Apocalypse Rebirth: Making Billions With My Fortune-Telling Skill
Chapter 283: I Could Put You Through Sex Education
April shook her head without a single second of hesitation. "No. It feels like a heavy weight was lifted off my chest. I felt so excited... like I was craving more than I ever knew I was capable of wanting."
A small, almost gullible smile curved the corners of her lips as she openly narrated the evening to him—how she had let Nat and Xavier kiss her, how exhilarating and intense it felt, and how completely unsatisfied her body was afterward.
She spoke of how she tried to keep fairness and somewhat rotated the kisses among the three of them. She laughed. She spoke so freely, so transparently, knowing without a doubt that Samuel would never judge or criticize her.
"My body was craving more," April continued, her eyes gleaming with raw, unhinged sincerity. "So, I decided I was going to take the next step. The ’advanced lesson’... sex. But it’s quite a disappointment that I suddenly got my period. I was really looking forward to having sex with them."
Samuel stared at her flushed, innocent face, taking in the genuine satisfaction and eager anticipation written across her features. Seeing her this happy and liberated filled him with a quiet peace—if she was satisfied, then everything was as it should be.
Yet, deep within the dark, hidden corners of his chest, a sharp, suffocating ache bloomed.
Samuel retained his polite, flawless smile, burying the bitter ache so deep no one would ever see it.
April leaned over the marble island, her dark eyes looking at him with utter, unfiltered curiosity.
"By the way, Samuel, I’ve been yapping on and on and forgot that I wanted to ask you something else..." April lowered her voice into a conspiratorial whisper, and he leaned over to listen. "Did you ever have sex with Mei when she was on her period?"
Samuel blinked, completely thrown off balance by the sheer, unblinking directness of her question. His composure wavered for a second, his eyes widening before he carefully lowered his coffee mug back onto the counter.
Why on earth would she ask something like that about his ex? He stared at her, genuinely wondering if she had actually intended to—
"I’m asking because they said so," April interrupted his trailing thoughts, leaning her elbows against the cool marble of the island. "I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to sex or intimacy. I can understand the logical reasons behind avoiding it during a cycle—the blood, the cramps, the physical discomfort—but I was genuinely curious how people who actually did it felt. From a research standpoint, of course."
Samuel stared at her serious, intensely analytical expression, letting out a quiet, inward sigh. Leave it to April to treat human intimacy like an academic study or a journey through unexplored ruins.
"Well... for starters, I never did that with her during her period," Samuel said, his tone unusually hesitant as he scratched the side of his neck, looking slightly unsure of himself for the first time all evening.
He looked at her earnest, completely eager face, a subtle idea taking root in his mind. He cleared his throat lightly, keeping his voice strictly professional. "Miss April... if it’s basic sex education you require, I could put you through it."
"Really?" April’s eyes instantly lit up with a spark of genuine excitement. The idea of having a trusted, reliable, experienced guide map out the mechanics of intimacy without any emotional games sounded immensely efficient.
But as she opened her mouth to ask him what they should start with first, her glance flicked over to the digital clock mounted on the kitchen wall.
It was long past 11:00 PM.
The immediate reality of their schedule slammed right back into her pragmatic brain. She let out a small, disappointed sigh, her shoulders slumping as she shrank back slightly on the barstool.
"Unfortunately... that can’t happen now," April murmured, wrapping her fingers back around her warm glass of water. "It’s far too late, and we both have to be fully functional for the tournament schedule tomorrow. Plus, you need to head home."
Samuel offered her a soft, gentle smile, the faint ache in his chest yielding to a quiet, deep sense of devotion. "There is no rush, Miss April. The information isn’t going anywhere. Whenever you feel ready to learn, I will be here to explain everything to you."
"Alright," April nodded approvingly, taking a slow sip of her water. "I’ll hold you to that, Samuel."
Samuel’s gentle smile lingered as he watched her finish her warm water, his mind spiraling through quiet, calm thoughts.
In front of him was a curious April...
He wondered if this version of her—so innocent, so absurdly eager to dissect intimacy like a tactical blueprint—was truly safe navigating these waters.
Could those men actually handle her without overwhelming her? Well, it didn’t matter. He had a different plan.
If he was the one teaching her, he would make sure to highlight every necessary precaution, every boundary, and every mechanical reality. Until then, he was very certain she wouldn’t take any reckless actions while her period lasted.
Setting the empty glass down, April stood up from the barstool, wrapping her soft robe tightly around herself. She offered him a small, tired wave. "I’ll go to sleep now. Goodnight, Samuel."
"Goodnight, Miss April," Samuel replied, giving her his signature polite, immaculate bow.
He waited until her light footsteps faded up the stairs before turning back to the marble counter. His eyes locked onto the glass she had just used. Slowly, reverently, Samuel reached out and picked it up. He held it in his palm, staring at the faint, damp mark where her lips had rested.
A subtle, burning flush crept up his neck, yet his gaze remained dark, intense, and unblinking.
Raising the glass to his face, Samuel pressed his lips directly over the exact spot where hers had been, taking in a slow, silent breath.
"It’s fine," Samuel whispered into the quiet, empty kitchen, a faint, possessively sweet smile curving his mouth. "I will take care of everything for you, Miss April. Absolutely everything."
