Tang Shaoyang was surprised that Vandir could spot the strongest one among the cultivators. The skeleton was not here when he did the massive Detection, yet he could pick up which one was the strongest.
“You call him back in the right time,” Zara let out a small laugh as she noticed that all cultivators were angered by Vandir’s unintentional provocation. He clearly didn’t mean to mock them. That was his instinct kicking in.
“Just for this one, I will give him the right to choose first,” Zara did not mind Vandir getting the strongest opponent.
“You can have her, Vandir. I am curious what you can make from a cultivator.” Avyn also let the skeleton have his target.
“You can have her if you agree not to fight in your domain, because I want to watch the fight,” Tang Shaoyang regretted giving up the fight because he wanted to fight the woman himself. However, he did not mind watching the fight as well.
For once in a while, he could control his impulse to fight a strong opponent. He had an anticipation and excitement when he found out the woman was the 8th Stage True God Realm. But he controlled his impulse and let Vandir have her.

The lion-masked man responded with a level higher pitch, but otherwise, he remained calm and collected.

Vandir was amused; his clacking noise, along with his laughter, echoed in the air.
“And before you come to such a conclusion that we are being surrounded, you should look around who is being surrounded!”
As soon as Vandir said that, a black-red beam shot through from afar. The beam was targeting the lion-masked man.
The lion-masked man sensed the danger from behind. He did not know how he could feel such danger that might threaten his life when his allies were behind him. He thought there might be a traitor in their group, but regardless of what it was, the lion-masked man made his move, trusting his instinct.
The lion-masked man moved to the right, and the beam hit the area below his left shoulder instead of his chest. The beam left a three-centimeter hole in that area.
He grunted in pain as the searing pain assaulted him, and when he turned around, he realized that everyone also looked back. The lion-masked man realized it was not a traitor, but something else targeting his life.
They were all looking around, trying to find who tried to kill the lion-masked man. However, the one who shot the beam was just far out of their range.
The culprit was Keeper the Infernal Gunslinger, the second in charge of the Skelly Family. Using his long-range Infernal Gun, he tried to snipe the lion-masked man. Vandir noticed it first, and the 8th Stage True God Realm also noticed it, but it was too late to help her people.
Not only did she notice the beam, but she also found who shot it, while most of his people could not find the culprit. She thought of taking care of the shooter, but she realized that they were being surrounded.
All the spirits spread out and surrounded the cultivators. Not just from the ground, but also from above. She could not tell how strong these creatures were, but her instinct told her that these creatures might be as strong as the Emperor Realm or maybe stronger.
They still outnumbered their target, but with so many creatures, they might be able to buy some time until the two remaining Executive Administrators came. After receiving the new information about the two Executive Administrators in this place, she decided to lead the team herself to secure the mission. However, it seemed like they underestimated the new Executive Administrator as well.
“Cancel the plan. We need to leave this place immediately!” She made the decision that surprised her own people.
It was the safest choice since she did not want to lose more than what they already lost. Especially with the skeleton that could shoot from such a far distance. This was like a trap set up for them, but she knew they were coming at the worst time.
The lion-masked man could not believe what he heard, but again, she was the leader. He wanted to refute and tell her that the wound was not that big of a deal until he realized that his wound was healing very slowly, even after he took a healing pill.
They took a scroll; twenty people used twenty scrolls. They tried to leave the same way they came. Their reaction genuinely surprised Tang Shaoyang, but of course, Vandir would not let his prey leave.
“Stop them, Zara!” The Death King raised his voice with an urgency in his tone. He clearly did not want to lose his prey.
Before Vandir shouted, Zara had already made her move. Ten portals collapsed instantly, but it took her longer to take down the remaining portals, which resulted in half of the cultivators escaping.
The 8th Stage True God Realm Cultivator did something that maintained the ten portals for forty seconds, which gave half of them a chance to escape, including the lion-masked man. However, the highest-ranked cultivator remained here instead of fleeing.
She stayed behind to maintain the portal, which ended up in this situation. Out of ten True God Realms, only four people stayed behind. These four people seemed to be the woman’s loyal followers, not to leave her behind, despite having the chance to leave her.
“You guys might have the chance if you all fight together, but you have lost that chance with half of you gone,” Vandir sounded excited, “But it’s not a problem. This would make things easier for me since half of the obstacles are gone.”
The Death King then summoned the undead Tang Shaoyang, who was already in the transformation mode. The similar appearance made the cultivators look at Tang Shaoyang for a moment. The obvious difference was the color of the scales and the wings as well.
Tang Shaoyang’s wing was made of flame, lacking physical form. It was not the black flame, but it was the dark-violet flame. The change was thanks to Artrus, who attempted to take over his body, which resulted in evolving his race to be Tangu. He inherited Artrus’s blue flame, which merged with his black flame, becoming the dark-violet colored flame.
Tang Shaoyang took out his battle axe [World Destroyer], and his best sword [Azure Dragon Blade], “Ask your undead which weapon he wants to use, Vandir! I can lead him to one of my weapons. Your crappy sword would not be able to hold on against her.”
Vandir’s black flame flickered crazier, and he seemed to be communicating with the undead, “Both! Can you lend both of them?”
“Nope, just one! One or none.”
After hearing that answer, Vandir laughed. It was as if he was hearing something funny, “Then lend me your axe, Boss.”
Tang Shaoyang tossed his battle axe and asked, “Why are you laughing? Is there something funny?”
“Your undead version wants to fight you to fight for the weapons. If he wins, you must give him both weapons permanently.”
That was why Vandir laughed because Tang Shaoyang wanted to fight Tang Shaoyang. His undead desired the weapon the moment he landed his eyes on the two weapons. It was like a natural instinct.
“Then put his wager. Put something of equal value to my sword and axe, then we can schedule the fight.”

Vandir was about to order his creation to fight until they heard the screams. He looked up and saw four cultivators lose their heads to the same beam. Keeper decided to take his second chance. Only four fell because the 8 Stage True God Realm cultivator blocked the remaining six beams with her sword.
She could feel something ominous from the beam and how strong it was. If she were not careful, she might die in one shot as well.
