Chapter 4123 - Secret Meeting of the Six
Chapter 4123 - Secret Meeting of the Six
"Oh, there are others?" The siblings found that rather curious.
"Since you're so confident about it, I can rest assured, then," Mushan Feng said, breathing in slightly as he offered his hand to Tianming. They shook hands and Mushan Feng said, "Since I'm older, I'll call you Little Bro."
"Big Brother Feng," Tianming said in agreement.
Mushan Feng hummed in approval. "We are a race forgotten by history and one that bears a heavy grudge. I've never believed that the flameyellow voidkin exist as their own thing. It's merely a self-deprecating label that we apply on ourselves to separate ourselves from the rest. After the fall of our kind, the weak exiles who were criminals and prisoners were the only ones who were left behind. Given all that, I used to believe that all of us should abandon any such notion of separation to earn the trust of the flameyellow descendants back before our kind can truly return to glory. We need to unite and share the same fate, be it in life or death. Only then do we deserve to rise again. If we still fight among one another for our own selfish ends, then the Flameyellow might as well remain dormant forever. If we aren't able to move past that, we don't deserve to be hegemons."
Tianming felt rather touched by the speech. "Your words have shown me the full picture of our predicament."
"After countless generations, the chance of our revival is finally here. It would be the greatest honor if our generation is the one who will bless the countless generations of flameyellow descendants to come!" Mushan Feng's words showed why he would be willing to trust Tianming to this extent and even give him the thirty million essences just like that. This was the kind of hero they needed in a world of chaos, one that trusted himself and the character of the people he led.
"My brother said that he believes in the ancestors. The Flamaeyellow have ruled the Upper Star Ruin for far longer than the Eightpart Pantheons have. Such an unparalleled force would never select the wrong heir to their legacy. That's why he's willing to bet everything on you!" Mushan Xue said, eyes turning red from emotion.
Tianming finally felt like his wariness towards them was unneeded after feeling the depth of the siblings' dedication.
"After I take over the Primordial Sands, I will make sure to come up with something that will satisfy those of you in the Ancestral Void Realm. You are right, the flameyellow voidkin never existed in the first place; all of us are flameyellow descendants! As long as you return to the imperial star, you will be the leaders on our path back to glory. Your fellow flameyellow descendants across the entire Upper Star Ruin are waiting for you to save them."
"That's a promise, then," Mushan Feng said, still not letting go of Tianming's hand.
"Gentleman's honor," Tianming said.
"A gentleman indeed," Mushan Feng said.
"And what is a fair lady like me to do in a gentleman's deal?" Mushan Xue said as she teared up.
"Little Xue," Mushan Feng said, "You should go to the imperial star. Witness the glory of our new home on our behalf."
"You're more than welcome," Tianming said.
"Really?" Mushan Xue said with disbelief. The other two nodded. Smiling and crying tears of joy in anticipation, she said, "Amazing!"
By now, the cosmic-god essences had all been moved into the ship. Tianming met Mushan Feng's gaze once more outside the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb.
"I'll be waiting for the good news," Mushan Feng said. "When I go back, I'll tell the elders about the illustrious future that's in store for us."
"Alright, I'll also look forward to your good news," Tianming said with a wave.
"Goodbye, my fine brother!" Mushan Feng returned to the Ancestral World immediately.
"It's about time we left too," Tianming said to Mushan Xue.
""Okay..." Mushan Xue looked in the direction that her brother left in.
"Your big brother is truly someone worthy of respect," Tianming said.
She smiled and said, "That's right. He's fated to be a fighter. Nobody will be able to get one over him.The fact that he's able to meet someone like you in the final moments of his life should make him burn even brighter."
"Final moments?" Tianming asked, stunned.
"No... Sorry, I misspoke."
"Don't scare me like that. Your brother's still young."
"Yes..." A hint of grief flashed across her eyes as she nodded.
The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb's journey back began. "Yin Chen, how are things looking?"
"Enemies are... not in... the vicinity... The other... five maniverse... class worlds... have sent... reinforcements to... Grand Jiang..."
"The reinforcements are here, huh?"
"Key figures... will soon... hold a... secret meeting."
"This little information bug is amazing," Mushan Xue said, impressed. She also believed that the ancestors wouldn't pick the wrong person for the job.
"What you see is only the tip of the iceberg," Tianming said with confidence.
"I see. So, what's going on? Is there internal conflict in the Primordial Sands?"
Tianming briefed her on the situation quickly.
"Wow... How many wives do you have? And are all of them that amazing?" Mushen Xue sounded impressed.
Ying Huo popped out and said, "The harem still has lots of room! He won't object if you want to join."
"I better not!" Mushan Xue jumped with shock. "Don't speak nonsense! I'm too timid to join a high-level battlefield like this!"
Ying Huo chuckled.
She turned to Tianming again and asked, "I'm sure the secret meeting's agenda is about defense. Will you join them?"
"I can still make it if I rush! Sit tight!"
