Chapter 3884 - Now it's My Turn to Judge You
Tianming truly hadn't expected that three cosmic gods would retreat so decisively. Logically, when they faced someone they considered a slave, their pride should have been wounded after such a great loss.
"The Moonfiend Hunt? They must be cosmic gods who’ve long lived on the edge." That would explain their sharp instincts.
Even though Mo Tu was still somewhat unwilling, he followed Yue Mo and swam against the sea of starmoon sword ki.
Tianming and Long Xing did everything they could to give chase. They didn't want to leave any latent threats, as the flameyellow descendants were far too fragile. Tianming still had many things to do, and couldn’t afford to be stalled here.
“What a riot! In the blink of an eye, the hunter and the prey have switched roles!” Ying Huo was actually excited, still foolishly giggling.
“Now’s exactly the time to be cautious....” When the enemy had been the hunter, they’d left an opening because they were tempted and split their forces. Now that Tianming’s side was the hunter, however, they couldn’t make the same mistake.
Fortunately, Tianming’s Fiveway Blitzrun and the violet titanic dragon were both extremely fast. Long Xing had yet to fight, so he was itching for some action!
Starmoon sword ki was still constantly pressing down on the three cosmic gods, who used their fists and palms to shatter the strands.
“They’re about to escape!” Tianming felt a headache coming on. Once the enemies got out of the formation, its advantage would be gone. And sure enough, in the next moment, the ashura and two devas burst out of Starmoon Haven toward their blood-red crescent ship!
A beat later, a golden chain entwined with the Four Cardinals Swordprison burst out as well and followed them into the void. Yue Mo and Yuan Xiao had already entered the blood-red crescent, but just as Mo Tu was about to enter, the chain wrapped around his leg dozens of times before coiling around his body like a snake.
“Outrageous!” Mo Tu’s face darkened. He tried ripping apart the chain, but the force coming from it was as strong as a specter!
The blood-red crescent was just about to set off when Mo Tu was yanked down. Tianming had reeled in his catch.
“Chains really are handy!” It greatly enriched his breadth of options.
“Li Tianming, this isn’t the Starmoon Guard Formation!” Mo Tu didn’t really want to flee. The Skyscorch Desolation tightened, cutting open his skin. Fury burned red-hot in his chest; it was an utter humiliation for a starlord to be dragged around like livestock.
“Right! Exactly! You three pieces of trash didn’t dare fight inside, so we came out here to fight you to the end! All of you so-called ‘exalted bloodlines’ of the Upper Star Ruin are incredible at running away, then calling for backup. Is that the divine ability you’ve passed down through generations?” Tianming mocked with a cold sneer. Shaming their lineage was the most effective way for a “slave” to provoke their fighting spirit. If they still dared to flee after that, it would be a complete loss of face.
“Chief, he’s anxious!” Mo Tu growled as he broke free from the chain.
“Don’t mind his provocations. He’s desperate, we aren’t.” Yue Mo, a seasoned killer, wasn’t affected at all. The more Tianming taunted, the less he cared for face. He simply told Mo Tu, “Stop getting dragged into this. Let’s go! Worst case, abandon the Worldgazer Skyeye and let the sacred lord of Saturatia-49 handle it. Also, Qiu Yuan still has brothers in the Ninefold Hell. No need for us to take the risk.”
“Yes!” Mo Tu pushed down his rage and turned to flee.
“Did I say you could leave?” The delay had given the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb and Long Xing time to arrive. The tomb promptly gave a greeting gift of a Manicrest Dragonsource to the Crimson Crescent, and the resulting explosion made Yue Mo hastily steer his ship away.
“They can go, but you stay!” Tianming took advantage of the moment to again target Mo Tu. His Skyscorch Desolation lashed out to whip Mo Tu hard, who had been shaken after the massive explosion.
“I’ve got him!” Long Xing and the violet titanic dragon rushed to Mo Tu. Tianming stepped forward, blocking the Crimson Crescent; Mo Tu was completely cut off.
“Chief Yue Mo! Help me!” Mo Tu roared. Although he couldn’t stand the humiliation, he knew what Yue Mo was like and could only call out for help.
“Mo Tu!” Long Xing and his dragon fully surrounded Mo Tu.
“Slave...! I’ve seen you before!” Mo Tu’s eyes turned blood-red.
“Too bad you didn’t kill me when you had the chance! Well, sorry to say, things change with time. Now it’s my turn to judge you.” Long Xing’s gaze blazed. Mo Tu was the strongest cosmic god of the Midsky Tristars, and a monstrous villain in the eyes of the flameyellow descendants. All of Long Xing’s bitter cultivation had been for this day, when he could finally enact justice for his people!
Long Xing and the violet titanic dragon attacked without a word.
Mo Tu couldn’t endure a slave standing up to him and transformed into a three-headed, six-armed black demon, each hand wielding a butcher’s cleaver while a butchering ghost crawled out of the twofold hell-wheel on his chest.
Mo Tu’s body lacked hideous pale worm eyes, but his body was much more powerful than the devas. Both he and the butchering ghost had ended countless lives.
The six cleavers seemed to cover everything as they hacked down on Long Xing and the violet titanic dragon.
The battle began!
On the other side, Tianming stood before the blood-red crescent. As long as Yue Mo and Yuan Xiao didn’t move, neither would he. “My grudge is with Mo Tu, it has nothing to do with the two of you. If you want to leave, go ahead,” he calmly said.
Yue Mo glanced at the battle between the flameyellow divinity and the deva, and just one look at Long Xing’s power made the situation clear.
