Ascension of the Sylvan Cosmos

Chapter 936: Chapter 936. Reactions and Time Alone.
The day after the public execution, the internet was burning with images, videos, and much other information about the event. The Golden Sap Empire had shown it was ruthless in war and other situations.
Nevertheless, they had never really used excessive force during conquest or other similar events. Therefore, the people’s view of the Golden Sap Empire was slightly distorted by an excessively positive image.
When a known ruthless empire did ruthless things, no one really batted an eye. They could condemn them, but everyone "knew" that was just how they behaved.
But when a "kind" empire did something ruthless, everyone would jump to condemn them and point fingers without hesitation. Sadly, people often found it easier to condemn the kind when they acted ruthlessly than to confront those who had never shown them kindness in the first place.
It was not because they had a scheming mindset either.
It was just that you felt safer criticizing those who are good than criticizing those who commit evil. Another good example is dealing with a wild animal versus a domesticated one.
Either way, many individuals with large followings began condemning the government and other authorities. Did it affect anything?
Not really.
The Golden Sap Empire was an Arborarchy. At the very top sat an involved World Tree and those it pointed at. The general population had zero involvement in matters of authority.
So, Flor decided to invite several reporters from all around into a large auditorium and have a conversation. Her stance remained firm, even when reporters threw questions at her meant to paint her in a bad light.
They asked if the treatment was too inhumane? Flor answered that it was what they deserved.
They said that making a public show was too ruthless? Flor answered that it was necessary to remind people that the Golden Sap Empire had not grown with smiles and flowers, but through blood and sacrifice.
She answered without any intention of twisting her words to make the population happy, stating the facts and their attitude as they were.
Of course, some people protested. As long as it was peaceful, every single individual had the right to do so.
Flor did one thing only. "Ignatia, send a few of our babies to watch the protest."
Ignatia laughed and did as Flor told her.
When the relatively large groups arrived at the gathering point, they noticed that the Lignified Houses and edges of the street were swarming with ants. The ants didn’t do anything but glance their way with their compound, insectoid eyes.
Their silent pressure was enough to drain their voices of energy, even if only subconsciously.
Later, people online would have a humorous discussion about whether more protestors or ants were watching them.
Liu Shu watched everything from her Core Room, with her lovers sitting around her. They wore loose robes and snuggled together, with Liu Shu at the center.
Our girl glanced around and blinked. ’They’ve become more... clingy? Not that I hate it. Hehe. This is nice.’
She leaned back, burying her head between Obsidianis’s breasts. Obsidianis stopped watching the three large screens showing different scenes and glanced down, her lips curling into a smile. "Are you in the mood again? Come here."
Before Liu Shu could deny it, Obsidianis lifted her by the waist and lowered her, aiming in a certain direction. Liu Shu bit her lip to swallow a moan as her inner flesh was parted by Obsidianis’s thick pillar.
Cinderielle looked up and rolled her eyes. "Hey, can’t you stop for a while, Obsidianis? Also, wasn’t it my turn next?"
Obsidianis hugged Liu Shu from behind and moved while smiling at Cinderielle. "Too bad. Liu Shu was rubbing against me, so clearly, she wanted it."
Liu Shu wanted to answer, but if she opened her mouth, only moans would flow out. So, she decided to behave like a boat bearing a storm, her eyes rolling up in pleasure.
The rest of the Sylvans soon became aroused, and for the next few hours, Liu Shu was buried in their flesh and had a great time.
After a while...
"Ha... Ha..." Liu Shu licked her lips, grabbed one of the fruits rolling around them, and bit into it. "Mmm~. Delicious. Also, I can fill a hundred fruit baskets at this point. Aren’t you girls tired?"
Seraphina answered, her body unmoving and her voice languid. "Not as much as before. Our new <Temples> are really strong."
’...Was there an effect on sexual stamina among them?’
Liu Shu didn’t know that after what happened, the girls had gained a monstrous boost to their ability to manipulate their hidden <Chaos> energy. While their System numbers hadn’t really changed much, their strength was qualitatively superior to before.
Using the traces of <Chaos> within them increased their stamina, strength, ternary essence manipulation, and much more by default.
Even their <Energy Cycle Completion> increased to an average of 92-94%. For reference, elites had 88 to 89%. 90% was in the realm of World Trees for most.
Verdantia grunted and rolled over, her voluptuous body covering Liu Shu’s petite one. She captured her lips, placing her plump thigh over Liu Shu’s legs and sticking close. "Don’t overthink it. Little Change’s blessing is just really good for us and our Sylvan children. Knowing that is more than enough."
Liu Shu stuck out her tongue playfully, licked Verdantia’s lips, and laughed. "Okay. I won’t pry. I wonder if you will tell me someday what you are hiding?"
Verdantia used her finger to put her long, green hair behind her ear and smiled. Her gaze as she looked down was loving and pampering. "We will. I promise. Now..." Verdantia pushed her waist forward, and Liu Shu felt her hardness.
Verdantia lowered her tone, her hair blooming with flowers once more. "Open your legs, love."
Liu Shu was pressed beneath Verdantia’s voluptuous body, and her legs began to bounce as her voice rang like a singing bird.

Flor looked at the calendar and felt her eyebrow twitch. ’Alright. I did tell them to take their time. I admit I didn’t specify until when they could be away... However.’
"It’s been seven months! I even heard that Liu Shu has given birth to one, and the next one is on the way already!"
Ignatia burst into laughter, picking her pretty fairy and burying her between her voluptuous breasts. "Let them be. Honestly, their relationship was becoming a touch... too stale lately."
Flor blinked, and her body relaxed. Honestly, if it wasn’t considered slightly too indecent, she would prefer to be buried here constantly. "Hm... stale?"
Ignatia specified. "It isn’t that they were losing feelings for each other. Those six would probably spontaneously explode before that could ever happen. However, the girls have been pouring tremendous effort into their government jobs. So, they could only fit their time with Liu Shu into their schedules and meet at very specific times."
Flor realized. "Ah. I know. It wasn’t: I meet you because I wanted to see you. It was: I meet you because I can’t meet you at any other time."
Ignatia turned Flor around and lay on a nearby sofa, looking down at her petite Fairy with a seductive smile. "Exactly. So, let them be together. Their deputies are doing great even during this slightly busier time. It shows that the people they’ve raised were not there to fill numbers, but perfectly able individuals."
Flor blinked and closed her eyes. Ignatia lowered her head, captured her lips, and used her tongue to fill Flor’s mouth completely. Flor moaned gently, her pressed wings buzzing in delight.
Knock. Knock.
Flor grimaced and looked toward the door with a touch of resentment. Ignatia laughed softly and traced the middle section of Flor’s wings with her fingers. That was an incredibly sensitive spot for Fairies, where their nerves gathered.
Flor’s back arched as Ignatia whispered in her ear. "I will make sure to pollinate you later. It’s been a while since you gave birth to new seeds, hasn’t it?"
Blushing up to her ears, Flor gently pushed Ignatia off her and cleared her throat, flying toward her seat. "Ugh... Can’t you say those things later? No. You know what? Attend them yourself! I am not doing it!"
Ignatia laughed as she saw Flor sitting on a guest seat at the side, opening the net browser to see some videos. "Sure. Sure. As the lady says. Enter."
The one who entered was a fairy with almost transparent skin. She was a Space Aether Mana fairy. "Lady Flor... Oh! Lady Ignatia, this is something rather urgent, so I came personally to deliver it."
Her teal-colored eyes shifted once toward Flor, but she didn’t comment on Flor’s reddish ears. Ignatia picked the documents and scanned them in less than ten seconds. "I see. <Astraelis> activity is still on the climb. Is it because we’ve been messing with the dimensional layers that we’ve been noticed? Or is it Liu Shu’s presence that caught their attention?"
Ignatia suddenly blinked and glanced at Flor. "Hey, love. Should we send a few of those Astraelis toward the Nexus?"
Flor answered without looking. "If you want to become a pariah of the interstellar community and make enemies of everyone, sure, go ahead."
Ignatia’s antennae twitched as she smiled at the fairy. "It seems that my thinking was a little rushed."
The fairy secretly wiped her sweat. "Y-Yeah. I also believe so."
’It is these comments that remind me Lady Ignatia is a Humanoid Ant Queen with little empathy for anything outside her sphere.’
Her recommendation was not as simple as screwing over the Nexus. It was a suggestion to completely massacre all life there and even feed the Hive to get rid of an opponent.
Ruthless couldn’t even begin to describe the packed suggestion in that one sentence.
"Hm... Well, what do we do then?"
Flor sighed and flew over. Her face had cooled down already, so she was more presentable. After scanning the documents, she commented. "Share the information with the leaders of these thirteen departments and tell them to cooperate."
The Spatial fairy nodded. "Understood."
Then, she popped like a bubble, teleporting somewhere. Ignatia glanced at Flor and laughed. "You are the number one when it comes to deflecting work."
"That’s my role." Flor shrugged. "My knowledge has long since become unable to keep up. Nevertheless, I know what each branch does. I’ve memorized everything and built a mental map. So, I can effectively order people around even when I know almost nothing."
Ignatia nodded. "I see. We are quite similar in that regard."
Flor laughed. "I actually learned from how you move your colony. As the sole queen of hundreds of billions of ants, you can control them through an almost perfect leadership system only ants can do."
Ignatia puffed out her chest. "Of course. My babies are very obedient, after all."
"Too obedient." Flor leaned back. "Ant society is quite scary from an outsider’s perspective. Everyone falls into one role and gives everything they have to it. Truly, you are like a machine that uses each cog to the maximum efficiency."
Ignatia nodded and smiled. "Anyway. Work’s done, right? Come with me. Time to make babies~."
So, Flor was snatched into Ignatia’s nest for the next three days. The Town Hall had to take over a few documents until Flor came back, refreshed and satisfied.
