Ethan sat on the bed, staring blankly at his surroundings.

He soon recognized the room. It was where he had stayed during his time with the Aurelians.

"How did I suddenly end up back here?" he murmured.

Then he remembered.

"That's right. I established a fixed point here this morning before I went to see the Beast Sovereign.

"Which means I've returned to before it woke up?"

Ethan looked down at his hands, then rubbed his head.

The skull-splitting agony from the soul attack was gone. Aside from feeling a little disoriented, he was perfectly fine. There wasn't the slightest trace of injury.

"So this is Temporal Rewind. Incredible."

Ethan got out of bed and left the room.

The Aurelians outside were going about their business. When they saw him, they greeted him just as they had before.

Time was following the exact same course.

The only difference was that Ethan knew what would happen next.

He made his way to where the Beast Sovereign was being treated. As soon as he arrived, he heard the familiar voice.

"Where am I?"

Those had been the Beast Sovereign's first words last time. At this fixed point, it had just regained consciousness.

Ethan teleported in front of it without hesitation.

The scene was exactly the same, like watching a movie play for the second time.

The feeling was indescribable.

"You!" The Beast Sovereign looked at Ethan and repeated the same words as before. "You saved me?"

"That's right." Ethan nodded.

Even if he was doing this over, he still deserved the credit.

The Beast Sovereign examined its condition, and shock filled its face.

Then it lowered its proud head.

"Thank you."

Those two words carried more weight than any speech. It was the first time the Beast Sovereign had bowed to anyone in tens of thousands of years.

"All right, no time for this. Your subordinates are in danger. We need to get there as quickly as possible," Ethan said.

Last time, they had wasted time talking. By the time they arrived, many of the Outland Beasts had already been severely wounded.

He wouldn't let that happen again.

The Beast Sovereign's expression changed.

"Understood."

It was about to take flight when Ethan opened a dimensional rift with a sweep of his hand.

"Flying will take too long. Use this."

"Right. I nearly forgot you had a spatial transportation ability."

After giving Henry a few instructions, Ethan entered the dimensional rift with the Beast Sovereign.

The dozen or so Outland Beasts had already been discovered and were fighting the intelligent races.

The Frostfox had only been battling the Thundari Patriarch for a short time. It hadn't been seriously wounded yet, though it was still being forced back.

The other Outland Beasts weren't in great condition either, but none had suffered critical injuries.

A dimensional rift suddenly appeared above the battlefield.

Two figures emerged.

The Outland Beasts and intelligent fighters all stared in shock.

"BEAST SOVEREIGN!"

The Outland Beasts shouted in wild excitement.

The intelligent fighters looked as if they couldn't believe their eyes.

"How is that possible?"

"How could it recover from injuries like those so quickly?" The Thundari Patriarch stared in confusion. "Even if its physical wounds could be treated, what about the damage to its soul?"

"The human!" The Stoneborn Patriarch's gaze fell on Ethan, his face turning grim. "There must be someone among the humans who can heal soul wounds."

"Humanity…" The Thundari Patriarch glared darkly at Ethan.

Ethan ignored him and spoke directly to the Beast Sovereign.

"I'll keep the Stoneborn Patriarch occupied. Kill the Thundari Patriarch as quickly as possible, then help me deal with the Stoneborn."

Last time, Ethan had wasted too much time killing the weaker Stage SSS fighters. That had delayed the Beast Sovereign's attempt to finish off the Thundari Patriarch.

This time, Ethan would leave the small fry alone.

The Outland Beasts were in much better condition than before. They should be able to hold out for a while.

He would remove the Stoneborn Patriarch first, allowing the Beast Sovereign to kill the Thundari Patriarch without interference.

"Don't do anything reckless," the Beast Sovereign warned, alarmed. "You've only just reached Stage SSS. That bastard is Tier 47. You can't hold him back."

"I have my ways, but I can't keep him occupied for long. You need to kill the Thundari Patriarch as fast as you can."

Without waiting for another response, Ethan pulled the Stoneborn Patriarch into the Deadlock Dimension.

The Beast Sovereign's expression changed as the two of them vanished.

At its level, it could tell Ethan had dragged the Stoneborn Patriarch into a separate dimension.

Ethan had already saved its life. Now he was risking his own to hold off a Tier 47 enemy, all for the Beast Sovereign's sake.

Its eyes turned red.

Then it whipped around and charged straight at the Thundari Patriarch.

It knew Ethan was right.

If the beast races wanted to win this war, one of the enemy's strongest fighters had to die first. Otherwise, even with the Beast Sovereign's return, the outcome wouldn't change.

It would not waste this perfect opportunity.

The Thundari Patriarch panicked as the Beast Sovereign charged toward him.

It had taken all four of the great Patriarchs to fight the Beast Sovereign to a standstill. How could he possibly face it alone?

"Everyone above Tier 46, get over here and help me fight the Beast Sovereign! The Celestials Patriarch and the others are already on their way. We only need to hold it off until they arrive. Everyone else, deal with the remaining Outland Beasts!"

"Understood!"

Nine fighters above Tier 46 flew over to support the Thundari Patriarch, while the rest attacked the other Outland Beasts.

The Beast Sovereign ignored them completely.

Kill the Thundari Patriarch.

The Tier 46 fighters tried to stop the Beast Sovereign, but nothing they did worked.

The Thundari Patriarch used every ability at his disposal, yet he still couldn't withstand the Beast Sovereign's frenzied assault.

In less than five minutes, the enraged Beast Sovereign killed him and swallowed his corpse whole.

Last time, the sudden arrival of the Celestials Patriarch and the others had distracted it, making it forget to eat the body.

This time, they hadn't arrived yet.

The Beast Sovereign wasn't about to forget again.

The surrounding Tier 46 fighters fled in terror.

The Beast Sovereign didn't pursue them. Instead, it flew to the distorted space left behind by Ethan's Deadlock Dimension and stared at it anxiously.

"Ethan, don't you dare die in there. If you do, I'll regret it for the rest of my life."
