Chapter 61 - 061: Peace treaty

The next day, after everything that had happened yesterday, Anaria woke up with her mates sleeping around her.

For some reason, she felt unusually excited.

Maybe it was because of the hormonal changes her body was going through, but whatever the reason was, she decided it was actually a good thing.

She quietly slipped out of bed and tiptoed toward the door, careful not to disturb her sleeping mates.

Once she was far enough from the bed, she quietly called out to the System.

[System, check me again.]

The System appeared and immediately scanned her.

[Host and baby are stable. No immediate problems detected. Host’s body remains intact.]

Anaria relaxed.

"Good."

She smiled before looking at the System again.

"Bring out all the rewards I’ve received. I want to check what I’ve already used and what I haven’t."

The System brought them out for her.

Anaria looked through them carefully, she took them first.

After that, she headed toward the bathing area to freshen up.

She wanted to take her time today.

Once she reached the bathing area, Anaria began using the beauty products she had received.

She brushed her teeth thoroughly, then washed her hair.

Afterward, she applied lotion over her body.

The lotion immediately left her skin feeling smooth and soft.

Anaria smiled.

Next, she took the glow-up supplement.

She knew it would gradually improve her appearance, and after taking it, she noticed that her skin looked a little lighter and brighter.

Then came the herbal scent.

She applied it carefully, and soon, a pleasant fragrance surrounded her.

After finishing everything, Anaria put on her clothes.

She walked toward the water and looked at her reflection.

For a moment, she simply stared.

Then she smiled at herself.

She had gotten better with time. Little by little, she was becoming prettier.

Satisfied, Anaria left the bathing area.

Meanwhile, her mates were already awake.

They had started looking around for her and had even asked the servants if they had seen her.

None of them had.

The three men were beginning to get worried.

Then Anaria appeared.

She walked toward them, looking confused by the expressions on their faces.

"What’s wrong with you guys?"

Before any of them could answer, one of the servants spotted Anaria approaching.

The servant pointed in her direction, mouth hanging open "Isn’t that our lady?"

The three men immediately turned around and froze.

Anaria looked fresher and more beautiful than she had the day before.

There was something different about her this morning, something they couldn’t quite understand.

As she came closer, the scent coming from her body reached them.

The three men looked completely stunned.

Anaria noticed their expressions and became even more confused.

She looked at Kai "What’s wrong?"

Kai stared at her.

"Is it me, or did she really get prettier this morning?"

Rylan swallowed hard.

Kenai was still staring at her, completely unable to form a proper sentence.

Everything about her seemed different.

Her clothes.

Her glowing skin.

Her fresh appearance.

And the tiny little tummy that showed beneath her clothes.

Rylan remained frozen until Anaria reached him and lightly touched him.

That finally brought him back to reality.

"Where were you?" he asked.

"I went to bathe," Anaria answered. "I didn’t want to disturb you, so I quietly left."

Rylan continued looking at her.

Anaria noticed.

A small smirk appeared on her face.

Now she understood.

She decided to have a little fun with it.

She looked between Rylan, Kai, and Kenai.

"Why are you all looking at me like that? Do I look bad?"

"No!"

The three of them answered at exactly the same time.

Anaria blinked.

Before they could say anything else, the servant standing nearby spoke.

"You look different, my lady."

Anaria smiled.

The moment he said it, the three mates turned toward the servant with jealous expressions.

Kenai immediately spoke.

"Get out."

The servant quickly bowed and left.

Anaria covered her smile.

"You three should go and freshen up too. I’m hungry now."

The three men nodded together.

"Yes!"

They hurried away almost immediately.

As they left, the System chimed.

[Host has successfully placed her mates into a state of shock.]

Anaria smiled.

"Thank you, System."

She was about to enter the residence when the System chimed again.

[Host has received a new task.]

Anaria stopped.

She looked tired already.

"Do you ever consider giving me a day off from all your problems?"

[Host did not ask for anything yesterday.]

Anaria opened her mouth.

Before she could respond, the System displayed the task.

[Task: Gain Household Favour.]

[Reward: Protection pill]

Anaria gasped "Why do I have to gain the servants’ favour?"

The System gave no further explanation.

[Host will soon know.]

Then it disappeared.

Anaria cursed quietly under her breath.

"This System..."

She shook her head before walking toward the dining area.

When she arrived, she sat down and waited for her mates while thinking about how she could complete the task.

Later, the three men arrived.

They sat down with her and began talking.

But Anaria noticed something.

They kept looking at her.

She sighed.

Rylan immediately noticed "What’s wrong?"

"You won’t understand."

Anaria sighed again.

Kenai took over.

"Talk to us. We can’t find a solution if you keep sighing."

Anaria looked at them with a slightly sad expression.

She looked from Kenai to Kai.

"I need something."

Kai immediately leaned forward.

"Tell me what you want. Is it food? I can go hunt it for you."

Anaria shook her head.

"It’s not food."

The three men looked at her.

"Then what is it?"

Anaria hesitated before finally saying,

"I want to establish a bond with the servants. I don’t really know them yet, and it would be strange if I didn’t at least get them to like me."

Kai answered without thinking "Who wouldn’t like you?"

The words came out louder than he intended.

Anaria paused and she smiled.

Rylan glanced at Kenai.

Kenai nodded "Since you want to do it, there is no problem. We can arrange something."

Anaria’s face brightened "Really? Thank you."

She smiled happily at all three of them before explaining what she thought would be suitable for their first meeting with the servants.

She considered several modern ideas, but there was nothing around that was similar to what she remembered.

So she finally looked at Kenai.

"First, gather the servants together. And bring clothes and food to one side. I’m going to use them."

Rylan, Kai, and Kenai all nodded.

Anaria smiled at her mates, already thinking about how she would complete the task.
