Chapter 216: Radiant Demolition

Ever since the start of their battle, Darius had been at a disadvantage.

The greataxe and greatsword collided.

When Max stared at the collision with widened eyes, unperturbed by the howling wind filled with demonic and Radiant Mana, he noticed that the greataxe and greatsword were not physically touching.

An inch of distance remained between the weapons, where their opposing mana was concentrated, trying to cancel each other out.

Max was mesmerized—it was his first time witnessing a collision that emanated such a dangerous force, one powerful enough to greatly affect their surroundings.

In fact, the howling winds were created by their collision, and the battle in the main battlefield abruptly came to a halt.

Demons and demon hunters were forced to stop moving due to the intensity of the conflicting mana created by the collision of the weapons.

Even Varkhaz had to admit that the overall impact of the collision was powerful enough to block his full-scale attack.

Eventually, the collision reached its conclusion.

Ignis failed to completely block the greataxe—its Radiant Mana was too immense, eventually swallowing his greatsword’s demonic mana.

The embers surrounding his greatsword dissipated, and the greatsword’s body cracked under the mighty greataxe.

In the end, the greatsword broke, and the greataxe continued to devastate everything in its path.

The shadow of the greataxe, still illuminating a blinding light, appeared above Ignis’s face as he stared at it with a frozen expression.

His face could not even form a horrified expression before the greataxe cut through his face and body, splitting him in half...
