Chapter 1413 - 55: The Beginning of Chaos (Part 2)

Secret chamber number three, Legas’s heavily fortified hideout, boasts top-notch defense and isolates any form of perception techniques or aura disturbances.

Although Legas’s abilities are mediocre, as the former Highest Commander of the Demon Clan Army, he still has some insight. Legas is certain that as long as he’s in secret chamber number three, no one will find him unless someone dismantles the entire Modusa City!

His reasoning wasn’t wrong, at least the visitor he’s wary of hasn’t detected Legas’s exact location.

He only knows Legas is somewhere in Modusa City, but that’s enough.

"Legas! Get out here!"

The booming sound waves echoed violently throughout Modusa City. Despite the insulation of the defense barrier, weaker demons within the city still suffered organ rupture and died on the spot.

No one cared about them; in the Demon Realm, the weak are insignificant and unworthy of mention...

Inside chamber number three, Legas naturally sensed the overwhelming sound waves. He could only shrink his head and tremble in the hidden chamber.

There’s no help for it now, as Legas can’t even beat Philip, let alone solve this problem.

"Who’s there?"

Soon after the soundwave explosion, a figure floated up from the city, quickly flying to the edge of the barrier, staring at the source of the voice.

It was Philip.

"It’s me."

Upon seeing Philip, the speaker calmed down, retracting the black mist enveloping him, revealing his true form.

It was a Three-Headed Demon Dragon.

Only less than three meters in length, yet its entire body covered in black scale armor, as if forged from black diamonds, shimmering heartbreakingly under the dim light.

At this moment, more than a dozen eyes of the demon dragon fixed on Philip, and even though there was no malice in its gaze, Philip felt an unceasing chill around him.

"So it’s Lord Oga, apologies for my rudeness..."

Seeing the visitor clearly, Philip decisively backed down—who doesn’t know the Three-headed Dragon Clan’s notorious temper and ferocity? As a member of the highest 7-Member Council of the Demon Army and the clan leader of the Three-headed Dragon Clan, Oga has earned his reputation through brutal killings.

This is one who truly dares to act.

"Where’s Legas?"

Oga spoke again, his voice was calm, betraying no emotion, but at that moment, Philip felt his scalp tingle, his mouth dry.

Oga bore no grudge against Legas, so his visit might mean Legas really has acquired some significant intelligence!

"Lord Legas has not returned."

Philip blatantly lied, but surreptitiously reinforced Modusa City’s defense barrier, simultaneously sending a message to Philip.

These small actions did not escape Oga’s notice, who merely shot Philip a glance with mild disapproval; in the next second, his three-meter-long figure suddenly began to grow!

Ten meters, hundred meters, thousand meters, ten thousand meters...

In just the blink of an eye, Oga’s body had become more imposing than the entire Modusa City! The terrifying aura ravaged freely, the massive body blocked out the sky, and in the next second, before Philip could even retort, all he saw was the massive dragon’s body sway and then a long yet strong tail swept across!

"Boom!"

The dragon’s tail swept by, hitting Modusa City’s barrier, which immediately collapsed and shattered, followed by the buildings, its inhabitants, the resisting army, and even Philip himself.

With one strike, everything ended; after the tail swept past, all that remained of Modusa City was a smooth wasteland.

As a Level 11 powerful expert, Philip barely managed to deliver another line before he was struck unknown distances away; it could be anticipated that Philip’s resurrection method should now be triggered.

...

"So, it’s underground, then."

After obliterating Modusa City with a single strike, Oga found no trace of Legas. After a brief pause, he realized Legas must be hidden somewhere underground.

Oga’s right head quivered suddenly, as energy gathered, and he flew high while opening his mouth, intending to cause a second round of destruction over the original site of Modusa City. However, a voice suddenly coming from afar caused Oga to pause briefly.

"You dare!"

Oga proved through action that indeed he dared...

"Boom!"

An energy beam descended from the sky, like apocalyptic devastation, instantly raising a mushroom cloud on the ground. Inside chamber number three, Legas only felt the chamber swinging wildly, and the next moment, the walls began to crack, and high temperatures surged in, leaving him only time to send out a "save me" before shutting his eyes, ready to resign himself to fate.

This strike, even though it was a range attack from Oga, was still essentially lethal for Legas, who lacked Origin Energy reserves.

Yet, the anticipated death did not come; amidst the cacophony of energy aftershocks and explosions, Legas vaguely sensed a figure standing before him. That figure wasn’t tall, but it blocked all the tempest as if it were a mountain.

"Godfather..."

At this moment, Legas felt that Philip wasn’t just his godfather; he was practically his real father!

And Philip, right on cue, responded affirmatively with a simple "Mm," then looked up toward the gigantic dragon perched in the sky.

"Oga... what you’re doing is against the rules..."

"Oh, I know."

Oga merely replied flatly; his three gigantic dragon heads all fixed on Legas, the murderous intent and brutality in his eyes unmistakably clear.

"Give him to me, and I won’t strike again."

Oga made a demand; however, this was not any request — it was essentially an ultimatum!

Yet, Philip had to consider this ultimatum seriously...

Only because the Three-headed Dragon Clan is one of the demon tribe’s most powerful fighting races individually, and Oga is second only to himself in the highest council of the Demon Army.

The three fell into an awkward stalemate...

Until Legas figured out the situation.

Mad, my "real dad" truly intends to sell me out! If I don’t do something, I’ll really die with unresolved grievances!

"Godfather, listen to me..."

"Mm, what do you want..."

"Boom!"

Oga didn’t give Legas a chance to speak; at the moment Legas was about to communicate with Philip, another energy beam slammed down from nowhere!

At this moment, even if Philip had many hesitations and considerations, he understood something was amiss here...

"Oga! You!"

Philip was furious, but Oga paid no heed; he simply locked onto Legas’s position tightly, intending to eliminate Legas from Philip’s hands.

But being the strongest known individual in the demon tribe, how could he be so easily dealt with!
