Antelope couldn’t help but lower his head in shame, unable to meet her eyes while the other base leaders weren’t much better.

Earlier, they had mocked her and doubted her yet the very woman they had looked down upon had become the one who saved every single one of them.

"So... she’s the one who saved me..." Anya swallowed hard, unable to tear her gaze away from Ivy’s composed figure.

The memories of last night replayed in her mind as everything finally made sense.

Since every monster had been eliminated, the survivors gradually assembled outside the warehouse. The atmosphere was completely different from before. Gone were the arrogant expressions and loud arguments that had filled the area earlier. Now, every face was lowered in shame, and no one dared to meet Ivy’s gaze.

Deep down, they all knew that none of them have the right to demand even a single bag of grain.

During the battle, they had contributed almost nothing and if Ivy choose to stand back and watch every one of them die before eliminating the monsters herself, no one could have blamed her. She would have been fully entitled to claim every single grain stored inside the warehouse.

The thought only made their shame deepen.

Meanwhile, more survivors continued carrying heavy sacks of grain out of the warehouse one after another, carefully stacking them into neat piles.

"Alright," Ivy announced, a gentle smile resting on her lips as she looked around at everyone. "We’ll begin distributing the grains now."

The crowd immediately became silent and just then, Antelope slowly raised his hand.

The movement instantly attracted everyone’s attention as every pair of eyes turned toward him.

"Yes?" Ivy asked politely, arching an eyebrow while maintaining her pleasant smile. "What’s the matter, Captain Raymond?"

Antelope cleared his throat before speaking.

"I have a suggestion."

"Oh?" Ivy replied, genuine curiosity flickering across her face. "Let’s hear it."

"I think the Fierce Hunter Base should receive thirty percent of the grains," Antelope began confidently. "Your base should also receive thirty percent. As for my base, we should receive thirty percent as well since I brought a large number of soldiers to support this mission. The remaining four bases can each receive ten percent."

Several people nodded instinctively before quickly remembering how the battle had actually unfolded.

Ivy tilted her head slightly before letting out a faint scoff.

"You brought a lot of soldiers..." she repeated slowly. Then her lips curled into a small smile. "Soldiers who ended up being completely useless?"

The words landed like a slap across Antelope’s face, his expression stiffened instantly, anger flashed through his eyes while his fists clenched tightly at his sides until his knuckles turned white.

"I see..." Ivy murmured calmly before shifting her attention away from him. She then turned toward the other base leaders. "Well," she continued, folding her arms casually, "Commander Antelope has made a suggestion. Before making any decisions, I’d like to hear everyone else’s opinion."

She glanced around the gathering.

"Are you all satisfied with receiving ten percent each?"

The leaders exchanged uncertain looks before one of them stepped forward.

"The decision is entirely yours, Captain Ivy."

"That’s right!"

"We’ll accept whatever you decide to give us."

"And if you choose not to give us anything..." another leader said with a bitter smile, "...we’ll still respect your decision."

"After all," someone else added quietly, "our lives were already saved by you."

The remaining leaders nodded in agreement.

A faint smile appeared on Ivy’s face. "Very well." She paused deliberately before speaking again. "The other four bases will each receive ten percent of the grains, just as Commander Antelope suggested."

The announcement immediately caused satisfaction to appear on Antelope’s face, a smug smile slowly spread across his lips.

"Thirty percent of the grains," Ivy continued calmly, "will be allocated to the Fierce Hunter Base." She turned toward Erick before giving him a respectful bow. "Commander Erick, thank you for organizing this mission and inviting everyone to participate. Without your efforts, none of us would have found this warehouse."

Erick blinked in surprise before nodding awkwardly.

Ivy simply smiled back as she clasped her hands behind her back, her attention now fixed on the remaining base leaders.

"The two hundred bags of grain Commander Erick promised me earlier will first be handed over to me and only after those two hundred bags have been collected will the official distribution begin."

Antelope’s smile widened as he waited patiently for Ivy to annouce his base percent.

Just then, Ivy slowly turned to face him, her smile remained warm.

"The remaining grains..." she said calmly. She paused long enough for everyone to hold their breath."...belong to me."

Every survivor froze while Antelope’s satisfied smile disappeared instantly.

"What...?"

His eyes widened so much they looked ready to pop out of their sockets while yhe other base leaders stared at Ivy in complete disbelief.
