“It actually ate the Vampire Bloodline?!” Brunhild gasped in surprise. A wave of relief washed over her as she processed the information. “Phew. So that’s why I didn’t turn into a Vampire but still gained some of their power instead.”

She paused to examine the new abilities more carefully. Living Blood… Piercing Blood… She remembered seeing similar skills on Vampire characters back when she played the game.

Living Blood made one’s own blood essentially “alive,” allowing the user to manipulate it freely within their body. It could accelerate blood flow to dramatically boost physical strength and speed, completely stop bleeding, and regenerate wounds at impressive speeds.

However, overuse would rapidly drain stamina, and it was possible to run out of blood entirely and die if pushed too far. Piercing Blood let the user concentrate their blood into a dense sphere and fire it in a straight line with incredible piercing power, capable of breaking through defenses to a certain extent.

Not bad at all, she thought. These abilities would work well with her current fighting style. But that wasn’t the only reward waiting for her.

She continued reading through the remaining notifications.

As Brunhild reviewed the long list of notifications, she also noticed that her Familiars now displayed their own individual levels. This appeared to be a newly unlocked system function. Freyja had once mentioned that she would grow and unlock new powers alongside Brunhild, so this change made perfect sense.

This Talent probably accelerates the growth of all Bloodline-related abilities and grants some form of dominance and natural authority over those of lesser rank within the bloodline… or something similar.”
