Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 4109 - A True Man

Chapter 4109 - A True Man

Inside a deep cavern in the upper ruins, cosmic-god essences littered the ground, shining with a glassy brilliance that transformed this dark cavern into a sea of white stars.

At the very center sat a woman with long black hair. She seemed to be doing nothing, yet those cosmic-god essences around her revolved about her, gradually dissolving into a torrent of wonders that flowed into her.

There were also streams of caeli letting out faint cries of sorrow as they were absorbed and devoured by her order.

Her order was called “love,” which seemed to encompass everything.

The countless wonders gathered around her like a splendid sea of flowers, becoming part of her. However, Moran’s eyes were closed with a frown.

“Big sisters, why are you sad...” Moran murmured to herself.

Right after, her expression and tone changed, and she said with resentment, “Little brother only cares about her, and abandoned us. We were only his toys... He never loved us.”

“Just toys,” She muttered, her gaze somewhat dazed. This fused body belonged to every one of them. Even though Moran held the dominant position, all of them still had a share.

“Why think like this? He’s already treated us very well. Without him, when we were in Orderia, we would never have had a future. And besides, Ling’er was originally the one he loved the most, we came later...” Moran spoke softly, yet she was soon interrupted.

“He only thought we were useful, that’s all.”

Hearing this, Moran felt hurt. She shook her head and said, “Big sisters, in the beginning we never thought like this. We only wished to repay his kindness and had pure thoughts. In the end, we got him, so how can we now act greedy and even be jealous? That’s not right.”

After saying this, they all fell silent.

“Why... why do you all seem to have changed somehow...” Moran’s voice trembled slightly.

“Little sister, don’t overthink it. Our feelings for him are no less than yours. No matter what, we will always follow him,” she muttered again.

“Really?” She lowered her head, her expression somewhat blank. For a moment, she did not know which words belonged to whom.

“We’re about to become his strongest helpers. He needs us.” Moran spoke as she lifted her head, brilliance flowing within her black eyes.

She slowly opened her arms, devouring all the cosmic-god essences and orders around her. Next, she only needed a period of digestion before she would step onto a new peak that was infinitely close to Tianming’s combat strength in his Emperor state.

“He abandoned us to go find his one true love...” After absorbing those wonders, she clenched her teeth, and a layer of frost appeared on her face.

“Little Fish.”

Just as she inexplicably felt resentment, a familiar voice suddenly called out. Moran’s whole body trembled. The frost on her face melted instantly like glaciers meeting volcanic lava, turning into crystalline tears flowing down her cheeks.

“You...” She opened her eyes, and saw that white-haired youth smiling warmly at her, as dazzling as sunshine.

“Why did you come back?” she asked in a daze.

Tianming smiled and said, “After thinking it over, I couldn’t feel safe leaving you here alone.”

“I can protect myself.” Moran shook her head.

“Come with me.” Tianming said, with a tone that brooked no disagreement.

Moran pressed her lips together, then nodded. “Alright.”

Moran always looked like a melancholic beauty, appearing soft and fragile. She followed Tianming into Ancestral Void Ark, which took off towards the entrance of the Primordial Sands.

At the window, Tianming pulled her over to sit beside him, watching the dark marsh outside together. This was not the starry sky, so there was actually no scenery, but instead felt like tunneling underground.

“Something on your mind?” Tianming suddenly grasped her hand and asked.

“No.” Moran lowered her head and spoke softly.

“Don’t overthink it.” Tianming grinned, “No matter what problems there are, leave them to me to solve.”

“Alright.” She nodded.

“Do you know what the most important thing is?” Tianming asked.

“What is it?” Moran lifted her head, gazing into his gold-black eyes.

“You all are mine!” Tianming stared into her eyes as well. “I’m someone who wants everything. I need you and all of them, and I can also handle you all. Never mistake me for some small man with limited love or power. I’m a great man with limitless potential!”

Upon hearing this, Moran finally couldn’t help but giggle. She blinked at him and said, “So what you mean is you were born to have a harem, and you absolutely have enough love to share around.”

“Precisely.” Tianming pinched her cheek. “Never underestimate me.”

“Now I’m curious. Do you dare to say such words to Ling’er as well?” Moran asked.

Tianming cleared his throat awkwardly, then schooled his face and said, “I’m on my way to do it now.”

Though the timing was not ideal, many things in the world were urgent. There were some things he had to do.

“You’ve devoured the Saturatia Dreamlord and his followers, right?” Tianming shifted the topic.

“Yes.” Moran nodded.

“Then hurry to see if you can break through. Once we reach the Primordial Sands, a fierce battle may come,” Tianming said.

“What’s the goal this time?” Moran asked, her eyes filling with faith. Tianming’s return seemed to perfectly soothe the turbulence and confusion in her heart. Their short conversation had helped the light in her eyes become pure and natural.

“To conquer the Primordial Sands, transfer the Sun over, make this our base, and... welcome Ling’er home!” Tianming said openly.

“Alright...” Moran bit her lip, spoke no more, and went to absorb the orders.

At this moment, she was still around two thousand meters. After some time, she would completely leave others far behind.

Tianming accompanied her, silently watching her for a long time.

Moran grew to four thousand meters, already nearly reaching the level of the ruler of a maniverse-class world. And Tianming knew there was still room for growth, and there were still wonderians left in the upper ruins!
