Slaughter!

A crazed and cruel slaughter.

Everyone rushed up like they had gone mad in order to stop their foe.

The Xuanyuan Sword’s purging light chilled the world, and the Immortal Executing Fist’s blasts terrorized the cosmos.

On the sixth floor of the Heavenly Dao Tower, even the countless overlapping subspaces were infiltrated by the sword and fist energy. If they were all unfolded, one would be able to see all the myriad domains being devastated by their might.

The grandeur and immensity were impossible to imagine. From a certain perspective, this power had gone beyond Space, gone beyond the universe, truly “transcending” everything.

But the two who had accomplished it, Tang Jie and Yu Cheng, were not interested in trying to confirm this.

They were lashing out in a frenzy, desperately pushing forward.

Godhead Universal had died, Reverend Minghong had died, the Past Life Buddha had died, the Ancient Stellar Devil had died, Godhead Guangfa had died, Wu Antian had died, the Illusory Demoness had died…

Such names would have had any domain trembling in fear, but they were all dying, one by one. No matter how powerful they had been in life, the moment they died in this place, all their glory and splendor ceased to exist.

Yu Cheng and Tang Jie both wanted to kill their interlopers a little faster, but when it came to speed, Yu Cheng clearly had the upper hand.

The reasoning was very simple. Those trying to stop Tang Jie had all regained their strength as Gold or Saint Immortals, while of those trying to stop Yu Cheng, only the guardians possessed their true strength. Just when the sword energy was about to reach him, it suddenly slowed down.

It slowed down for no reason at all—or, to be more precise, the space around it had slowed down. And then Lord Lion-Camel disappeared, reappearing far on the other end of the dimension, resulting in the Xuanyuan Sword slicing through nothing.

“Wang Yao!” Yu Cheng cursed.

Other than the four Saint Immortal guards, Wang Yao was perhaps the one who had given him the most trouble on the sixth floor. His Daos of Space and Time were unaffected, allowing him to rescue his subordinates again and again. But Yu Cheng was well aware that Wang Yao couldn’t keep using his Dao Arts forever. Just now, Wang Yao had momentarily grown weaker as he rescued Lord Lion-Camel.

This was a weakening of the Divine Soul, and there was no hiding it from Yu Cheng. With a laugh, he swung the Xuanyuan Sword, sending a wave of sword energy slicing at Wang Yao. Wang Yao hastily retreated while pushing his Dao of Spacetime to the limit, but in order to kill him, Yu Cheng was even willing to weaken his Dao Unity Realm and respond with his own Spacetime Dao Arts to counter it. Thus, no matter how much Wang Yao tried to flee across space, Yu Cheng was always right behind him. The power of Time meant that he had been slowed to a crawl, the Xuanyuan Sword along with him, but it was still getting closer and closer to Wang Yao.

Seeing this, Wang Yao despaired. When Yu Cheng was determined to kill him, not even a master of Spacetime could escape.

At this moment, Tang Jie’s voice entered his ear: “Take my sword!”

A power flowed into Wang Yao, and he was guided by the energy to reach into the air. Seizing upon something, he pulled hard, revealing a dazzling golden sword.

The Sovereign Blade!

As the Xuanyuan Sword drew close, Wang Yao raised the Sovereign Blade to block.

Wang Yao was sent flying, his sturdy body covered in wounds, but he was alive.

The shimmering Sovereign Blade was completely unharmed, but the Xuanyuan Sword now had a small dent. A moment later, the dent repaired itself, but Yu Cheng knew that when it came to sharpness, the Xuanyuan Sword was inferior to the Sovereign Blade.

Scowling, he cursed, “Li Jiuyang!”

He couldn’t beat him, and even his treasure had bested him. How could he possibly accept this?

Suddenly, the Martial Lord moved.

He looked at Wang Yao and reached out, and before Wang Yao could react, the Sovereign Blade flew into Li Jiuyang’s hand.

Clang! The Sovereign Blade trilled in joy. The Great Dao was resonating in joy, having finally found its former master.

There finally seemed to be a little light in Li Jiuyang’s dull eyes.

He gazed at Yu Cheng and the Xuanyuan Sword in his hand.

Yu Cheng inwardly groaned.

He hastily retreated.

At the same time, Li Jiuyang swung his sword, which transformed mid-air into an axe, its sword energy transforming into axe energy, all of it happening so naturally that this strike had both the ceaseless grandiosity of the sword and the invincible majesty of the axe.

Yu Cheng and Li Jiuyang separated, Yu Cheng’s body shifting between destruction and rejuvenation, doing so eighteen times before finally stopping. This meant that the axe strike had actually taken his life eighteen times. But in the Dao Unity Realm, this could not truly kill him.

Li Jiuyang’s body also bore many wounds, each one glowing with the light of the Great Dao. With his body covered with so many wounds, he became entirely covered in Dao Runes.

Behind her, Li Jiuyang had unleashed another berserk blow.

This was the axe that had shattered the Court of Myriad Domains. Nobody could stand against it.

There was another terrifying collision.

“NO!” Immortal Ji Yao shrieked, taking to the skies.

As the shockwave neared, she attempted to use her Dao of Space to escape, but the light of the Dao Unity Realm flashed, slowing her down. At that moment, the shockwave overtook her…

Another one slain!

The clash between Yu Cheng and Li Jiuyang was so fierce that even the aftershocks could be used to slay those left alive.

On the other side, Tang Jie was in his own mad slaughter.

Li Jiuyang was the last line of defense, but he knew that Li Jiuyang could never be a match for Yu Cheng.

This was the Sage Mother’s Divine Soul. She was the sprite of a lotus flower who had taken human form, but now her true form was exposed.

The World Devourer Fist roared over, and the roots were severed, upon which the ethereal lotus withered.

The Sage Mother had fallen!

Tang Jie punched again, this time at the Western Heaven Buddha Ancestor.

Chanting rose up as a golden halo appeared behind the Buddha’s head, radiating the light of protection.

This was the Buddha Ancestor’s Guardian Aura, a sacred and grandiose light that defended against all.

The World Devourer Fist heedlessly barreled forward, blasting through all obstructions, black holes forming and devouring all until it had finally pushed through the Buddha Ancestor’s Guardian Aura.

Time seemed to freeze.

A few moments later.

Crack!

There was a shattering sound.

A fissure had appeared in the sacred golden light of the Buddha Ancestor.

More and more fissures appeared, densely covering that golden wall.

The wall dissolved into fragments of brilliant light.

The Budda Ancestor chanted, his entire body lighting up in gold.

He descended to the ground and then set down, the sky resounding with mantras as ethereal petals fell.

The Buddha Ancestor’s head fell.

He had died in meditation.

The remaining Buddhas all mourned, chanting, “The Buddha Ancestor has gone.”

Even the Nine Disaster Fiend Monk in the distance was moved, a confused look on his face as if he seemed to realize something.

This was his last thought.

The battle between Yu Cheng and Li Jiuyang had been brought to him, and another shockwave roared toward him…
