Enzo was not surprised by his brother’s methods in dealing with the Lewis Guild.

However, he was not his brother. He was not cruel for making the other players experience character deletion and having to start from the bottom once they returned from the two-week suspension of playing the game.

He did not receive a report anyway that his guild died from the hands of the Lewis Guild.

Furthermore, he had an idea that the Lewis Guild was deliberately provoking him, so when he lost his temper and patience, ordering his guild members to kill the Lewis Guild members, they wouldn’t hesitate to frame the Grant brothers as cruel, merciless players.

Enzo did not want to fall for their tricks.

While he was lost in thought, his elder brother suddenly said, "You can only choose between protecting your image or protecting your guild members.

If you don’t do something, they will only feel displeased towards you.

I’m sure that your tactician told you that."

Enzo nodded. "That’s right. But he told me that unless the Lewis Guild strikes heavily first, we should reciprocate the intensity of their harassment."

Max chuckled. "They definitely won’t. But don’t forget that they are deliberately targeting your members, who were out to complete a quest submitted by the Governor or the Commanders.

If they successfully prevent you from completing the quests, they will be dissatisfied and your Guild’s sponsorship might lessen and inevitably be pulled out as a result."

Enzo was stunned. He didn’t expect that his brother could actually understand the Lewis Guild’s intention just from their activities.

Recalling Danny, who was the Vice Guild Leader of the Demon Hunters Guild, a B-rank Tactician, made Enzo make sense of his brother’s reasoning.

Enzo glanced at his brother and asked, "So, what do you want me to do?"

"Kill them."

Enzo frowned and did not reply.

Max drank a mouthful of water and said, "You can’t please everyone, so you should choose your own interest over theirs.

The Lewis Guild’s reputation is not that mighty. They are simply controlled by the Lewis Family.

Their members were simply driven by money and benefits, so their hatred of us is just to curry favor for the Lewis brother.

Aethernova had been receiving "angry" reacts to every post, but do they care?

No. They are still earning a lot, even.

That’s why they tolerated me.

After all, despite the hate for the Demon Hunters Guild, its momentum is unstoppable and continues to rise until it surpasses the mighty Lewis Guild."

Max’s sarcastic tone at the end of his words echoed in the dining room.

Max continued eating, wanting Enzo to process his words.

Enzo ruminated for a while and nodded. "I will think about it."

Max replied, "Be decisive."

"Mhm." Enzo agreed.

Suddenly, Enzo recalled something and finally changed the topic.

He asked, "Brother, some of my friends want to visit us. It’s to further discuss the Monster Hunters Guild development."

Ever since Enzo established the Monster Hunters Guild, every meeting they had occurred in real life.

It was to save time for grinding in the game, and the guild’s development was discussed through online meetings.

It was the first time that Enzo mentioned having a face-to-face meeting and it would be at their residence at that.

Max was glad that Enzo had friends. Although he silently disliked him for having mostly players who joined his Guild. Max understood that his brother was destined to form many connections in the real world rather than him.

Max nodded at Enzo and said, "Sure. Do you need me to do something?"

Enzo hastily shook his head and was about to say something when the words stuck in his throat.

Max smiled and immediately understood.

"They want to see me, right?"

Enzo sighed and reluctantly nodded. "But I already told them that they should be disappointed because you are busy."

"Mhm." Max nodded. "I have also come out of seclusion just today, so I will be visiting the Guild Headquarters."

"For the first time?" Enzo smiled.

He was aware of his elder brother’s seclusion to reach the B-rank.

Although there has been no world announcement for becoming the first player to reach a higher rank, other players already had an idea in mind that Max remained to be the first player.

Enzo also suspected that it was because of Legacy that Apocalypse Online did not want to recognize players reaching a higher rank faster than others.

Max nodded. "Mhm. So, I’m currently free for the next eight hours at most."

Enzo nodded. Without hesitation, he took out his phone and informed his guild members of his elder brother’s vacant schedule for them to see him face to face.

Once he put his phone away, Max said, "You should prepare the guest area now. Also, order food and snacks for them.

Entertain the guests as best as you can, brother.

I will go off to train now."

Enzo nodded and watched his brother’s departing figure.

He remembered that a month ago, his elder brother had made an absurd claim.

An exercise from the game could be executed in the real world and the benefits might be non-existent but could be observed for the long-term.

Enzo thought it was absurd—it was just a game, so why would his elder brother treat it as if they could occur in the real world?

But of course, exercise from the game was indeed plausible to be executed in reality as it was proven many times by the past deleted virtual games.

Enzo felt conflicted at that time, until his elder brother showed him his progress from his training, which shocked him.

His elder brother could fight against a professional boxer just based on his movements and physical capability!

He was dumbfounded.

When he asked his elder brother where he learned the exercise, Max simply told him that he personally created it, inspired by the Imperial Foundational Training System.

Enzo would have brushed it off, but when Max told him that the combat system he developed could further strengthen his mage character, he did not hesitate anymore and learned it.

He abided by his elder brother’s wish to keep the combat system to themselves.

At the moment, he was still at the foundational level of the combat system, but the results were apparent...
