For the next three days, after the different bases heard about Ivy’s offer, most of them agreed to the deal. Hence, they kept sending monster cores to Erick, who would then delivers them to Ivy.

Even Antelope Base made sure to deliver the necessary cores Ivy required before they could receive their evolution liquid despite how hard it was.

Antelope made sure he spent most of his days fighting monsters just so he could obtain monster cores and exchange for Ivy evolution liquid.

Despite the huge price, he didn’t mind. At least he’ll get to drink the evolution liquid and evolve, grown stronger even though he couldn’t sell it as he had planned.

"Here! Another batch of crystal cores." Erick announced as he climbed down from the truck with several boxes containing crystal cores. He carried them over to the table in Hope base compound and dropped them there before stretching his aching back with a long sigh.

"You’ve officially turned into a delivery man." Darren couldn’t help but tease, followed by a light chuckle.

Erick frowned at him before turning his gaze toward Ivy, who was practicing in the snow.

After consuming the psychic monster crystal core used in formulating an evolution liquid which Antelope had sent the other day, Ivy’s mental power had greatly increased. She could feel the difference deep in her bones. Her scanning range had expanded considerably, while her teleportation skill had also improved by leaps and bounds, leaving a wide smile of satisfaction permanently clinging to her face.

"Perfect!" Ivy murmured under her breath, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

She could now scan a considerable distance simply by standing at Hope Base. Even from where she was, she could see everything clearly...the people, the monsters, and the surrounding environment just as if she were standing at the exact location herself.

And her teleportation skill?

It had already far exceeded Elliot’s.

Ivy had spent the past few hours repeatedly practicing it, testing exactly how far she could teleport and how accurately she could arrive at her desired destination. With every attempt, she could feel herself becoming more proficient.

"You’re incredible!" Darren, who was seated beneath an umbrella while watching Ivy practice her teleportation skill, couldn’t help but praise her.

She would appear behind him without warning, disappear before he could even turn around, and then reappear several meters away before vanishing again.

"Yeah! You have a teleportation skill now, too." Erick chuckled as he watched Ivy disappear once more. "If I had an ability like that, I wouldn’t have to drive the truck all the way from Fierce Hunter Base to here. I wouldn’t have to face monsters along the way either."

"Thank you, Darren. And thank you, too, Commander Erick." Ivy smiled as she disappeared again.

A moment later, she finally appeared right in front of the two men after what seemed like the hundredth time. A small black sack was in her hand. She casually placed it in front of Darren before dusting the snow from her clothes.

"And what are these?" Darren raised an eyebrow, curiosity flashing in his eyes as he glanced at the sack. Erick also leaned forward slightly, equally interested.

"Evolution liquid to be distributed?" Erick asked, his gaze fixed on the black sack.

"They’re water-type cores, and I’m distributing them to you." Ivy answered calmly.

Darren’s expression immediately changed. He swallowed hard as he stared at the sack.

Water-type cores were extremely valuable, especially now that the different bases were desperately trying to improve the strength of their evolved soldiers.

"You’re giving these to us?" Darren asked, almost as though he couldn’t believe what he had just heard.

"Yes." Ivy nodded.

She didn’t make a big deal out of it. To her, the cores were simply another resource she could distribute to strengthen the people around her.

"Anyway, we’re going on a mission soon. A very important one." Ivy’s expression became slightly more serious as she spoke.

"What mission is that?" Darren immediately raised an eyebrow.

He quickly pulled the black sack closer and carefully tucked the water-type cores into his own bag, making sure they were properly secured before turning his attention back to Ivy.

"I know you already told me that we’re going on a mission soon, but you haven’t discussed the full details with me yet." His expression became more serious. "So, what exactly are we going to do?"

"Yes. We’re leaving with Commander Erick. There’s a mission that will be taking place in Southern Clothing City." Ivy explained.

Darren exchanged glances with Erick, who simply nodded his head in response.

"I’ve already told Elliot how to manage the base since he’s not following us. He’ll look after the base together with Mr. Smith instead." Ivy continued, seriousness etched into her tone.

Darren’s expression changed slightly as he listened to Ivy.

The fact that she already trusted Elliot enough to hand the management of the base over to him while they were going away was somewhat surprising to Darren. After everything they had been through, he knew that managing an entire base wasn’t something Ivy would take lightly.

But then again, Darren knew he couldn’t question Ivy.

Whatever decision she made was always for the good of the base, and he believed this decision she had made was the best one for them at the moment.
