Huh?! The patriarchs turned to look, taken aback. They wondered what Lord Ye was planning to do. Could it be that he wasn’t going to let the leading woman go, either? The thought instantly surfaced in their minds.

If Ye Yunyi knew what was going through their heads right now, he would have undoubtedly grabbed them one by one and tossed them out!

Ye Yunyi looked at the woman and flipped his hand, retrieving a bottle of medicine and pouring out three pills! The moment the pills were exposed to the air, a rich medicinal fragrance began to permeate the entire space.

"Take these three pills back to your patriarch," he instructed.

"Yes! Thank you, Lord Ye!" The woman stepped forward and bowed deeply before him.

Looking at her, Ye Yunyi felt that her status within the Rose Clan definitely wasn’t low. After all, her cleavage was impressively deep!

The woman cupped her hands together, and Ye Yunyi placed the pills in her palms. After a moment of thought, he handed her a small bottle as well.

"Then, Lord Ye, I’ll be going now?"

"All right. Stay safe on the road."

The woman nodded at his parting words and took her leave.

After the woman left, the remaining patriarchs exchanged bewildered glances, staring blankly at each other. Even Ji Wen’s mouth twitched. Wasn’t this the end of the line for them? She had originally thought the items they brought would be enough to tempt Ye Yunyi. Yet, as it turned out, he didn’t care about their gifts at all! He was only interested in beautiful women! But where were they supposed to find beauties right now?

Ji Wen observed the situation and wondered if she should offer herself up instead. The moment the thought surfaced, she immediately cursed herself. What kind of absurd idea was that?!

While Ji Wen at least had that option to consider, the other male patriarchs were left entirely stumped!

They turned to Ye Yunyi. "Lord Ye, what about us..." one said, his gaze sweeping over the other patriarchs beside him.

The others hurriedly chimed in. "Yes, Lord Ye, we were ignorant this time, but we will definitely make it up to you in the future."

As the patriarchs pleaded their case one by one, Ye Yunyi listened to their earnest words and waved his hand. "All right, seeing as you’re all so sincere.

"Here’s what we’ll do. I will write out slips for you. Take them directly to the Fire Barrier and find the higher-ups for Alchemy. You’ve brought too many items, so just have them refine everything for you."

His words left the patriarchs utterly deflated, though they forced polite smiles onto their faces.

"Yes, of course. Thank you, Patriarch Ye."

Listening to his assessment, they felt a wave of helplessness. What they considered premium goods were nothing but second-rate Mutant Plants in Ye Yunyi’s eyes. The disparity was staggering! Fortunately, they had still managed to achieve some of their goals this time!

Ye Yunyi headed inside and soon returned with a few slips of paper, handing them over. "Here, take these!"

The patriarchs accepted the slips, thanked him profusely, and departed. As they left, they couldn’t help but think that they had finally figured out Lord Ye’s preferences. In the future, they would know exactly how to cater to his tastes!

After seeing them off, Ye Yunyi retreated to a room. Lying on the bed inside was the Northern beauty.

While he was lost in thought, a rustling sound caught his attention. He glanced over, locking eyes with the girl just as she fluttered her eyelids open.

The girl stared at him, looking momentarily dazed. Then, she let out a piercing scream and shot straight up in bed! She stared at him, her eyes brimming with terror.

"You! Who are you?! What do you do?! What do you want?!" A barrage of questions was hurled at Ye Yunyi in the blink of an eye.

Ye Yunyi looked at her in exasperation. Was this girl a walking encyclopedia of questions? "Get a grip and figure out your own situation first."
