Beast Taming: the More the Better
Chapter 1354: The Rong Family Splits! Su Ping’s Gift!
Silence. Absolute dominance and strength could suppress any voice of dissent.
This was the Legend of the Holy Dragon, the Master of the Holy Dragon!
Yet, no one dared to speak. In that moment, they finally realized that the era of peace they had enjoyed was built upon the very foundation of this man’s conquests. Only now did they truly understand the weight of his absolute authority.
Once Rong Xiao and everyone from his branch were taken away and thrown out of the Rong Mansion, Su Ping smiled.
“Since some people are unwilling to split the family assets, that works out perfectly. We will continue to divide up the assets of Rong Xiao’s branch—that fifty percent share of Rong Guang Hospital.”
With that, the room fell completely silent. Some even secretly hoped that others would voice their dissatisfaction. That way, when those dissenters were stripped of their rights, the remaining people in the room would get a share of their assets too.
Finally, whether they were satisfied or not, the division of the Rong Family’s assets—a dispute that had dragged on for half a month without resolution—was concluded simply and effortlessly. Everyone dispersed, except for Rong Bao. However, it wasn’t just his grandfather Rong Bao; his uncle Rong Xia, his aunt Rong Qiu, and his cousins Rong Zhu and Rong Chan standing behind Rong Xia, had also stayed behind. They knew that for them, the real main event was just about to begin.
Su Ping glanced at these people—the ones he considered his true family. With a smile and a wave of his hand, his spiritual power surged, and the main doors of the hall swung shut once more.
This display caused the eyes of several people present to widen in shock.
“Emperor Level? Su Ping, you’ve advanced to Emperor Level?”
At this moment, they finally understood why the Holy Dragon was willing to do Su Ping such a huge favor. It wasn’t just because of his profound accomplishments in Breeding.
Su Ping didn’t mind their shock. Instead, he waved at his timid cousin Rong Chan. The little girl wasn’t afraid and walked straight into Su Ping’s embrace. He pinched his little cousin’s chubby cheeks.
“What does Chan’er want? Your cousin just gave all your family’s things away to others. Maybe even Chan’er’s future dowry.”
Rong Chan pouted. “Can you make the decision, cousin?”
Coming from a prominent Family, she already understood how things worked despite her young age.
The man opened his eyes and glanced at the little girl with a smile. “Your cousin gets to decide everything.”
This single sentence made everyone’s eyelids twitch. However, the little girl didn’t grasp the profound implications. Instead, she hopped right up to the man and pointed at the white cat in his arms. “Then I want this.”
The white cat opened its sleepy eyes and looked in confusion at the human little girl pointing at it.
Su Ping didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, but he quickly scolded, “Chan’er, don’t mess around. That is Lord Bai, a Legendary Level Bai Hu. It’s not a pet.”
Rong Chan blinked. Despite her young age, she understood the heavy weight of the word “Legendary.”
The Legend of the Holy Dragon, however, chuckled. “Little White is already my Pet Beast, so I really can’t give it to you. However, since you rarely ask for something, how about this? Once you undergo Awakening and gain the qualifications for a Contracted Beast, you can go to the Imperial Dragon City and contract a Dragon Pet. You have my word.”
As soon as he said this, Uncle Rong Xia’s eyes nearly popped out of his head. Rong Zhu, who was a bit older and more sensible, was completely stunned as well. He looked expectantly at the man, hoping to earn his favor just like his sister had. Unfortunately, after making that promise, the man said no more and simply closed his eyes again with a smile.
Su Ping cleared his throat and looked at Rong Bao. “Grandfather, I made the decision for you just now. You don’t blame me, do you?”
Rong Bao smiled. “What nonsense are you spouting, you brat? What kind of grandfather would blame his own grandson?”
The old man’s words were quite tactful.
Su Ping didn’t bother beating around the bush. He pulled out a special scroll and handed it directly to Rong Bao.
“This is…” Rong Bao took the scroll and looked at Su Ping in surprise.
Su Ping paused for a moment before speaking. “This is the Meditation Method legacy of the Five Poisons Saint Sovereign, Situ Feng. It’s called the Five Poisons Spirit Refining Meditation. It is a Meditation Method centered around Poison Type Pet Beasts, and its effects are extraordinary. Although I haven’t looked into it much, I figure it holds far greater value and significance for you, Grandfather.”
Sure enough, upon hearing this, Rong Bao’s pupils shrank, and he stared at the item in excitement.
Meditation Methods were, in fact, the absolute class barrier for true upper-echelon Beastmasters. They were absolute treasures that even ordinary Emperor Level Beastmasters didn’t possess. Unfortunately, Su Ping still hadn’t found a Meditation Method that suited him, though his natural meditation speed was so fast that he didn’t really need one anyway.
Nevertheless, this item was undoubtedly of extraordinary significance to the Rong Family. However, the real reason Su Ping had Rong Bao’s branch give up the Rong Family’s assets was obviously not just for this scroll. He had an even bigger bombshell to drop.
“Aside from this, my plan is for your branch to leave Beiyuan and relocate to Dianzang!”
Huh?
At these words, Rong Bao and his two children were stunned. Caught off guard, they looked at Su Ping in astonishment.
Move? Like their ancestors a thousand years ago, returning from Beiyuan to Dianzang?
At this moment, the Legend of the Holy Dragon opened his eyes, clearly understanding Su Ping’s intentions and plans.
Su Ping continued.
“Some time ago, on the border between the Dragon Nation and the Hundred Thousand Mountains, a brand-new fused Secret Realm appeared. Now, it has officially become the territory of our Dragon Nation!
“In the former small world, this land was extremely rich in spiritual power and energy, making it highly suitable for the survival of Plant System and Poison Insect Pet Beasts.
“Furthermore, its external area is massive. The Holy Dragon’s idea is to use it as a foundation to build a brand-new border city. At the same time, we will fully develop the potential of that land and serve as a supply station for any future situations. In the future, we will also negotiate with the Hundred Thousand Mountains to promote trade between the two regions.
“However, opening up that area requires not only a powerful force to stand guard but also someone to coordinate and manage the preparations.
“How about having you and Senior Snake Saint work together on this? Of course, you don’t need to worry about the resources for building the city. The Association and the Legion will allocate the necessary funds accordingly.
“However, for the facilities that the Rong Family will profit from directly, you will need to find your own solutions. The Legion and the Association will still provide support, but you will have to repay them later using your profits. No interest will be charged.”
This was the true bombshell Su Ping had prepared. And undoubtedly, the sheer magnitude of this revelation left his grandfather, Rong Bao, completely stunned and dizzy.
