Ascension Of The Blood Supreme
Chapter 262. Static
A very dense amount of bloodlust suffocated everyone.
Even the legendary Rank 3 warriors felt extremely suffocated. They were currently shaking and struggling to stand.
Triga himself had a very white expression on his face. His face was full of fear as he held his chest.
Bloodlust could not kill, but it could intimidate others. Bloodlust was always synonymous with the amount of lives one had claimed.
Just who was this bloodlust from, which had completely intimidated and suffocated everyone?
The other legendary Rank 3 warriors felt the same.
As for the beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert Rank 3 warriors, they could not even stand.
All of them were currently on the floor.
Expressions of fear were on their faces.
Who the hell did this bloodlust belong to?
What sort of monster was it?
How could bloodlust be so thick and terrifying?
Suddenly, the legendary Rank 3 warriors at the place released their bloodlust together.
Like a wave, their bloodlust rolled forward together and crashed into the thick, suffocating bloodlust.
However, the thick, suffocating bloodlust overcame their own.
"Who the hell is behind this bloodlust?"
"How is this even possible?"
"Even our combined bloodlust accumulated from years of killing as legendary Rank 3 warriors cannot overcome it?"
"Is it some old senior?"
The legendary Rank 3 warriors, including Triga, were afraid and flabbergasted at the same time.
"Look, those guys are standing?"
"How is it possible?"
"The bloodlust is not directed towards them!"
"So the person they were waiting for was a terrifying person?"
"Shit... that must be the person with the thick, suffocating bloodlust!"
Everyone looked at Arica and the others.
Unlike everyone being crushed under the weight of the thick, suffocating bloodlust, they were completely calm. Each of them had retracted their bloodlust completely, and they were just staring at the thousands of Rank 3 warriors with calm expressions on their faces.
Of course, they knew who this thick bloodlust belonged to. It belonged to Aiden.
Suddenly, just as the Rank 3 warriors gathered there were wondering who the bloodlust belonged to, someone arced from the skies.
He had some sort of crimson wings on his back. His eyes were crimson, and he was clad in a T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers.
The crimson-winged person landed in front of Arica and the others.
"Sorry I caused you guys trouble," Aiden said to them warmly.
"No worries. All that matters is you are here," Brandy said.
Everyone else, still struggling under Aiden’s suffocating bloodlust, saw his face.
"Wait... this person... why does he look familiar..."
"He’s the one behind this dense, monstrous bloodlust?"
"He looks strangely familiar. I just can’t put my finger on it."
"Damn it. When will he retract his bloodlust?"
People whispered among themselves.
Suddenly, Triga widened his eyes.
"It’s... Aiden Vhorn?" he blurted out loud.
Boom...
This was when the image on TV and that of the person conversing with the group of 12 overlapped.
The Ghost Strategist.
The Crimson Reaper.
The Madman. Ranked 4999 on the Tyrant Fate Rankings.
A terrifying person whose schemes could even destroy four ancient reclusive sects led by legendary Rank 4 warriors.
This was the person the group of 12 had been waiting for?
"Only someone like that can have this level of bloodlust."
"Indeed."
"He has killed more people than I have killed in my lifetime."
"He looks so young and normal, but he’s a madman underneath that polite exterior."
"That scares me more than someone who tries to intimidate people."
Whispers spread across the place.
Triga was static. He could not move.
He knew what happened to people who targeted Aiden Vhorn’s loved ones. The Ghost Machination was a perfect lesson to everyone in Endra.
Aiden looked at Triga calmly.
Suddenly, Aiden’s thick, suffocating bloodlust disappeared.
Everyone could finally breathe and move.
They all looked at the Crimson Reaper in fear and moved away from Aiden’s group. None of them wanted to die.
"He actually didn’t use some mysterious way to kill us all?"
"He didn’t use some sort of poison to get rid of us?"
"I heard rumors that he could use his mind to kill people on the Kahra Desert."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah, some dude called Dickinson was interviewed recently and he was saying it."
"Mr. Vhorn, apologies for being rude to your friends," Triga said as he shook in fear. He was a legendary Rank 3 warrior. He had a strong political backing as a high-tier member of the Warriors Association HQ in the Serma Empire.
But the man before him was a madman who was unpredictably dangerous.
He also had the backing of Armstrong Lee.
The third strongest person on the planet.
Even if Aiden himself didn’t act, just a single word from Aiden Vhorn would ruin his life and career. The weight Aiden Vhorn’s name carried at the moment was unimaginable.
No one wanted to offend him without a justifiable reason.
"It’s fine. Apologies for being late," Aiden replied. "Can we leave now?"
A glint of confusion flashed through the eyes of Triga and several warriors.
"What the hell is he planning? This guy... he can kill when smiling? Is he cooking up some scheme to get rid of us later? Or is he being genuinely sincere and letting the matter pass?"
Several people thought.
One could never know what Aiden Vhorn was thinking.
The legendary Rank 3 warriors from the Serma Empire Warriors Association HQ nodded towards Triga.
"Since Mr. Vhorn is here, let’s depart as soon as possible."
"Yeah. Let’s leave."
"There’s no need to keep everyone, especially Mr. Vhorn, waiting."
Triga nodded.
"Alright, it’s time to leave."
The other warriors realized how shocking the situation was.
A few moments ago, these legendary Rank 3 warriors were throwing their weight around.
But now, they were speaking in fear and adhering to the request of a beginner Rank 3 warrior.
Of course, that beginner Rank 3 warrior was an anomaly, so the warriors understood why the legendary Rank 3 warriors were acting this way.
His cultivation power was not what made him extremely dangerous. It was his tactical and scheming acumen. One wouldn’t know when he was even controlling your perception, decisions, and actions. Offending someone like that was more dangerous than anything.
Apart from that, his name carried serious weight because of his feats, and he was the disciple of Armstrong Lee. Who in their right mind would offend someone like that?
"Everyone, we are leaving. Kindly put on your battlesuits. We may encounter some threats along the way to the entrance to the ruins," Triga said.
