines and enforcing them. Repaying them a hundredfold is one of his rules, and while that might attract dissent and challenges from others, it is something that we need to break out of the stalemate. Though we of the Mu Clan are dragging the sky plunderers down, we are not afraid of death as long as a shred of hope remains," Mu Qingqing said.

"Yes, Great Grandmother." Mu Ziyan was still rather rattled. Everything had changed since the Skyplunder imperial son returned. There would be more conflict, but also more excitement.

"Alright, now head back," Mu Qingqing said.

"Seniors, we were captured because we made a huge discovery! We need to let you know about it first before we head back to Nullity," Mu Ziyan said somewhat animatedly.
