Chapter 251 +1 Million Attributes, God of Destiny Blessing Perks
“Alright,” Alex muttered to himself, slapping his cheeks to focus.
Seven glowing panels floated around him, each radiating an overwhelming sense of power.
His heart pounded in his chest, but he forced himself to stay calm.
“Let’s do this.”
He reached for the first panel, his finger trembling slightly as he tapped it.
Ding!
[+1 million to all attributes.]
“…”
Alex froze, staring at the screen. He blinked once. Then twice.
“Are you serious?” he whispered, his voice almost a squeak.
It had taken him nearly a year of endless grinding to push some of his attributes to 100,000, and now, in an instant, every single stat had skyrocketed by a million.
It felt unreal.
“So this is what it means to be a Chosen One…” Alex muttered, shaking his head in disbelief.
His fingers curled into fists.
He’d known the Chosen Ones were on a completely different level from anybody else, but this was ridiculous.
No wonder they were said to be the strongest beings under the gods.
As the shock wore off, unease crept in.
If his strength had grown this much, how terrifying were the other Chosen Ones?
He shook the thought away.
No point worrying about them now.
Taking a deep breath, Alex reached for the next panel.
Ding!
[You have unlocked the Chosen of Destiny talent (SSS).]
“Alright.”
[This talent gives you access to five unique and overpowered effects.]
[1. Eyes of Truth]
[2. Threads of Fate]
[3. Destiny Shift]
[4. Fated Cataclysm]
[5. World Cleaver]
Alex’s lips parted as he read through the list, his heart skipping a beat.
These weren’t just abilities; they sounded like the stuff of legends.
“Wow,” he breathed.
The descriptions hadn’t appeared yet, but even the names made his blood race.
He was about to check the details when—
“These bastards are annoying.”
A deep, amused voice cut through the air, and Alex turned to see a familiar figure stepping out of a swirling portal.
Kaelios, the God of Destiny, smirked at him, his golden eyes glowing faintly.
“Oh, you’re up, human,” Kaelios said casually, brushing nonexistent dust off his robes.
“Yeah, just finished reading about these new abilities,” Alex replied, gesturing to the floating panels. “Though I haven’t actually checked how they work yet.”
“Perfect timing.”
Before Alex could react, Kaelios vanished from where he stood, reappearing directly in front of him in a blur of motion.
“We’re going to test them out,” Kaelios declared, his grin widening. “Your training starts… NOW!”
Without waiting for a response, Kaelios snapped his fingers.
“I’m going to create a clone that has the exact same powers and strength as you,” he explained, his tone far too cheerful for Alex’s liking, “Your job is simple: defeat it. Oh, and I might throw in a few of my abilities for fun.”
The air shimmered as a humanoid figure formed beside Kaelios.
It was made of pure light at first but quickly solidified, taking on Kaelios’s exact appearance, right down to the cocky smirk.
“A clone of your strength,” Kaelios chuckled, “but with my face. Fitting, don’t you think?”
“So my goal is to beat that thing?” Alex asked, his gaze flickering between the god and the clone.
“Yep!” Kaelios nodded, clearly enjoying himself.
“And what happens if I don’t?”
Kaelios’s grin turned wicked.
“Then you don’t leave until you do. I can’t have my Chosen One running around recklessly, can I?”
“Shit.” Alex grimaced.
He couldn’t afford to get stuck here.
The [Dragon Bloodline Trial] was only a few days away, and missing it wasn’t an option.
He had roughly seven days to defeat the clone and master his new powers, or he’d lose his shot at claiming the dragon bloodline.
“Alright,” Alex muttered, steeling himself. “Start the timer.”
Kaelios snapped his fingers again, and a massive golden countdown appeared in the sky above them.
[6 days 23 hours 59 minutes…]
“Good luck,” Kaelios said, clapping his hands, “Let’s see what you’ve got. Even I don’t know how strong you’ll be, it depends on the god. Some Chosen Ones get only a few abilities, but they’re insanely overpowered. Others get more but at a lower intensity.”
“I got five abilities,” Alex said, his eyes locked on the clone.
Kaelios blinked, genuinely surprised, “Five? That’s… incredible.”
Alex didn’t respond.
He was already focused, his mind racing.
The more affinity one had with their god, then the more essence they absorbed during the transfer.
The more they absorbed, the stronger and greater the amount of abilities they would get.
“The previous record was 4 at the start, you beat it, human, I knew my eyes weren’t wrong!”
“…” Alex didn’t say anything.
All that was on his mind was to master these things and discover what he could do with them.
With his newly enhanced stats, even monsters in the level 1300–1400 range shouldn’t be a problem anymore.
But this wasn’t just a monster.
This was a mirror of his own strength, paired with the cunning of a god.
It was all up to him and his determination.
“The fight starts… NOW!”
Before Alex could even think about a plan, the clone lunged at him.
“Wait, I didn’t even have time to read the descriptions—”
BAM!
The clone’s fist smashed into Alex’s face before he could finish his sentence.
[You have died.]
Alex’s vision went dark for a split second before he was abruptly revived, the world snapping back into focus.
He stumbled slightly, disoriented.
If you died in the domain of the [God of Destiny], you were automatically revived there.
“Act fast!” Kaelios called out, laughing. “You don’t get time to strategize in a real fight!”
“Shit,” Alex muttered, summoning his [Bleeding Claws] and bracing himself.
This time, he managed to block the clone’s next attack, their blows colliding with a deafening crack.
The two figures clashed violently, exchanging blows at a speed that blurred their movements.
Alex dodged a strike, countered with a sweep of his claws, and rolled away to avoid a counterattack.
But then—
Fwish!
The clone’s eyes glowed white, and its movements became eerily precise.
No matter what Alex tried, the clone dodged every attack with ease, its strikes landing with brutal efficiency.
Fwish! BOOM!
[You have died.]
Once again, Alex was revived instantly.
“Your movements are clumsy,” Kaelios commented, shaking his head. “You’re wasting energy on unnecessary actions. Be better.”

Alex gritted his teeth, frustration bubbling in his chest.
He’d fought countless enemies and survived countless battles.
He’d thought of himself as a skilled fighter, but now it felt like he was back to square one.
Taking a deep breath, Alex quickly opened his panel, skimming through the description of his first new ability.
