Chapter 434: Chapter 218: Speculating the Cause, the Law of Cosmic Decay, Divine King

"The latter produces almost four times the energy of the former, and that’s just the lowest level of anti-entropic fusion."

"Take a supernova explosion, for instance—the death of a star. The energy it releases is enough to destroy a large Star Realm and form a true dead zone in the surrounding area."

"Of course, the nebular matter from this interstellar dust will eventually collapse to form new stars, continuing the cycle over and over until the energy finally dissipates into the boundless Cosmos and reaches its end."

"That’s why entropic fission is merely delaying the inevitable, while anti-entropic fusion is the only true path forward for life."

"Not even Deities above Tier Six can wield such immense power."

Ling Yi then shot the man beside her a look as if she’d seen a ghost.

"From the first time I saw you use your Synthetic Superpower, I thought it completely violated the law of entropy. What you do should require enough Energy to destroy this planet, yet you do it so easily."

"Methods for achieving cold nuclear fusion might exist, but even Deities haven’t been able to solve the technical challenges."

"But if you really aren’t a Pure-blooded Human, then there’s another explanation..."

By now, the jeep had reached the South Suburban Heavy Industrial District. Lin Feng braked to a stop outside the factory that manufactured Chainsaw Swords and turned his head, waiting for Ling Yi to continue.

Stared at by that deep, dark gaze, Ling Yi felt an inexplicable chill run down her spine. In that instant, her sharp perception, a trait of a Divine Descendant, felt as if it were staring into a boundless Abyss.

She felt like Lin Feng could probably kill her with a single glare.

After swallowing to ease her nervousness, Ling Yi continued speaking:

"If part of your bloodline comes from one of the most superior races, then it would all make sense..."

"Are your mom and dad your biological parents?"

Lin Feng frowned slightly.

"They should be. It’s not like they found me in a cornfield on some farm one night, in a crashed alien Spaceship, right?"

"The Alien Star invasion hadn’t happened yet back then, and the satellites in the sky weren’t just for show..."

"Besides, I never developed any Superpowers growing up. It was the evolutionary opportunity that came with your Zerg Race’s invasion that triggered my Awakening."

"So the other possibility is that one of my parents isn’t human?"

Ling Yi shrugged.

"That’s for you to figure out. Didn’t you say before that they both disappeared, one after the other?"

"Something that bizarre definitely means your origins are far from simple. Maybe their disappearance is closely tied to your bloodline..."

Lin Feng was a little speechless. He asked as he got out of the car,

"I might have to go to the Moon to find that out. This trip north should also dig up some clues. But these ’most superior races’ you mentioned before—what are they? Even more powerful than Divine Descendants?"

Ling Yi followed the man into the factory complex.

"Aside from the Deities at Tier Seven and above, it’s just like the previous Evolution Levels. Tier Nine is the pinnacle of a Deity’s evolution, but above that, there are terrifying beings known as Eternal Divine Kings..."

Lin Feng froze and turned back.

"A Divine King? You mean *that* one?"

Ling Yi nodded, then gently shook her head, signaling for Lin Feng not to say the name.

A wave of Spiritual Energy then emanated from her body, enveloping them both.

Only after she had done all this did Ling Yi begin to explain:

"Divine Kings are eternal beings, on par with Stellars. Ordinary celestial bodies can no longer satisfy their appetites; they are cosmic devourers that feed on Stellars."

"Of course, they themselves are undying Suns."

"Insignificant planetary lifeforms like us would be harmed by the Energy fluctuations it invisibly emanates, even from hundreds of millions of kilometers away."

"Deities cannot be looked upon directly. A Divine King, however, cannot be spoken of, much less seen!"

"And its descendants naturally possess similar abilities. Once activated, the Divine Blood flowing in their veins, even if it can’t reverse life and death or grant anti-entropic immortality like their progenitor, can still control the transfer of particles within a small area..."

As she spoke, Ling Yi saw Lin Feng in the process of fusing and reforging a low-quality Tiger-toothed Chainsaw Sword.

A gleam of golden light emerged from his hand, covering the entire blade of the Chainsaw Sword. It fused in and reshaped the weapon in just a few seconds...

A flawless, orange-tier weapon was born.

Ling Yi’s eyebrow twitched, and she immediately asked:

"Try it! Can that Superpower of yours reverse and optimize a living being?!"
