The moment the Heavenly Tribulation ended, the world fell silent, as if time had stopped.

Tang Jie stood tall in the heavens.

His body was battered and scorched, drenched in blood, covered in wounds that not even a True Immortal could easily heal. But Tang Jie did not act the part of a heavily wounded person.

Putting his hands behind his back, he calmly gazed at Libido.

Libido’s heart went cold when he saw Tang Jie.

His arrogant demeanor instantly vanished, and he began to furtively retreat.

Tang Jie shook his head. “You missed out on your best chance, and the moment is no longer yours.”

With a wave of his hand, he dispersed the black tide with a light gust.

Countless demon soldiers wailed and died, and even the high-tier devils were no exception. This light breeze had blown away their very souls.

After this Heavenly Tribulation, Tang Jie had once again grown stronger.

Libido said in shock, “Tang Jie, you might have endured the Heavenly Tribulation, but you’re heavily wounded. There’s no benefit for you to keep fighting!”

His fierce words were tinged with terror.

As the World Devourer bloomed, it began to devour the demons below like a ravenous beast. With one strike, tens of thousands of demons died.

The humans began to cheer.

Countless cheers rose and fell, shaking the heavens and striking fear into the hearts of the demons.

The savage and powerful demons of Primordial Fog finally knew fear.

The devils began to shout, “Retreat! Retreat!”

“Trying to run?” Tang Jie unleashed another World Devourer, this time at the Shadow Nagas in the distance.

Even the powerful Shadow Nagas were obliterated by the World Devourer, and a large hole was instantly punched through their tough defenses. Yuan Tianfeng and Shi Xinchan immediately seized this opportunity and used their strongest moves.

Yuan Tianfeng threw out a pair of giant black scissors while Shi Xinchan unleashed a mountain-sized scorpion.

The black scissors were known as the Dark Serpent Scissors, and they had originally been a divine treasure. When the Rosecloud Domain had set out on the path of the stars, in one of the cultivator wars, Yuan Tianfeng had encountered two mutant dark serpents that had been born with Dao souls. After great effort, he managed to kill the serpents and refine their souls into the scissors. Then, thanks to the impressive forging abilities of the Seven Absolutions Sect, the scissors were tempered into a Dao armament after sixty years.

As for the scorpion, it was also very special. It was a fiend beast that Shi Xinchan had bought from the Beast Refining Gate. It had cultivated to Soul Projection, but because of the world level, it had never been able to break through. Shi Xinchan had tended to it well, and on the path of the stars, both he and the scorpion had become Immortals. Shi Xichan then gathered numerous rare resources and combined them into a treasure rich in the Great Dao, which he then inserted into the scorpion, turning it into a living Dao armament. For this purpose, Shi Xinchan had even requested Tang Jie’s help. Tang Jie had found Shi Xinchan’s idea very interesting and unconventional and had given his aid, and after more than a hundred years of refining, the project was completed. In Tang Jie’s honor, Shi Xinchan had named it the Moon Worship Scorpion.

The Dark Serpent Scissors transformed into two serpents, both wreathed in black flames, and wherever they went, the demons were turned to ash.

The Moon Worship Scorpion flourished its tail, which became like a dragon, letting out a terrifying howl before plunging in through the gap and spewing out toxic gas which melted all the demons it touched.

Behind the Shadow Nagas were the Violet Djinns.

Originally very powerful in their own right, they were now pathetically weak after giving their energy to Libido, so the two serpents and one scorpion immediately began to massacre them.

Ninety thousand Violet Djinns, if still combat-capable, would have been a tough nut to crack, even if several Rosecloud Domain Immortals had attacked. But now that they were drained, they could not put up an effective defense.

Without an effective defense, even the strongest existence would die at a touch, and besides, the Violet Djinns weren’t demons famed for their tenacity.

The combined attacks of serpents and scorpion had the Violet Djinns dying in great swaths.

The two serpents were not as damaging. Despite their Dao souls and their possession of primordial Fire energy, their attacks ultimately had physical form. But the toxic gas of the scorpion was invisible and widespread. The moment the scorpion appeared, a large region was covered by its toxin.

Belonging to the Dao of Destruction, this toxin sought to obliterate all things.

The Violet Djinns died on contact with this poison. Finally, the Shadow Nagas recovered and filled the gap, and several high-tier devils desperately came to the aid of the Violet Djinns, forcing back the Moon Worship Scorpion and Dark Serpent Scissors. But in that period, nearly half of the ninety thousand Violet Djinns had died.

As he bellowed, an idol appeared in the demon fortress in the rear: a giant of purple bronze holding a fire basin. Despite having one head, this giant had four faces, each facing a different direction. It had two hands, one hand holding the fire basin while the other held a sword.

This was the demons’ guardian formation.

Previously, the demons had been attacking while the humans had been defending, so the demons had not activated their guardian formation.

But now, the roles had reversed, the humans attacking while the demons defended, so it was naturally time to activate the formation.

The fire basin in the statue’s hand let off a violet light that expanded into a dome, covering a large area of demon territory.

All the demons within this dome of light now had an additional barrier around them. This barrier could be combined with the barriers of others and was in addition to any barriers they could cast on their own. It wasn’t a particularly strong barrier, but it was extremely flexible.

At the same time, the purple giant raised the sword in its hand and chopped it at the humans.

The fire basin was for defense and the sword was for offense!

Even when it came to defensive formations, the demons retained their intensely aggressive nature!

A black wave of light shot toward Yun Tianlan.

Yun Tianlan threw up a barrier of light, and the two energies collided in a tremendous explosion. While the sword wave was pushed back, Yun Tianlan still let out a cry as a terrible wound appeared on his body. While not mortal, it was still a serious injury.

The formation’s presence instantly stabilized the state of the demon army.

Libido looked in the direction Tang Jie was pointing and froze in shock!
