Third was the Eastern Border Consolidation Campaign.

It was the series of military operations securing unstable eastern borderlands against hostile monsters and raiding factions, resulting in the establishment of new settlements, roads, and defensive watchtowers.

The campaign was called to be the golden era of Empire’s expansion, soaring the moral of humans.

At the same time, the Church’s Authority of Salvation providence diminished because how humanity expanded without its assistance.

Max found it funny because just as the Empire expanded and established defensive watchtowers, they eventually lost them.

The watchtower outpost was one of the example.

Fourth was the Highland Secession Rebellion.

A coalition of highland lords declared independence after disputes over taxation and military obligations. The rebellion ended with the restoration of Imperial authority and reforms clarifying the rights and responsibilities of regional nobility.

Although Max surmised that the lingering bloodline of the kingdom who was swallowed by the Empire became the primary reason for rebellion, their failure only solidified the Imperial Family’s position.

The Crimson Banner Rebellion forced the Imperial Family, especially those Emperors who followed the Tactician’s sequence to understand the Imperial Forces rather than treating them as mere spawns.

Although the uprising imperial officers reasoned that they rebelled out of the newly enacted military reforms—it was also the nail of their suspicions of being treated as pawns to the Imperial Family.

Max couldn’t help but chuckle when he studied that part.

Every class sequence has its own flaws. Tactician class sequence, for instance, develop their cold and detached personality over time.

It was difficult for them to develop emotions when they perceived everything as a strategy.

Their biggest threat as a tactician would always be having emotions.

They believed that being too sentimental and having emotions were their primary reason they could not attain higher class advancement for tactician sequence.

Unlike Max and other players, they needed to act as their current class until they were ready to attain higher class advancement.

Such methods were multiple times difficult than being a player.

It was precisely why when apocalypse descended, it became difficult to gain higher class advancement.

When Max recalled his interaction with the Governor, the way he was being seen, it was obvious that the Governor only thought of himself.

It was mentioned that a Mythical Ice Dragon was born, unifying the monsters in the north, fighting against demons and humans.

The Imperial Family also began investing their military and fortress infrastructure in the north after the sightings of the Mythical Ice Dragon.

The eighth then was the Second Great Demon Incursion.

One of the largest recorded demonic invasions in Imperial history.

The campaign involved multiple provincial armies, the Holy Church, and Imperial commissions operating simultaneously across several fronts.

The identity of the Imperial Demon Vanguard at this campaign soared as they contributed greatly.

The Holy Church and the Imperial Family’s cooperation deepened afterwards...
