If the Primordial Sands ended up being conquered, the many races there would either be considered subraces or even made into slaves of the Eightpart Pantheons, which was something those of the Primordial Sands simply couldn't accept.

So far, the mission of Jiang Lincheng's group was to keep searching for ninelives fruit and study the changes of the Ninelives Ancestral Tree. They had been fine for a while and even got more ninelives fruits, but they were unlucky enough to run into wonderians.

"Wonderians are able to deploy their divine wonders across large areas. They can scan for people much better than just using cosmic sense! It's impossible to hide once their tracking locks onto you.... They're even more troublesome than the ashuras." Tianming immediately headed toward the group and asked Yin Chen to tell him more about the wonderians.

"The leader is ranked fifth on the Ten Desolate Cosmic Genii Ranking?" They were a wonderian couple, Shiming Yisheng and Shiming Yishi. Being from Saturatia-49's royal lineage, they are said to be the fifth most talented among all the other young ones. Coupled with the fact that they were almost five hundred years old, their combat capabilities might be even better than the third-ranked Princess You You. It was customary for wonderians to always travel as a pair, and it was the same this time as well.

"They are seventh-level cosmic gods and not even five hundred years old. That's really high! They must be the cream of the crop in the Ten Desolate Starforges." This wonderian couple was no doubt among the leaders of the Eightpart Pantheons' juniors. They were probably stronger than Lin Chaoge that Jiang Lincheng mentioned.

"To be fair, they were really unlucky to run into the leading wonderian of the Eightpart Pantheons. Datou would need a miracle to survive," Ying Huo said. Yin Chen had tried to keep a lookout for the group as well, but they were too close and got locked on by the divine wonder, something which couldn't really be prevented.

"What's their status?" Tianming asked. He had instructed Jiang Datou to escape toward him, but the fifty pairs of wonderians were still on their tail.

"They are... almost caught!" Yin Chen said.

"No doubt, they'd be wiped out completely. Even if they're taken prisoner, it'll not end well for them!" Tianming grit his teeth anxiously. This wasn't child's play; this was war between the youth!

"Brother Datou, listen here. Split up immediately and run in different directions! Don't get wiped out at the same time!" Tianming said. Unlike the time when they were at the hidden cave, there were many ways they could escape, so they weren't trapped in a corner.

"Alright!" Jiang Datou also felt that the wonderians had a firm lock on them. "Comrades, let's split up to increase our chances! We'll get in touch if we survive!" Jiang Lincheng ordered before picking a random direction to run in at the first cave fork. The other cosmic gods zipped off into different directions as well.

Though they reacted quickly, the wonderians in pursuit were not messing around. They immediately split into two groups of four and split up at the fork, still locked firmly onto their targets. Thanks to transmission stones, it was easy for them to meet up again once the fight was over.

The many complicated divine wonders swarmed the disciples of the Primordial Sands like restless floodwaters. The cosmic gods from the Primordial Sands were mostly primalwingers who spread their wings and flew around with swiftness and agility. Traveling as individuals was easier than traveling in a large group. Still, their pursuers outnumbered them. There were at least a few pairs of fifth-level cosmic gods, each pair no weaker than Jiang Lincheng at all, making it incredibly risky for third-level cosmic gods like Jiang Datou and the rest.

It hadn't been long, but some primalwingers had already been caught up to and reduced to cosmic god essence by the prideful wonderians. It was like a hunting competition. If that went on, Jiang Lincheng and the rest might be caught too!

"Yin Chen, is there any target I can prioritize?" Tianming furrowed his brow after hearing Yin Chen describe the situation. He wasn't able to break through, so if there wasn't anyone he could take advantage of, he wouldn't be able to help!

"There is," Yin Chen said, much to Tianming's relief. It used text mode to say, 'Shiming Shengshi has a pair of siblings, named Shiming Yixing and Shiming Yiyue. They are also among the group in pursuit, but there are quite a few powerful elites near them. You need to be quick if you want to take these key figures hostage.'

Chances like this were rare. Shiming Shengshi naturally had people protecting their siblings, and the security was tight even during a pursuit like this. Those wonderians were fourth-level cosmic gods themselves and ranked tenth in terms of talent. The Ten Desolate Cosmic Genii Ranking was not a measure of combat capability, but talent and potential. Wonderians took up three of the top ten spots, showing how impressive they were in the Upper Star Ruin. Shiming Yixing and Shiming Yiyue weren't pushovers and were definitely much stronger than Princess You You, something which put a lot of pressure on Tianming.

"I'll have to go all out!" A fifth-level cosmic god had almost caught up with Jiang Datou!
