Chapter 246 - A Date With Lucy (b)
"We have something important to do, so we will leave you guys to enjoy the hot spring by yourself." Theo lied through his teeth. Actually, he was just trying to let Elliot spend some time alone with Lucy. As mischievous as John was, he wanted to accompany them and become the third wall. Of course, Theo wasn't going to let him.
"I don't remember having anything important to do!" John shouted, but it was already too late. They were already far, far away from the hot spring.
Lucy, Elliot, and the horrifying nightmare didn't think too about it. It didn't matter whether they were lying or not. They decided to head towards the warm water. Grace knew that the sacrifice Lord Theo made was going to the sewers if she and the little nightmare didn't split up with their lord and his potential wife. So, she grabbed the horrifying nightmare and dragged him away with her.
"Ah, where did Grace and little nightmare go?"
Only after a while did Lucy and Elliot realize that their spirit beasts were missing. Something seemed to click in his mind, and he realized that they were trying to let him have a date with Lucy.
"It's a safe place, and there is no one here except for a bunch of robots and us. So nothing wrong is going to happen to them." Elliot said, "You know how they had been acting after coming here, not different than curious kids. They probably went to explore on their own."
Lucy's worries died down, and they walked towards the hot spring. There was a still silence between them. Both of them said not a word to break the ice. However, they were thinking about a lot of things. Lucy felt as if she was going on a date with Elliot. And thinking that they would soon be sharing the same bath caused her to blush. Was she ready to show him her body? Well, she didn't consider her body as something precious, so she didn't mind. Still, she was worried about whether he would like her muscular figure or not.
Elliot also thought that he had a date with Lucy. As a man, he made the first move and held her hand. She didn't decline and didn't try to free her hands from his grip. To his surprise, he found her cold and slender fingers wrapping around his palm. Just like that, they reached their destination hand in hand.
The hot spring had two sections, one for males and one for females. Lucy saw that and realized that she was worrying for no reason. She said her goodbyes to him and ran away. Only then did Elliot click his tongue in disappointment.
"Sorry guys, I let you all down." He muttered, a sad look on his face. His friends and family had sacrificed so much for him, but he failed to advance his relationship with Lucy to third place. The boards shattered. It was all because of them that he was now unable to entice and seduce Lucy into sleeping with him.
With a disappointed look, he entered the hot spring. He didn't necessarily need water to clean himself. He could use his supernatural ability to do so and even change his scent to something attractive and even make it poisonous if he wanted to. Still, he soaked in the warm water for fifteen minutes. It was relaxing, and that's what he needed the most right now. He was on an adrenaline rush for the past week, and the water helped him return to peace.
An evil flashed across his eyes, and he came out of the spring. Like a pervert, he made a hole in the bamboo wall separating the hot spring into two sides. Using that hole, he peeped at the voluptuous figure of Lucy. Although mist was obstructing him from witnessing her jugs, valley, and peach, he still managed to determine her three sizes. Her skin was white and seemed soft. Water dripped down from her neck and vanished into the road between her breasts, the front of which Elliot couldn't see.
"This much is enough for today."
Elliot moved away. He didn't want to alert Lucy as that would be too embarrassing.
A day later, Theo showed them the last two areas.
"The market area is divided into four sections. You can purchase groceries and novice-grade items in the first section. Intermediate-grade items such as talismans, weapons, and pills are on sale at the second one. You can use spirit points to buy items from the shop. Grocery items are the cheapest, and intermediate-grade weapon sets are the most expensive items you can find in the first two places. The further you head inside of the market section, the better the things you will find that's the way this place is designed."
"What about the third and the fourth section?" Elliot asked.
The market section was made up of four stones floating in a straight line. Each of them was the size of a modern world shopping mall. The way to head from one place to another was to either stand on the teleportation circle and pay one spirit point or take the bridge that connected them.
John hurriedly said, "Only the Members of the resistance can access the third and the fourth one."
Elliot blinked his eyes, understanding something.
"May I ask something?" Lucy said.
Before Theo could say a word, John replied, "Feel free to talk with us casually."
"What do we need to do to join the resistance?" She asked.
"You will find out after meeting the queen." He replied.
After purchasing some delicious stuff with nourishing qualities, they walked towards the second section. As they were here to window shop and hang out, they didn't waste their spirit point on the teleportation circle. They took the bridge and reached the more advanced section of the market area.
Artifacts that many families would store in their treasure trove or hide in their ancestral hall as if they were something more significant than their lives were placed on the shelf and in weapon racks.
