The second location Ye Zhongming chose was called the Overlapping Water Dead Zone by the data personnel.

When viewed from high altitude, this terrain looked like four water droplets stacked together, each pointing in a different direction, with their tips facing outward and their rounded parts partially overlapping.

The area was substantial, the terrain flat, and normally speaking, it could be considered a reasonably suitable place; after all, the ‘water droplet tips’ facing the four directions were all narrow paths, winding downward.

Because the Overlapping Water Dead Zone was situated at a high elevation, beneath these four lower paths lay steep cliffs, smooth as mirrors, and even where there was vegetation, it was sparse and scattered.

In other words, to reach the Overlapping Water Dead Zone, besides coming from the air, there were only these four paths on the cliffs.

Speaking about his own area of expertise, the staff officer, his voice steady and confident, forgot his earlier doubts about Ye Zhongming.

The others present nodded in agreement. Although these four paths were not wide, they were distributed in four directions, and each would inevitably require troop deployment, making it far less convenient than defending just one direction.
