Chapter 263: The Sword Emperor’s Dominance

The Supreme Commander Demon Lord was utterly shocked, and it took him a while to fully process what he had just heard.

He was infuriated.

The Supreme Commander Demon Lord was truly enraged.

He instantly rebuked, "You bunch of insects just rely on the divine authority. If it weren’t—"

"You rely on your Demon Sovereign or whatever, too, don’t you?"

The Supreme Commander Demon Lord was silent.

He could not refute the Sword Emperor.

After sensing that he had gained the upper hand, the Sword Emperor said, "I won’t kill you. Your Demon Lord can’t do anything to us, either."

The Supreme Commander Demon Lord would not simply accept the demand from the Sword Emperor.

Then, he suddenly had an idea and grinned.

"We still have more than what that flag can provide."

The Sword Emperor glanced at the Abyssal Conquest Flag and swung his hand.

Suddenly, a tangible force made out of strange energy sliced through the Abyssal Conquest Flag, splitting it in half.

And when both parts levitated in the air, they were suddenly sliced into many pieces.

The Supreme Commander Demon Lord stared at it, dumbfounded.

The Abyssal Conquest Flag was one of the artifacts that could allow them to conquer a piece of the Empire’s territory.

It had been their greatest weapon at the moment in the great war, but it was destroyed just like that.

The Supreme Commander Demon Lord had already anticipated that the great war against the Empire under the order of the Demon Lord of Wrath would not normally produce a satisfying victory.

But the Demon Lord of Wrath simply wished that they could make the Empire suffer from his Wrath at least.

The Supreme Commander Demon Lord understood that the individual strength of the Empire was comparable to a Viscount, while the Demon Lord he served was merely a Baron.

Just as the Supreme Commander Demon Lord fell into deep thought, he was startled awake when he perceived a terrifying aura being released by the Sword Emperor.

The Supreme Commander stared at the Sword Emperor, who appeared to be casually releasing his aura.

The Supreme Commander Demon Lord could not imagine how terrifying he would be if he drew his sword.

The Sword Emperor said in a chilling tone, "You can continue your war with them. Just be mindful of your boundary."

The Supreme Commander Demon Lord was enraged.

The Supreme Commander Demon Lord raised his Calamity Greatsword from behind his back.

He then summoned every Demon Lord, including the Greater Demons around him.

A massive amount of Demonic Authority was released, synchronizing the entire army.

From the Sword Emperor’s perspective, watching a sea of demons being strengthened and readying themselves to fight against him made him amused.

At the same time, he ruefully sighed.

He could easily deal with them, but understanding that it was just a fraction of the power of their Lord made him feel conflicted.

He alone could not fight against the demons.

He turned around and saw Max and his Radiant Knights, alongside the Demon Hunters from his Guild.

He then disappeared from his position and arrived behind them.

The Supreme Commander Demon Lord did not expect the Sword Emperor’s sudden retreat.

He shouted at the top of his lungs, "Cowards!!"

Hoping that the Sword Emperor heard him.

His roar indeed reached Max and the Demon Hunters.

They were utterly surprised, but seeing the Sword Emperor appearing behind them with a casual composure made them sigh in relief.

The Sword Emperor was annoyed by their reaction and said to them, "You wouldn’t have thought I would die, would you all?"

The Demon Hunters did not reply, but the Imperial Army hastily lied.

"Of course, we don’t. We are even worried about the Demon Lords on the other side."

The Sword Emperor scoffed.
