The morning after the destruction was nothing like the peaceful mornings.

The village looked wounded.

Several homes had been damaged badly during the berserk beastman’s rampage. Some wooden walls had collapsed completely, while others were left leaning dangerously to one side. Broken branches, scattered pieces of wood, and household belongings covered parts of the paths.

Villagers were already outside, trying to salvage whatever they could.

Anaria stood near the entrance of the chief’s residence, watching the activity.

Kenai was in the middle of it all.

He had barely stopped since morning.

Rylan and Kai were helping him assess the damage, moving between the different areas of the village and speaking with the beastmen responsible for the repairs. Supplies were being gathered, counted, and divided, but it was obvious from the expressions around them that there wasn’t enough.

Kenai stood over a pile of remaining building materials, his expression growing darker as another beastman gave him an update.

"That is all the wood we have left?" he asked.

"Yes, Chief."

Kenai looked toward the damaged homes, his jaw tightened.

Rylan came over after speaking with another group of villagers "We can repair some of the smaller houses with what we have, but there won’t be enough for all of them."

Kai nodded "And if we use everything now, we’ll have almost nothing left afterward."

Kenai didn’t answer immediately.

He looked across Ravenfall. Everyone was already working, but the damage was too much. Rebuilding would take time, and they couldn’t simply create more supplies.

Anaria watched him then she remembered the Building Packages.

She quickly returned inside and called up the system and then opened her inventory, she selected both packages.

A faint glow appeared in her hands.

She stared at them for a moment. She had wanted to save them for later, maybe to build a proper den for herself and the baby.

But Kenai needed them now.

Anaria carried them outside and dropped them "Kenai."

He turned and looked at her "You shouldn’t be standing for too long."

"I know." She pointed at the materials that she brought on the ground "Take these."

Kenai frowned. "What are they?"

"Material that might help solve some of your problems"

Rylan and Kai glanced over.

Anaria continued, "I was saving them for later, but you needs them more right now."

Kenai looked at the packages "But you wanted to use it."

"Don’t worry, I can figure something out later on."

He stared at her for a while before finally accepting them "I promise to find more suitable material for you later on."

Anaria smiled "It’s alright, don’t forget."

"I won’t."

Then the system chimmed.

[Host’s selfish act has increased Kenai’s affection]

[Kenai’s affection has increased by 5%.]

Anaria’s lips curved slightly "Wait, just because of this"

[Yes host]

"Interesting" Ananria said with a smile on her face

Kenai turned back toward the village "Let’s begin."

Rylan and Kai immediately returned to work.

The Materials were opened, and the reconstruction supplies inside them changed the entire situation.

For the first time that morning, Kenai looked like he had a solution instead of a problem.

Anaria watched as the three males divided the work. Kenai handled the larger decisions while Rylan and Kai directed the beastmen and organized the repairs.

There was still some tension between them, but with so much work to do, they had no time to argue.

They simply worked and for Anaria, that was enough.

By midday, Ravenfall was filled with movement.

Beastmen carried wood, repaired walls, replaced roofs, and reinforced damaged homes. The village was still damaged, but it no longer looked helpless.

Kenai remained at the center of everything, while Rylan and Kai oversaw different sections of the village. Whenever they needed a decision, they went to Kenai.

Anaria watched from a safe distance, sitting whenever her back began to ache.

By late afternoon, almost half the damaged homes had been repaired enough for the villagers to return their belongings.

Kenai eventually called everyone together.

Anaria stood slightly behind him as the villagers gathered.

"We have repaired almost half the damaged homes in a single day," Kenai said. "And we couldn’t have done it without the supplies, our lady provided."

He turned toward her.

"She had those supplies saved for herself, but she chose to give them to the village when we needed them."

The crowd went quiet, then an older female stepped forward.

"Lady Anaria helped us when she didn’t have to."

Another villager nodded.

"She gave up something for the village."

"She’s truly our queen."

Anaria’s eyebrows lifted "Our queen?" She tried not to look too pleased but she failed.

A smile spread across her face as she looked at the villagers.

For the first time, their eyes held genuine respect instead of their random suspicion.

Anaria folded her arms, trying to hide how proud she felt.

She didn’t know that this little act of kindness might result to all this .

Then system chimmed again..

Anaria’s eyes shifted slightly.

The System appeared before her.

[Host’s actions have produced multiple positive results.]

[Kenai’s affection increased #5.]

[Rylan’s affection increased #5.]

[Kai’s affection increased #5.]

[Village favorability increased.]

Anaria’s smile widened.

Apparently, giving away the Building Packages had been more useful than she expected.

She dismissed the panel and looked back at the villagers.

For once, the attention didn’t feel uncomfortable cause she had earned it.

The reconstruction continued into the evening, and by then, Anaria was exhausted.

She had barely reached the residence when

Ding!

The System appeared again.

[New Task Available!]

Anaria sighed "Already?"

[Task: Help the Injured Beast People]

Her expression changed. Several villagers had been injured during the destruction, and her herbal knowledge could help them, why didn’t she think of that since.

"Fine."

[Reward: Extra Building Package ×3]

[Penalty: Backlash in all affection increases.]

Anaria accepted the task and didn’t say much, she already knew where to begin.

Anaria spent the rest of the afternoon helping wherever she could.

The injured villagers had been gathered in one of the larger residences so they could be treated together. Most of the wounds weren’t life-threatening, but there were enough of them to keep everyone busy.

Anaria washed her hands before examining the first injured beastman.

"This cut needs to be cleaned properly."

She asked for warm water and a few herbs she already knew were useful for wounds. She crushed them carefully, mixing them into a simple paste before applying it.

The beastman flinched.

"Hold still."

He obeyed.

Anaria worked slowly, making sure the wound was properly cleaned before wrapping it.

She moved to the next person.

A female beastman had a bruised shoulder from falling beneath part of a damaged wall. Anaria examined it carefully, then used her soothing ability to ease the worst of the pain.

The female’s tense expression gradually relaxed.

"That feels much better."

Anaria nodded.

"Don’t put too much weight on it yet."

She continued from person to person.

She wasn’t able to magically erase every injury, nor did she try.

Some needed time while some needed rest.

Others needed herbs and proper bandaging.

Her soothing ability simply made the process easier, especially for those struggling with pain or fear.

By the time she finished, the injured villagers were stable and comfortable enough to rest.

Anaria sat back, finally allowing herself to relax.

The System had given her the task, but this time, Anaria barely cared about the reward.

She already knew what to do.

Her knowledge and abilities were useful, and seeing the injured villagers recover left her quietly satisfied.

By evening, she returned to the chief’s residence.

The moment she stepped inside, she stopped.

Baskets of fresh food, herbs, cloth, handmade items, and even gifts for the baby filled the room.

"What is all this?"

Kai glanced at the pile "Your gifts."

"My gifts?"

Rylan nodded. "The villagers brought them."

Anaria walked closer and peeked into a basket filled with fresh fruit. Another held dried meat, while bundles of herbs and woven cloth were stacked nearby.

"They gave me all this?"

"They said it was their thanks," Rylan said.

Anaria smiled.

She never knew that this blickering citizens actually had a soft heart and was able to gift her something.

"Well." She sat beside the pile. "I suppose being helpful has its benefits."

Kai laughed. "You’re enjoying this far too much."

"Of course I am."

She picked up another bundle "This is mine."

"You can’t possibly use all of that."

"I didn’t say I would use all of it." Anaria glanced at him. "I said it’s mine."

Rylan laughed quietly.

Kai shook his head. "You’re impossible."

Anaria smiled and continued sorting through her gifts.

Then the system reappeared again.

[Congratulations, Host.]

She looked at the panel.

[Task completed.]

Anaria smiled.

She had helped Ravenfall, her mates had worked together, and the villagers were finally accepting her.

Outside, the sounds of reconstruction continued, but they no longer sounded desperate.

She glanced at the gifts again, maybe giving up those Building Packages hadn’t been such a bad idea after all.
