Apocalypse Rebirth: Making Billions With My Fortune-Telling Skill
Chapter 275: Isn’t it... Sex?
Xavier’s dark eyes widened slightly in surprise as she closed the distance, her flushed face lifting toward his. Before his disciplined mind could even analyze the gesture, his instinct took over.
He reached out, his warm fingers gently cupping the side of her jaw, and leaned down. His kiss was entirely different from Nat’s fierce, territorial storm—it was smooth, reverent, and deeply grounding, his lips pressing against hers with a breathless devotion that made her knees feel dangerously weak.
April let out a soft, shuddering breath against his mouth, her fingers instinctively reaching up to clutch at his lapels to steady herself.
When Xavier finally pulled back, his own breathing uneven, his dark eyes burned with an intense, raw affection that stripped away every ounce of his usual icy restraint.
Before April could even catch her breath, Alexander stepped into her space. He didn’t hesitate, his long arm sliding gently around her back to pull her close, his other hand lifting her chin so he could claim his turn. His kiss was soft, sweet, yet laced with a desperate, possessive warmth that made her heart hammer wildly against her ribs.
April clung to him, completely drowning in the suffocating, addicting rush of having all three of them so completely consumed by her.
Nat, leaning back against the edge of the table, let out a deep, booming laugh that cut through the heavy, breathless silence of the room.
"Well, look at that," Nat drawled, a dark, thoroughly amused smirk spreading across his face as he watched Xavier and Alexander try to regain their composure, both of their faces flushed a brilliant crimson. "I guess Master Reed and the noble knight finally got their practice in."
Xavier adjusted his tie with a slightly unsteady hand, glaring at Nat, though his burning ears completely ruined his dignified aura. "Collins..."
"Oh, come on, don’t get defensive," Nat cackled, interlocking his fingers behind his head. "I’m just pointing out the facts! Between the three of us, I’m pretty sure I’m the only reliable one here when it comes to actual experience. You two are practically trembling like green virgins getting your very first taste!"
Alexander groaned, dragging a hand down his flushed face, though a faint laugh escaped his chest. "You are completely insufferable, Collins."
"I’m being realistic!" Nat barked, his eyes flashing with a wicked glint as he looked at April’s breathless, utterly flustered state. "If our sweetheart here ever wants to learn the ’advanced’ lessons she was so worried about not knowing... She knows who to come to first."
April buried her face in her hands, her heart pounding so hard she thought her ribs might shatter, though a small, helpless smile tugged at the corners of her lips behind her fingers.
"Then let’s do it," she said, lifting her head as her eyes lit up with a sudden, genuine excitement. "This advanced lesson."
All three men froze, staring at her in complete, stunned silence.
Xavier was the first to react, stepping forward and carefully placing his hands on her shoulders, his dark eyes wide as he searched her face. "Do you even know what the advanced lesson is, April?"
"Isn’t it... sex?" she asked, her eyes darting from one man to another, genuinely wondering if she had somehow gotten the terminology wrong again.
Alexander blinked, his jaw dropping slightly as a fresh wave of crimson flared up his neck. "And you... you just want to get right into it?"
"Isn’t that the whole point of this intimacy?" she asked with complete, terrifying innocence. "I mean... strike while the iron is hot, right?"
Before the words could fully leave her mouth, Nat reached out, grabbed her hand, and pulled her aggressively into his arms. The space between them vanished as he wrapped one arm tightly around her waist and pressed his other hand to the back of her head, burying her flushed face directly into the broad, firm plane of his chest.
"Careful," Nat growled into her hair, his low, rough voice trembling with a dark, dangerous restraint. "You really need to mind what you say in front of starved beasts, sweetheart."
April’s breath hitched against his jacket as the sheer, suffocating heat of his body enveloped her. She could feel the violent, heavy thumping of Nat’s heart against her cheek—racing just as wildly as her own.
"She... she isn’t wrong about the logic," Alexander mumbled under his breath, though he had to turn his head away, clearing his throat violently as his hand rubbed the back of his flushed neck. "It’s just... the timing... and the setting..."
Xavier let out a low, shaky exhale, running a hand through his hair, completely undoing his polished corporate demeanor. He looked down at April pinned in Nat’s arms, his dark eyes burning with a mixture of intense craving and forced restraint.
"We are in a private restaurant, April," Xavier said smoothly, though his voice held a strained, breathless edge. "If we are going to take that step... it will not be rushed on a dining table just because you decided to apply pragmatic efficiency to our desire."
Nat let out a dark, breathless rumble of laughter against her ear, his fingers lightly stroking the back of her head as his grip on her waist tightened just a fraction more.
"Hear that, sweetheart?" Nat whispered, his lips brushing her ear. "The CEO wants a bed. But keep talking like that, and none of us are going to make it back to the estate."
Then, he chomped on her cheek, literally sucking on the flesh.
She didn’t mind being held against him like this, or that he was chewing on her cheek the way he was doing, but after a second of shifting her weight, she felt a slight, uncomfortable pressure poking against her hip.
"Nat," April called softly, her voice muffled against his suit jacket. "Can you... take your wallet out of your pocket? It’s poking me."
The room went dead silent.
Nat froze mid-chomping, his jaw hovering near her cheek. He blinked down at her, his golden eyes wide with utter bewilderment. "My... wallet?"
He didn’t even carry a wallet.
