The Ebonfiend also had a clear view of what was happening on Ebonia. Shenxi Xingtian and his son, Shenxi Tianxi, watched everything with worried looks. They were completely silent even as Yi Daiyan slew the ancestral world monster. The Ebonfiend was completely silent despite the chaos outside.

"Father, in all the history of the Infinitum Bodhimanda, nobody knew that the Infinitum Stele could be used like that...." Even though they had expected something like this would happen, actually seeing it was a completely different matter.

Shenxi Xingtian felt the same humiliation he had when he’d first been dethroned by Yi Daiyan ages ago. She had just made an example of a foe, and it was more for Shenxi Xingtian and Shenxi Tianxi to see rather than the Sun. Tianming wouldn't be able to leave everyone on the Sun alone, but if the Ebonfiend hurried up, the father and son could still escape from her. But their main base was on Ebonia, so they couldn't run forever.

"What does she aim to achieve?!" Shenxi Tianxi said. Just then, news of the slaughter of sanctlighters was sent to their many transmission stones. "Is she insane? She's trying to take out an entire regal clan alone?!"

"Ask about what her subordinates are doing!" Shenxi Xingtian said. The ebon informants were constantly monitoring the situation.

"They haven't made any moves. All the astralships are awaiting orders and their army is still at rest," Shenxi Tianxi responded, expression odd.

"Nothing at all?" Shenxi Xingtian didn't get it, either.

"Can she actually take on the second-ranked regal clan alone with a powerful weapon?" Even Shenxi Xingtian didn't dare to imagine himself being capable of such a thing. Large-scale wars were mainly fought by ships and formations first, and only then did armies and elite generals come into play! Only an absolute being could singlehandedly overwhelm an entire battlefield. The entire mundus once more learned what it meant to be powerful in the absolute sense.

"Perhaps she's trying to get the other regal clans on our side to defect by showing what she can do to the sanctlighters. Father, she’s declared war on her own accord. If she's allowed to carry on as she pleases, we'll be on the back foot whether she succeeds or not. We have to be proactive to get ourselves out of this predicament!"

"That's right." Shenxi Xingtian took out a transmission stone. The figures of two refined girls were projected out of the stone. "Xuanxi, Linge, Yi Daiyan attacked the sanctlighters for no reason, so we’ll answer with a tier-one beast wave. Have them attack the luxdaemons from underground! This is a justified retaliation."

"Tier-one beast wave?" The two girls were shocked to hear that. It was the largest possible wildbeast attack they could orchestrate. The ebons' biggest advantage was that they could get the wildbeasts of Ebonia's underground world to attack in waves, either directly or indirectly.

Wildbeasts outnumbered humans by hundreds to a thousand times, making them the ebons' true trump card. They had been unable to use them against the Sun due to the sheer distance, but on their home turf, they were able to survive the persecution of the two reges mundi of the Swordgod Lin Clan thanks to those same nova wildbeasts.

"That's right. Use numbers to overwhelm their formation and have the astralships launch supporting fire. The defensive formation of the luxdaemons should be on the same level as Mount Taia's. We have to exterminate the luxdaemons in the shortest time possible!"

"Understood!" The two girls heeded their orders.

"No matter what she does to the sanctlighters, we're attacking her weakness. Let's see how she can threaten the regal clans in our alliance then!" Shenxi Tianxi harshly said. Both him and Yi Daiyan knew that the spark of war couldn't be taken back. They had to use what they had to their advantage to seize the moment! The luxdaemons had always been Yi Daiyan's weakness, so the ebons had already been planning a way to take them out using nova wildbeasts.

Shenxi Xingtian watched the world that he couldn't return to from outside the astralguard formation. "Shenxi Tianxi, when things get urgent, we have to bust our way in."

"Father, I’ll fight with you until I die," his son excitedly said.

"Good." Their fighting spirits didn't wane in the slightest. Before this, they’d had the upper hand, but even the ebons had been forced into an uphill battle. It didn't take long before their transmission stones rang out nonstop.

"Everyone, relax. Yi Daiyan's control of the Infinitum Stele was unexpected, but her moves will cost her. The sanctlighters have nobody to defend them from her rampage, but we ebons will make sure that the luxdaemons pay for this!"

"Trust the rex mundi!" cried the countless members of the Infinitum Regal Clans and many other minor ones. They were all ready to march into battle.

"All clans and families, be ready for battle. After the first assault, Ebonia will be a volatile battleground. May the mightiest decide the fate of Ebonia! The ebons have existed throughout most of Ebonia's history, and there’s no way that we'll take this lying down!"

"That's right!"

"Yi Daiyan’s only good for one generation, but the ebons shall triumph forever!"

"The luxdaemons never lived up to the fame and might of the Infinitum Regal Clans. Today, they’ll be eliminated!"

"Those foreign totemancers should have long perished, yet they dared to occupy Ebonia and rule the Infinitum Bodhimanda!"

"Shenxi Xingtian, our armies are ready to strike at any moment. We await your orders."

Apart from the sanctlighters, all of the other top clans were ready for battle. They continued monitoring the situation between the sanctlighters and luxdaemons; the two sides had their own advantages, and they would soon find out who would triumph.

"Her attack will no doubt stall her for now." Though Shenxi Xingtian said that, he knew that there must be a good reason for Yi Daiyan's choice. Even then, a single foundationeer was enough to sow terror by indiscriminately killing within the defensive formation.

"Yi Daiyan killed millions in a short time," Shenxi Tianxi said.

"You mean millions of elderly, women, and children, right?" Shenxi Xingtian said.

"Oh, of course not."

"If I say they are, then they are."

"Got it!"

That was the exact kind of justification the ebons needed for their cause. "We’ll punish the genocidal fiend, Yi Daiyan!"
