Chapter 4218 - Order Was Unnecessary

"You're coming with?" Tianming said, surprised. He had thought that he would be alone for quite some time in the Realm of Chaos. Who knew that Lingfeng would show up at a time like this? It was a welcome delight!

"Once you're there, I'll go look for you!" Lingfeng seemed as if he was forcefully barging into the pathway between the Realms of Chaos and Order. After he said that, his body vanished in the vortex.

"Alright! I'll be waiting!" Tianming said, not knowing if Lingfeng could hear him. "Feng might always be in some trouble or another, but he's reliable when it counts."

He turned his attention to the chaos worldbangle, which was siphoning away his cosmoforce and replacing it with the energy of the new world, properly converting it. The same was happening to his lifebound beasts, who were connected to him and could use the bangle to convert their energies as well.

"This energy feels like nova source too, but..." The energy felt completely different to him. Nova source seemed to have a concave, inward quality as opposed to the convex, outward quality of chaotic power. Nova source was projected outwards from nova-source worlds in the Realm of Order and seemed like an external force with potential for destruction.

"I wonder if I can convert this energy to cosmoforce using a Primordial-Chaos-Beast codex..."

"You can!" Ying Huo was already absorbing it. Its bird head popped out from Tianming's right arm, beak open to suck in the energy of the new world. It only took a mild conversion with the chaos worldbangle before it became infernal cosmoforce.

"How's this new energy?" Tianming asked before trying it himself.

"A little odd. It feels like a compressive and implosive energy. It's a bit hard to get it to pop. It doesn't seem like we'll be able to deal as much damage as we're used to, but it also seems to be really self-stabilizing," Ying Huo said, scratching its head.

"I got it!" Xian Xian excitedly said. "When this energy enters my body, it feels like my radix order isn't necessary to control the energy anymore. The energy itself is stable!"

"How can that be?" Tianming found it hard to believe. All this time, stabilizing the energy in one's body with order was a fundamental part of cultivation in the Realm of Order. In other words, order was the soul of energy which all cultivators derived from the ordered sea.

"So in the Realm of Chaos, one does not need order to absorb and use energy. Wouldn't that make the people here break through even quicker? What would they improve and refine if not for order? Does strength depend purely on bloodline and who has more energy?"

That felt remarkably similar to the point in cultivation before Tianming developed heavenly will. Back then, breakthroughs were marked by increasing energy capacities, but that was an incredibly low form of cultivation in the mortal world.

"It really seems to be the case!" Lan Huang said. "I don't care, I'm just going to absorb as much as I can!"

During the absorption, they released the cosmoforce derived from nova source of the Realm of Order, replacing it with the new energy. The chaos worldbangle was crucial to this process. If Tianming had no medium for this absorption, his body might be put under great stress throughout.

"What about you, Ji Ji?" Tianming asked.

"It's not that different for me. As long as it's nova source, I can absorb it," Ji Ji said.

"What about you, Xi Xi?"

"My... my power is from another world and it doesn't conflict with this one..." Xi Xi said weakly from within the lifebound space. It was so terrified by the surrounding darkness that it hid in Lan Huang's belly fearfully.

"Ah, right. You use Xi Hwa hell source." As for the two parts of Sixth, their soul power was not too unlike nova source, which was fine after the conversion.

Since the beasts were already doing it, Tianming decided to start as well. The whole process took half ayear. Eventually, all of the cosmoforce in every single middlekin astron inside him had been transformed. It didn't look like anything had changed from the outside aside from the much dimmer glow. He no longer looked like an astral giant, but rather, a warm giant of flesh and blood.

Naturally, his essence still stayed the same. It just seemed that the nova source of the Realm of Chaos didn't glow at all. Tianming launched a punch and noticed how dim and weak it seemed, though if the punch actually hit something, it would be at least seventy percent as potent as a punch made using energy from the Realm of Order.

"So, I may have become weaker, but I don't need to use order to stabilize this energy." The ten streams of order in his body, including his two and the eight from the lifebound beasts, were still in his body, just not used. That was what defined a cosmic god, but order no longer held the reins.

"Doesn't that mean I can get stronger just by absorbing energy? But how do you even get to forming middlekin astrons? Also, if I break through here, won't I lose control in the Realm of Order after converting it all back?" He had many doubts about it, so he didn't dare to give it a try yet. "I guess I'll find out in the Realm of Chaos."

The mystery of the Realm of Chaos was mainly in the energy source. That alone already made it a mystery for Tianming. The fact that order wasn't necessary at all changed Tianming's worldview somewhat. Was there really a world where order was unnecessary?

"A nova-source world's fusion formation is made from divine celestial patterns, while divine ordered patterns are always present in natural energy, just like naturally formed formations. Without order at all, the Realm of Chaos can't give rise to divine celestial patterns that can be made into fusion formations, which means star worlds don't exist. Where do the people there live? What kind of energy source do they rely on?"

On the flip side of the Flameyellow Continent, Tianming had seen a black sun in the sky. That must be a heliacal-class nova source of some sort. Where did the people there live on a world without a fusion formation? Are those worlds merely ownerless worlds? Order was far too important to the Realm of Order, being the fundamental source of everything. But after this conversion, Tianming and his beasts were no different than normal people in the Realmn of Chaos.

"Alright. Once I find Comma Girl, I will get my answers."
