Chapter 3794 - The Emperor Wont be Let Down
Chapter 3794 - The Emperor Won't be Let Down
Nine mechanized dragon heads bit down on the Scorchmoon right as the Ninesun finally separated from the nine-colored gears of the other ship. Yanri Shuang's mistake had left them one fatal step behind!
"What's he planning to do?!" Luori Xuanlie turned to Luori Zhong. "Did you assimilate the formation core yet?! Make the Scorchmoon fly away!"
"I'm only halfway done!" Luori Zhong blankly said.
Luori Xuanlie's head turned numb from the shocking developments. There were more than eight million people in the Scorchmoon, which had no controller. It couldn't even fight back or flee in its current state!
The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb raised the Scorchmoon up high, then began flying toward the astral hole without paying the rest from Starmoon Haven any heed.
"Chase it down!" Luori Xuanlie's expression changed as he roared at Xing Can and Yanri Shuang.
The two ships flew toward the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb, being able to fly faster as they didn't have to carry the full weight of the Scorchmoon. Even though the Ninesun had previously been rather unstable, it was suddenly able to fly straight again. However, they were all too close to the astral hole! The Ninedragon Imperial Tomb managed to drag the Scorchmoon to its top. Having no controller, there was nothing the Scorchmoon could do to resist whatever the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb did to it.
"Huh? What's he doing?!" Xing Can, Luori Xuanlie, and the other overflowers felt like they were being smacked on the head by the flat of a blade. The eight million people within the Scorchmoon were even more flabbergasted, unable to see anything outside and being flung around within the ship from all the shaking.
"What's going on?!"
"Who's messing around?!"
"I don't know!"
"Is someone mad or something?! Let me out!"
No matter their complaints, the Scorchmoon didn't stop at all. The shaking grew even more intense, to the point that some overflowers couldn't endure it any longer.
"The Scorchmoon seems to have been grabbed by something!"
"What is it?!"
None of them had any idea that they had been dragged all the way to the astral hole.
"Li Tianming, what’re you planning to do?! There’s more than eight million lives in the Scorchmoon!" Luori Xuanlie roared after boarding the Ninesun. The two fortuna-class ships from Starmoon Haven flew toward the astral hole as the hundred overflowers watched with their hearts pounding.
"Big Brother, are you...." Qingyu blankly watched the white-haired youth. She had noticed a change in him since his most recent acquisition of omnisentient power.
Tianming turned and smiled at her. "The emperor won't be let down."
Which emperor? The sun emperor? The one who destroyed the Skywolf Stars to defend the Sun? Qingyu felt a chill in her heart. When she turned around, she saw fifteen million people with the same gaze that Tianming had, filled with intense rage—Long Qian and the other dragonoids in particular. For generations, everything they had endured in the Middlekin Star Ruin had been engraved deep in their minds and could never be forgotten. Who would dare forgive their oppressors on their behalf?
"Kill them!" all of them and their beasts yelled, shaking the entire ship. Even those in the Scorchmoon could hear the heartfelt roar.
"What’re they doing?!" The denizens of the Middlekin Star Ruin didn't know what they had inflicted upon so many others, justifying their every action without a second thought by citing the Heavenly Dao's judgment. They thought they had done nothing wrong, but Tianming's judgment came nevertheless.
Tianming growled as his eyes turned red. He seemed to move the nine-headed dragon like his own body and flung the Scorchmoon into the mirror-like surface of the astral hole! Then the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb fired off another nova-source blast, pushing its target beyond the point of no return.
The astral hole was the origin of the Middlekin Star Ruin. Many careless flameyellow descendants had fallen into it, suffering the fate of certain death; the astral hole was the force of ultimate destruction. The instant the Scorchmoon sank into it, its formations and the ores that made it up melted like flesh in lava.
"Aaaagh!"
"What is this place?!"
The eight million people were finally able to see what was outside. It was a place that nobody had dared approach. But they had forced the flameyellow descendants to go as deep as possible to retrieve middlekin stars. However, this time around, they were the ones there! Their eyes widened and faces turned pale as they uncontrollably shrieked, their souls seemingly scattering from fear and terror.
Then the miniaturized nova source of their ship exploded, unleashing a terrifying display of light near the top of the astral hole that could be seen from tens of millions of meters away. The explosion sent the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb flying off and vaporized the eight million passengers of the Scorchmoon. No corpse was left behind; even the ashes would remain trapped within the astral hole for eternity.
It had only taken an instant for eight million lives to be extinguished. A new path of vengeance had properly begun! There was no forgiveness in the Upper Star Ruin, only unassailable grudges.
The light from the astral hole enveloped the white-haired youth, but he began absorbing it all and turned into the most radiant being in the universe. He didn't say a single word, nor did his expression change in the slightest. The thirty million people and dragons behind him quietly watched him, unable to say a thing. Only those as resolute as Long Qian were able to let tears flow from their bloodshot eyes. The denizens of this Middlekin Star Ruin had been her lifelong nightmare, and the astral hole was the place she had feared the most.
"Dad... Mom...." Long Qian and Long Chen knelt on the ground. "You can rest in peace now...." They had sacrificed the souls of eight million oppressors to appease those who had departed.
That was the first decision Tianming had made after obtaining the second wave of omnisentient threads. It was something he knew he had to do.
"And this is just the beginning!"
***
The entire Middlekin Star Ruin shook as blinding light poured out of the astral hole, seemingly channeling its rage. Once the rumbling and illumination passed, deathly silence fell on the Middlekin Star Ruin.
