Baby with Daoist Monarch System

Chapter 1130 - 513: Finger Beyond Dimensions_2

His remaining consciousness instinctively began to operate. It was a kind of instinct even unfamiliar to himself, as if imprinted in every smallest particle of his existence.

His broken body at this moment turned into a greedy vortex. The Divine Blood, which could make even an Immortal Emperor turn pale, upon contact with him, had the Dao Principles fragments of the "Cleaner" forcibly stripped away, crushed, and then transformed into the purest "nourishment" beginning to repair his riddled body.

This process was fraught with indescribable peril.

Xu Ran’s consciousness seemed to be dragged into the entire life of that "Cleaner". He saw cold data streams, saw each Cosmos created, operated, and then marked as "failed products" like codes. He saw the world behind the "Cleaner", an indescribable "high-dimensional matrix", a terrifying civilization that viewed all worlds as petri dishes and all living things as experimental data.

They had no emotions, no compassion. In their eyes, the birth and death of the Cosmos were like the launching and closing of a program, and the "Doomsday Dust" was like the command to format a hard drive.

"Sample... Gengchen Cosmos... illegal aggregation..."

Cold words flashed in Xu Ran’s mind, fragments of information parsed from the Divine Blood. He finally understood the cold number assigned to the Cosmos he was in within their archives. And he himself, this "Watcher" who struggled for several epochs, was merely a "sample" worthy of observation.

How ironic! How sad!

"What have you... taken life for!"

An unvoiced howl stirred stormy waves in the ocean of his consciousness. This anger transformed into the strongest fuel, accelerating his consumption and parsing of the Divine Blood.

He was not merely absorbing energy but "stealing" the enemy’s knowledge!

The principles of "cleaning", the structure of the Dao Principles for "eradication", the transmission methods of high-dimensional information... the secrets belonging to that super-dimensional civilization were being forcibly decoded, absorbed, and converted into his own.

His body began undergoing strange changes as it was watered by the Divine Blood.

The broken "Dao Bone" was reconnected, but a strange rainbow-colored halo attached itself to it. The withered flesh began to regrow, yet the newly formed body was no longer purely Dao Principles and Divine Gold, but mixed with an "extraneous quality" from beyond the Cosmos.

This body was no longer a pure "furnace of myriad Dao", resembling more a... monster pieced together from divine remains and his own shattered body!

"Divine Corpse Body..." Xu Ran defined his newly born form. It was filled with ominousness and strangeness yet also contained unprecedented potential. It allowed him to better understand the enemy, even... simulate the enemy’s power!

After an unknown amount of time passed, when the last drop of Divine Blood in this star domain was absorbed completely, Xu Ran slowly opened his eyes.

Those eyes were deeper than before. In his left eye, the birth and death of the Cosmos gained a trace of the cold data stream; in his right eye, the deathly silence of the end of all things bore a hint of high-dimensional cruelties that disregard everything.

He gently clenched his fist.

Crack!

The void around his palm shattered like a mirror. This was not mere power but an understanding of the rules of space, elevated to a new level—a level capable of "editing" and "deleting".

"Still too weak..." Xu Ran murmured.

Although the Divine Corpse Body was strangely powerful, it was ultimately a rootless tree. His source was still depleted. Additionally, absorbing the Divine Blood also meant he was marked deeper by that "high-dimensional matrix".

He could sense more terrifying "gazes" beyond the Cosmic membrane already beginning to slowly focus on him. The time left for him was not much.

"Must quickly reshape the true Sacred Body flesh and thoroughly convert this ’Divine Corpse’ power into my own!"

His gaze once again turned to the ancient star cloud undergoing "Great Collapse".

There, lay the "Chaos Energy" he needed, the most elemental material to forge Sacred Body flesh.

Without any hesitation, Xu Ran’s figure became a stream of light, merged into the void, and leapt towards the "wound" in the Cosmos.

...

The collapsing star cloud was the grindstone of the Cosmos.

The gravity of the supermassive black holes twisted spacetime here, shredding everything apart. Stars, galaxies, dust, light—everything was crushed and restored into the most original, chaotic energy form.

Here was the boiling sea of the Law, the graveyard of order.

Even if it were an Immortal Emperor stepping into this place, the pathways constructed within their body would be instantly smashed, assimilated by violent chaos energy, and ultimately devoured by the black hole.

However, when Xu Ran’s body arrived at the edge of this star cloud, what he felt was not destruction, but a kind of... "affection"?

"Chaos... the beginning of all things, yet also the end of all things. It actually bears some resemblance to the Dao of ’Desolation’."

He took a step forward and entered the energy storm capable of shredding an Immortal Emperor.

The raging Chaos Energy cut madly at his Divine Corpse Body like billions of Celestial Blades. Yet, the strange rainbow-colored halo flowing on his body surface actually "parsed" and "nullified" most of the chaos energy’s attacks.

His "Dao Bone" within emitted a rumbling sound, greedily absorbing the pure, unrefined elemental energy.

He walked within the storm of destruction as if on flat ground.

The deeper he went, the more severe the distortion of spacetime became. Here, there was no meaning to up, down, left, right, the past and future seemed intertwined. Xu Ran even saw countless shattered images, ancient giant beasts birthing within chaos, future stars prematurely extinguishing here.

Suddenly, he halted his steps.

Within the core region of this chaos and violence, he sensed a peculiar aura.

It wasn’t the violence of Chaos or the deathly silence of a black hole.

It was an aura of... sadness.

A grand sadness enough to drown the sea of stars, eternal and unchanging.

"There’s something else... here?"

Xu Ran’s brows slightly furrowed. His Divine Thought penetrated the layers of energy storm towards the source of that sadness.

Soon, he saw it.

At the edge of the event horizon of the supermassive black hole, in the ultimate place where even light couldn’t escape, a... ancient stone coffin actually floated!

The stone coffin of unknown material was entirely gray, covered with ancient chisel marks. It just floated quietly, subjected to the black hole’s terrifying gravitational pull, washed by the chaos energy’s frenzied assault, yet remained steadfast, as if independent from this spacetime.

The sorrow that moved even Xu Ran came emanating from this stone coffin.

"At the end of the epoch, the grave of the Cosmos, there is still such a coffin..." Xu Ran’s gaze turned solemn.

He could feel the age of this stone coffin far surpassed any epoch known to him. It didn’t belong to this Cosmos, nor to any "failed" Cosmos sample he knew.

It seemed as if... from before the "beginning" of everything.

Just as Xu Ran tried to further investigate, the stone coffin shook abruptly!

A magnificent will awoke within the stone coffin.

"Wooooo—"

A mournful lament echoed throughout the collapsing star cloud. It wasn’t a sound but a howl of will. Under this wailing, the boiling chaos energy instantly calmed, and the twisted spacetime seemed to be smoothed by an invisible hand.

Immediately after, a phantom slowly rose from the stone coffin.

It was a humanoid outline composed of endless starlight and sadness, towering billions of feet tall, seemingly to stretch across this world. It had no facial features, the face a blur of nebulae, but Xu Ran could clearly "see" two rows of "tears" composed of stars slowly sliding down from its eyes.

Each "tear" was enough to crush a star domain.
