Chapter 3981 - Not a Soul in Sight
Chapter 3981 - Not a Soul in Sight
After a while, Tianming and Moran finally emerged. Although she was a cosmic god, Moran couldn’t stop herself from blushing deeply like a shy newlywed.
Tianming activated the Ancestral Void Ark, heading toward the entrance of the Ancient Flameyellow Ruins.
“Brother, are we going to the Ancient Oldgod Domain first?” Qingyu asked.
“Yeah.” Tianming had no choice. Lingfeng still hadn’t appeared and he couldn’t wait any longer.
“If he appears at Miracle Mountain, he should hear the name ‘Lin Feng’. He’ll probably figure it out,” Tianming said.
“Little Feng’s probably anxious too, trying to find a way to rescue me from the Ancient Oldgod Domain. He probably thinks you’re still in the Lower Star Ruins....” Qingyu worried. The inability to contact each other was a big issue.
“If he can find a way to the Ancient Oldgod Domain, maybe we’ll run into him there,” Tianming said. Though he was worried, he still trusted in Lingfeng’s abilities.

The Ancestral Void Ark arrived near the entrance of the ruins. Tianming and his group exited, quietly passing through the black mirror. There was constant traffic of genius cosmic gods entering and exiting, so it wasn’t too much of a problem.
Before coming out, Tianming had already taken off his violet flower mask, officially resuming his identity as Li Tianming. After leaving, he had Bai Ling and Bai Ye hijack an astralship and returned to the Sun via wormhole express.
Upon arriving, he immediately handed over the ninelives fruits and most of the cultivation resources he had snatched from the Ancient Flameyellow Ruins to Wudi.
“Damn!” Hearing that Qingyu’s Eightpart Holy Daughter inheritance had already reached the 60th tier, Wudi was completely shocked because he himself had only reached the 50th.
As a father who was only a ninth-level overflower, Wudi was starting to feel like a son in front of Tianming and Qingyu. It defied the natural order and freaked him out. Grabbing overflow fragments and ninelives fruits, he shut himself in the Flameyellow Coffin.
His biggest contribution during the recent period had been removing the heavenly shackles from the 10 billion inhabitants of the Sun. With the resources Tianming had won, their talent had been fully unlocked and their cultivation was skyrocketing. It was only a matter of time before they returned to the peak of the cosmos.
The flameyellow descendants mainly exist in fortuna-class worlds. For now, they haven’t been affected.... Before my identity’s exposed, I need to find a way to either rescue them or give them the means to fight back. That would be an incredibly difficult task for Tianming. The Primordial Sands and the flameyellow voidkin are my opportunities.
He put the matter aside for the time being, then used the Myriadpath Celestial Formation to return to the Lower Star Ruins, and from there, once again entered the Ancient Oldgod Domain.
Qingyu remained on the Sun. This time, only Tianming and Moran made the trip.
Originally, it was supposed to be a sweet couple’s adventure, but as soon as they arrived at God Domain Four, it turned into a love triangle.
“You’re a third-level cosmic god now?” Tianming looked at the cold purple-haired girl in front of him and couldn’t help but click his tongue.
“What, surprised?” Zi Zhen rolled her eyes at him, then looked at Moran and gnashed her teeth in frustration upon seeing that the woman who had once lagged far behind now surpassed her in level.
It had to be said that, after becoming a cosmic god, Zi Zhen’s aura had dramatically changed. She had become even more cold and solitary, appearing like a girl with a gloomy aura and violent tendencies. Although she was petite, her body was immensely powerful.
She and Moran were polar opposites.
So now, Tianming had a tall, graceful wonderian with ink-green hair on his left and a petite, cold specter with purple hair on his right, forming a green-and-purple duo that would make anyone envious.
The only downside was that the two didn’t get along. Though they didn’t directly say anything, the competitive tension between them was palpable.
“Has Sixth's vita shown any activity lately?” Tianming asked at God Domain Four’s formation.
Zi Zhen shook her head. “Strangely, no one’s come down from above lately.”
“Not even the orderlies or the wonderians?” he asked in confusion.
“None.”
“Now that we have three fighters, we shouldn’t need to fear the orderlies’ cosmic gods.” Tianming had already checked. The strongest cosmic god in the Ancient Oldgod Domain was fourth level, so he was more than safe now.
“As for Sixth's vita, even if it has many people under its control, without symbiotic cultivation it should still have a limit.” That said, the wonderian presence might still hold some variables. “Even so, we continue.” He didn’t say more. He stepped onto the formation with Zi Zhen and Moran, boldly taking both their hands. It gave him a sense of ascending the throne.
Moran’s hand was soft and warm, while Zi Zhen’s tiny hand looked weak but could easily crush his fingers if she squeezed. Tian Jiu, Huang Qi, Di Yi.... Tianming thought of the existences with numbers in their names. Jiu (Nine), Qi (Seven), and Yi (One). He checked the ring on his finger that was imprisoning Huang Qi; there was still no movement. He didn’t hesitate further and activated the formation, heading to God Domain Five.
Not long after, a flash of light transported them into a new Order College. The Ancient Oldgod Domain was made up of nine small worlds embedded in the Sea of Order, and their current position was close to the center of the Sea of Order. Last time, just arriving at the God Domain Two, they had immediately run into a fight with Sixth’s terra. Tianming thought it would be the same this time and another battle would break out upon their arrival.
But unexpectedly, the entire area was deserted.
“Why’s no one here?” He scanned his surroundings. The entire Order College was empty. There were no orderlies, nor signs of Sixth's vita.
Zi Zhen and Moran remained alert, guarding Tianming.
“Even the college’s formation isn’t activated?” Tianming easily walked out of the eye of heaven inside the Order College.
Once outside, he looked around and found the entire God Domain Five was completely deserted. “The orderlies in God Domain Two, Three, and Four were all slaughtered by Bai Ling. Why’s this one also empty?” He looked confused. The entire place had become a ghost city. As a result, many order and overflow fragments that had fallen from the Sea of Order were untouched, lying scattered all over the streets.
“Something’s wrong,” he gravely said.
“What now?” Zi Zhen asked.
“Let’s keep moving up.”
They continued to God Domains Six, Seven, and Eight, where the same scenery greeted them. The three God Domains also had no living beings and overflow fragments lay scattered everywhere.
At that point, only the central God Domain Nine remained.
“It probably didn’t kill them all. The orderlies are its assets,” Bai Ling coldly said.
“It’s definitely scheming something big again,” Bai Ye sneered.
“We’ll find out soon enough,” Tianming said no more as the three boarded the formation for God Domain Nine.
