Amidst the bamboo grove, the Wooden Panda clashed fiercely with its foe. Its heart was with its cub, and thus its focus was divided, failing to defeat the opponent swiftly.

When the person covering the retreat seized a chance to break free from the battle, he turned and retreated without hesitation, leaving only the Wooden Panda in the bamboo grove.

The Wooden Panda attempted to chase, but its average speed couldn’t catch up with the two men.

“Don’t worry, we’ll definitely find your child.” At this moment, Yang Yue’s sense of justice surged, proactively offering to help search for the cub.

Li Qing tugged at her sleeve, her lips slightly parted, and whispered, “Let’s plan this carefully.”

Yang Yue looked at Li Qing with righteousness: “Our teacher once said, if we students don’t dare to fight against pet beast poachers, ordinary Beastmasters would only stand by and do nothing.”

With each point Li Qing raised, Yang Yue’s gaze dimmed a bit, and after she finished, he sighed and said, “You make a good point.”

Seeing the pair standing still for a long time, the Leader of the Violent Cloud Sparrow flapped its wings to urge them.

Yang Yue continued, “Let’s have one return to Xuanhe Village to inform Advisor Chen about what’s happening here, while the other assists us in tracking the poachers’ trails.”

“We’ll simply follow the trail, keeping a safe distance, without rushing in to confront them.”

“When Advisor Chen arrives, we’ll catch those bastards together and rescue the captured Pet Beasts.”

“Moreover, if we don’t promptly detect the poachers’ trail, once they transport the Pet Beasts outside, the search difficulty will just increase.”

“So, we need to start acting now.”

After saying a string of words, Yang Yue looked eagerly at Li Qing, simultaneously holding her hands, gently swaying them.

Li Qing’s slender eyelashes softly flickered, and she stared deeply at Yang Yue for a while, her expression becoming increasingly peculiar.

After discussing for a moment, the pair decided to let the ordinary Violent Cloud Sparrow return to Xuanhe Village to notify, and the stronger Leader of the Violent Cloud Sparrow assist in tracking down the poachers’ trails.

Watching the Violent Cloud Sparrow flit across the bamboo forest, Yang Yue exhaled deeply and strode forward, “Let’s go, start moving.”

The Wooden Panda slumped on the ground, staring blankly as the pair quickly left the bamboo forest. After a long time, it suddenly got up and pursued the trail of the pair’s departure.

The maple forest was like fire, gingko shining like gold, and the scarlet of the dogwood dotted throughout, dyeing the entire mountain ridge like a colorful brocade.

The Leader of the Violent Cloud Sparrow soared high in the sky, its keen eyes scanning back and forth, searching for traces of other humans.

The Cloud Fox in Yang Yue’s arms jumped to the ground, its fluffy tail swaying gently, its vigilant gaze darting around.

The Scaly Green Snake suddenly shot out, burrowing into the dense foliage, weaving through the trees, flicking its icy tongue.

The Ripple Shadow Snake, carrying a natural chill, coiled around Li Qing’s right arm, sticking out its triangular head, its tail trembling lightly.

After walking for a long time, they encountered many wild Pet Beasts and even met other Beastmasters, yet found no trace of the poachers.

Yang Yue, breathless, bent down, “Phew, I’m tired, why haven’t we found anything yet?”

Li Qing’s expression was dispassionate, “If they were easily found, they wouldn’t be poachers.”
