Back to the 80s: Raising my Wolfy Boyfriend
Chapter 1056: Never Tired of Your Cooking
Spread the fragrant chili evenly on the fish head, then steam it in the pot for another ten minutes.
After ten minutes, sprinkle some green onions on the chili fish head, drizzle with sesame oil, and it’s ready to be served.
The second dish, very tempting oil-braised prawns, fully captures color, aroma, and taste, a delicacy both Gu Jin and An Mingji love.
The third dish, sweet and sour pork.
This dish is sweet and sour, with a beautiful appearance that stimulates the appetite.
Next, stir-fried broccoli and mushrooms with greens.
These two dishes are crisp, made from purely green ingredients, easy and convenient to prepare.
Gu Jin also made corn ribs soup, which is very nutritious.
The fragrance of the corn, sweetness of the carrots, and savory flavor of the ribs quickly spread from the kitchen to the dining room.
While the corn ribs soup was simmering over high heat, Gu Jin made the final dish, steamed crab.
Take the crabs soaked in saltwater, rinse them clean, place them on a steaming tray with water, add scallions and ginger, cover with the lid, and after fifteen minutes they can be served.
When lunch was finished, it was already 1:30 PM.
An Mingji woke up right on cue, enticed by the aroma.
Before Gu Jin could go to the room to call him, he had already gotten up and headed for the dining room.
He had changed into a dark blue silk loungewear, which highlighted his relaxed yet striking appearance and presence.
Gu Jin noticed his hair still damp.
Clearly, he had just woken up and showered.
She smiled, "I thought you hadn’t woken up yet; I was just about to call you."
An Mingji sniffed the delicious aroma in the air, eyeing the dishes on the table behind her, his Adam’s apple slightly moved.
His charming eyes half-closed, exuding laziness and elegance, "I was lured by Ah Jin’s cooking."
Though they sounded like complaints, his words were clearly aimed to please Gu Jin.
Sure enough, the smile on Gu Jin’s face widened.
She stepped forward and guided the young man to sit at the dining table.
After setting the tableware, she sat beside An Mingji, propping her chin on her arm, her eyes sparkling with expectation: "It’s been a long time since I cooked; I might be a bit rusty. Try it and see if it’s good."
An Mingji obligingly picked up his chopsticks and took a piece of sweet and sour pork, the closest dish to him.
The meat tasted sweet and sour, very appetizing.
It opened up An Mingji’s appetite.
He gulped down the meat and took another bite.
After three helpings, his chopsticks moved to the oil-braised prawns.
The prawns, red and vibrant, looked very tempting, and their meat retained a delicious taste that left him wanting more.
Gu Jin watched him eat but heard no response.
She blinked and asked, "How is it? Not rusty, right?"
An Mingji glanced at her without speaking, but his hands continued reaching for the food.
This behavior spoke volumes.
Gu Jin squinted her eyes, "Seems like I haven’t gotten rusty."
An Mingji picked a piece of sweet and sour pork, bringing it to Gu Jin’s mouth, saying with a smile, "Ah Jin’s cooking, I could never get tired of it in my lifetime."
Gu Jin understood the underlying meaning in his words.
Without hesitation, she smiled and opened her mouth, eating the food brought to her lips.
This scene, in An Mingji’s eyes, made his gaze turn deep.
The more he watched, the more he felt a thirst.
He stared unblinkingly at Gu Jin’s chewing, as if frozen in place.
"Hurry and eat, it’ll taste bad once it gets cold."
Gu Jin, unaware of anything, urged him on.
"Mm."
An Mingji reluctantly shifted his gaze from her lips.
