Chapter 425: Mjurran’s Submission
Chapter 425: Chapter 388 – Mjurran’s Submission
“Oh? An outsider infiltrated the empire and got caught.”
After thoroughly examining whether the newly created bodies of the three Dryad sisters were flawless, Takumi returned to the real world.
[Ding! Treyni’s affection has reached the required level. Defeated and copied trait: Dryad (Purple)]
[Ding! Trya’s affection has reached the required level. Defeated and copied trait: Nature Affinity (Blue)]
[Ding! Doris’s affection has reached the required level. Defeated and copied trait: Tree Magic (Blue)]
Emerging from the Space-Time Realm, Takumi looked thoroughly refreshed, almost as though he had just enjoyed some exceptionally sweet fruit.
At the same time, he received the message sent by the Shadow Demon Corps.
Without hesitation, he tore open the void and returned to the Takum Empire in an instant.
When he entered Kagali’s office again, Albis and Suphia were sprawled across the sofa.
The two had passed out with their eyes rolled back, covered only by a blanket.
Kagali sat behind her desk as if she couldn’t even see them, steadily working through government affairs.
Even when Takumi returned, she merely raised her eyes slightly, her expression barely changing.
After spending so much time “getting promoted” while seated there, she had apparently come to understand Takumi’s personality quite well.
Seeing him come back, she immediately gestured toward the sofa.
“They’re over there. If you still have business, go deal with them. I can’t take any more.”
She was busy.
Takumi had just resurrected several million people, and Kagali was responsible for integrating all of them into the cities!
Food, water, sanitation, housing, and every other daily necessity for several million people had all fallen onto her shoulders.
If Kagali had ever watched Ming Dynasty in 1566, she probably would have shouted out one of the Little Grand Secretary’s famous lines right then and there.
Takumi naturally understood how much work Kagali had on her plate.
He dropped down between Albis and Suphia on the sofa and rubbed their heads.
“I’m pretty full today anyway. I came back to deal with the spy who infiltrated my country.”
“Special Investigator: Fall…?”
Kagali muttered the words almost unconsciously.
Black lines immediately covered Takumi’s face.
“What the hell have you been watching?!”
Kagali’s cheeks reddened slightly, and she guiltily turned her head aside.
“You’re the one who developed all this technology and filled it with that kind of stuff. I was just browsing around and happened to stumble across it.”
By the end, she sounded completely justified.
Takumi fell silent and decisively changed the subject.
After creating something like the “internet,” he obviously needed content to fill it with.
To save himself the trouble, he had simply connected it to the network of his original world and copied the data over wholesale.
Kagali, being exposed to this completely new thing, had started clicking around out of curiosity.
A few advertisements later, she had apparently wandered onto a road of no return.
While the two stared at each other in silence, the Shadow Demon Corps escorted Mjurran into Kagali’s office.
Thud!
Mjurran was forced to her knees.
She looked toward Takumi with despair in her heart.
Yet her previously dim eyes suddenly lit up slightly.
He’s so handsome!
If I’m going to be killed, being killed by a man like this somehow doesn’t seem so bad…
Such an absurd thought actually surfaced in Mjurran’s mind.
After all, for the first three hundred years of her life, she had lived alone in the forest, doing nothing but studying.
Later, she had been deceived by Demon Lord Clayman and turned into a majin under his control, leaving her with very little opportunity to interact with other men.
Rounding things off, she had basically been a shut-in for nearly four hundred years.
How was someone like that supposed to remain unaffected upon suddenly seeing a handsome man?
And Takumi’s body, enhanced by the [Authority of Beauty], was especially irresistible to women like her.
When their eyes met, Mjurran momentarily forgot the situation she was in and shyly lowered her head.
Takumi, meanwhile, took in her appearance from head to toe.
She had long teal-green hair tied into a ponytail at the back.
Her flawless, snow-white skin carried a healthy rosy tint, while her features were delicate and well proportioned.
Her blue eyes were as clear as lake water.
A conservative witch’s outfit wrapped around her entire body.
Even so, it outlined her graceful, slender figure perfectly.
She carried a youthful, elegant air somewhat similar to that of the Dryads.
Takumi made no effort to conceal his gaze.
The heat in his eyes caused an alluring blush to spread across Mjurran’s cheeks.
[Name: Mjurran]
[Level: A]
[Traits: Magic Caster (Purple), Witch Inheritance (Purple), Magic Genius (Blue), Magic Scholar (Blue)…]
[Witch Inheritance (Purple): You received the inheritance of a powerful witch and mastered the essence of everything she knew.]
Takumi briefly scanned her status.
It was decent enough.
Her direct combat ability wasn’t particularly impressive, but she was clearly talented in the field of magic.
Even if she couldn’t compare to Freyja, with proper development she would probably become an excellent logistical and support specialist.
While Takumi was appreciating her, Mjurran finally regained some of her composure.
Then she noticed Suphia and Albis lying beside him and immediately exclaimed in surprise.
“The Beast Kingdom’s Three Beastketeers… Why are they like this?!”
“They accepted me as their master.”
Takumi answered before meeting Mjurran’s gaze directly.
“I already know your background, Mjurran. You were originally a carefree witch, but because of Clayman’s schemes, you became a majin under his control and lost your freedom.”
“I am the ruler of this nation—the Takumi you were sent here to investigate.”
“Now I can give you an opportunity.”
“Switch sides and serve me as your master.”
“I can treat you well and grant you far more freedom.”
“I won’t restrict your movements the way Clayman does. At most…”
Smack! Smack!
As he spoke, Takumi gave Suphia, the white-tiger girl lying beside him, two slaps.
“Mmnh~~”
Suphia let out a soft murmur but still didn’t wake up.
Seeing this, Mjurran’s cheeks turned completely crimson, and a faint mist seemed to gather in her beautiful eyes.
Biting her pink lower lip, she looked at Takumi hesitantly.
What made her hesitate wasn’t what might happen to her personally.
If Takumi did something to her, Mjurran felt she wouldn’t exactly be losing out.
She had been single for centuries, after all.
She was a witch, not an ascetic.
There was no particular taboo for her in that regard.
What truly concerned Mjurran was the secret technique Clayman had placed on her: [Heart of Domination].
Clayman’s curse was engraved directly onto her heart.
The instant he activated the technique, she would die immediately.
But did she even have another choice?
Either way, death was hanging over her head.
And she had already had enough of living without freedom!
After several seconds of hesitation, the balance in Mjurran’s heart finally tipped toward Takumi.
Even disregarding the natural attraction she felt toward him, her current situation left her with no real reason to refuse.
If she refused, she would certainly die.
If she accepted, she might still have a chance to survive.
“Takumi-sama, I’m willing to serve you as my master.”
“I don’t ask for much. I only hope you can remove the curse engraved on my heart.”
Mjurran looked at him sincerely and explained her situation without holding anything back.
“Hahaha~ I like that attitude.”
“As for the curse, that’s a trivial matter.”
The moment his words fell, Takumi flicked a finger.
A dazzling streak of light instantly shot forward.
Pshhk!!!
Mjurran’s heart was shattered in an instant, leaving a clearly visible hole straight through her torso.
Yet in the very next moment, the horrifying wound began healing at incredible speed.
Her heart regenerated.
Her flesh closed back together.
Even the witch’s outfit she had been wearing was restored to its original state.
“Huh!? Just now—ah?!”
Only then did Mjurran process what had happened.
She stared in horror as she grabbed at her heavy chest.
The full curves and soft elasticity made it seem as though everything that had just happened had been nothing more than an illusion.
But when she turned and looked behind her, the fragments of flesh still scattered across the floor made the truth perfectly clear…
