The old man didn’t reply to Li Xiandao right away. He took in a deep breath and said, “I am Liu Qingfeng and I’m 8,000 years old. As for my cultivation, I’ve reached Legend Realm.”

“I am not too sure as the next realm doesn’t belong to the Ten Lands and I would have to enter the Nine Skies. I haven’t entered, so I am not sure whether or not I have broken through.” Liu Qingfeng said slowly.

“But I have easily defeated all those stage 33 people who I have met which is why there is a high chance that I am above them.” Liu Qingfeng said seriously.

Li Xiandao listened on without saying a word.

Liu Qingfeng continued, “I don’t have any regrets at the moment but I have a wish that I hope the Bank of the Universe can help me with.”

“You knew about the Bank of the Universe from before?” Li Xiandao asked.

“I found it in a book left by a late expert. I thought that it was a joke and really didn’t expect it to be true.” Liu Qingfeng nodded, filled with disbelief.

Even with his current cultivation, he couldn’t help but feel amazed by the Bank of the Universe.

Li Xiandao was helpless. Yet another expert wrote about the Bank of the Universe before he died. He had faced another such person over in Dali Land.

The Bank of the Universe was mysterious in the eyes of normal people but if one wanted to investigate it, there were tracks to be found.

“So, what is your wish?” Li Xiandao asked calmly.

“I want to find some help to strengthen my sect’s defence!” Liu Qingfeng said.

“Strengthen your sect’s defense?” Li Xiandao was confused.

Wouldn’t it be simple for a stage 33 expert like himself to strengthen his own defense?

“Right, I have strengthened it several times but I am still unsatisfied with it.” Liu Qingfeng sighed.

Li Xiandao looked at him and asked curiously, “With you there, you still need to strengthen the defense?”

With an expert who exceeded stage 33 there to defend, who would dare to offend them?

“I want to fly up to the skies.” Liu Qingfeng sighed.

“I wanted to 1,000 years ago but the sect had tried their best to nurture me. They gave me all their resources and the other experts weren’t able to grow. I couldn’t abandon them, so I protected the sect for 1,000 years.” Liu Qingfeng explained.

Li Xiandao nodded.

“During these 1,000 years, I worked hard to develop disciples and managed to produce two Legend Realm ones. I also arranged for a stage 30 monster to defend the mountain. I also strengthened the formations of the sect several times.” Liu Qingfeng explained one by one.

“That is already quite decent.” Li Xiandao said. As long as the sect didn’t ask for trouble, they would definitely be able to last.

“But I tried. If someone wanted to attack the sect, all of these wouldn’t hold up to a simple blow.” Liu Qingfeng said solemnly.

Li Xiandao blinked. Big Brother, you are someone exceeding stage 33, so wouldn’t it be normal for those things to not be able to block you?

Liu Qingfeng continued, “I tried 9 times and it couldn’t stand a single strike. If I flew up and an enemy came, just someone at stage 33, my sect would be turned to dust.”

“As long as they cultivate properly, they won’t meet such a person.” Li Xiandao knew his reason for coming to the Bank of the Universe.

Liu Qingfeng was really worried. He felt like the moment he left, the sect would be destroyed right away.

“Yes I can, but it’ll depend on the price that you’re able and willing to pay?” Li Xiandao asked calmly and he was really confident.

He might not have been so confident in the past but now that Li Xiandao unlocked the Seal Mountain Peak, there were numerous seals on the mountain and many of them were defence seals.

Li Xiandao could learn them to help strengthen Liu Qingfeng’s sect.

If he spent a little effort, it wouldn’t be a problem to fend off Liu Qingfeng.

But all this would depend on the price that Liu Qingfeng could pay.

“What do you think you need to pay for formations that can defend against you?” Li Xiandao asked.

Liu Qingfeng thought about it and said, “I can give you god spirit meridians.”

Li Xiandao asked, “How many?”

Liu Qingfeng raised one finger.

“10,000?” Li Xiandao guessed.

“Right, 10,000 god spirit meridians, all of which are above average.” Liu Qingfeng nodded his head.

These are what I accumulated over 8,000 years. I have swept many places to get them.” Liu Qingfeng nodded his head.

“Swept?” Li Xiandao expression changed.

“Did you offend many people so once you ascend, you are afraid your sect can’t survive at all?” Li Xiandao guessed.

Liu Qingfeng gave an awkward laugh and waved his hands, “I was young and dumb. It has passed a long time ago and those people are still angry about it. I am so speechless.”

At this point, Li Xiandao knew why he was so stubborn about the defences.

If he didn’t strengthen it, then his sect was definitely getting wiped.

“10,000 god spirit meridians, you have a deal.” Although Li Xiandao knew the reason, he didn’t care. He just needed to get the god spirit meridians and he would help strengthen the defense.

“Sign the contract.” Li Xiandao told Seven to pass him a contract. In the Bank of the Universe, Seven was in charge of everything.

Seven walked in and passed the contract to Li Xiandao before standing aside.

Liu Qingfeng looked at Seven, filled with awe. He retracted his gaze and stared at the contract.

The contract stated really clearly that Li Xiandao would help strengthen Liu Qingfeng’s sect defense and it would reach its extreme. Then, Liu Qingfeng would pay the Bank of the Universe 10,000 god spirit meridians.

After confirming both sides, Liu Qingfeng signed.

“In three days, I will go to your sect to strengthen the defence. After that, you shall check it and if it passes you will then give me the god spirit meridian.” Li Xiandao took the contract and passed it to Seven.

Liu Qingfeng nodded and said with gratitude, “I will await your arrival.”

Li Xiandao watched as he left and then he said to Seven, “I am heading to Seal Mountain Peak and I don’t think I will be coming down in the next few days.”
