Perry Yates’s goal this time wasn’t to kill anyone. She just wanted to throw the patrol teams here into chaos so she could make her move.

As Perry Yates’s three Clones darted around, the patrol teams responsible for guarding the area quickly mobilized.

Perry Yates’s three Clones continuously dodged the patrol teams’ attacks. What no one noticed was that as the Clones moved, they were constantly shedding soil laced with Space Grass Seeds.

These soil-covered seeds took root upon hitting the ground, and one by one, stalks of Space Grass instantly sprouted under the cover of night.

After ten minutes or so, Perry Yates decided it was enough and decisively had her three Clones leap into the sea.

All the patrol team members watched as the three suspects—who they believed were the masterminds behind the recent incidents and had just been fighting them—jumped into the sea without a moment’s hesitation.

Before they could even react, they heard a tremendous noise from behind them.

The sound was extremely familiar, as they had been hearing it every day for the past few days.

Sometimes it was one bang, sometimes two. But this time...

Just as the patrol members turned toward the sound, they saw that of the six remaining containers, four were already tilted high into the air. Half of each container was still on the cruise ship, while the other half had vanished.

Just then, the cruise ship suddenly lurched for some unknown reason. The four precariously balanced containers slid off as if pushed by a strong wind and were gone in a flash. A moment later, four massive splashes sounded in succession behind them.

Meanwhile, after successfully dealing with the Space Grass and "sending off" the two people she had seen earlier, Perry Yates lay on her bed and closed her eyes. ’Two major worries taken care of. Now I can relax.’

The two remaining containers were filled with various supplies. Although there were less than two full containers’ worth, even if used sparingly, it likely wouldn’t be enough for everyone on the ship.

’But then again,’ she thought, ’after eating food containing trace amounts of the grain virus for so long, who knows how many normal people will even be left?’

’In any case, I’ve dealt with the zombies in the containers. All that’s left now are the tourists and crew members on the ship.’

「The next day, the eleventh day of the game.」

Early in the morning, everyone was gathered in the banquet hall.

The captain stood on the main stage, his gaze heavy as he looked down at the crowd. Beside him stood a curvaceous, beautiful woman in a silver slip dress.

The woman clung to the captain’s side like a clinging vine.

Once almost everyone had arrived, the captain finally spoke.

"Last night, something truly horrifying happened on this cruise ship. My family heirloom, an eight-hundred-carat blue gemstone known as the Heart of the Ocean, was stolen. The thief is now hiding among you."

As soon as he finished speaking, everyone began whispering among themselves. Some discussed the thief, others the eight-hundred-carat blue gemstone, but Perry Yates questioned whether any of it was true.

’This feels like just an excuse. The captain doesn’t look like the type to own an eight-hundred-carat blue gemstone.’

’It’s wrong to judge a book by its cover, but I trust my intuition more, especially after what happened yesterday.’

’Considering how much importance the captain placed on the containers, and with only two left—both filled with daily supplies—he should be panicking right now. How could he have the time or mood to gather everyone just to find a family heirloom?’

’This has to be a trap.’

Although she thought this, Perry Yates didn’t show it. Like the people around her, she began to whisper.

Just then, the woman in the captain’s arms suddenly spoke up. "I believe you are all innocent, but we still need to go through the proper procedures. As a token of our apology, I’ve personally made some small desserts for everyone to enjoy."

People were already angry about being forcibly gathered here. Did she think a few words about believing in their innocence would smooth things over? Impossible.

However, when faced with the fragrant, colorful pastries being offered, most people didn’t refuse.

After all, they had been dragged here early in the morning, and many of them hadn’t even had breakfast yet.

Perry Yates accepted a pastry and a cup of black tea from a server.

The pastry smelled wonderful, and the aroma of the black tea was rich, but...

[Black Tea:

Perry Yates...

Staring at the tainted pastry and black tea before her, Perry Yates glanced at the woman smiling gently on the stage. ’I wonder if she knows what’s in these.’

As she watched people eat the pastries and drink the tea one by one, the woman’s smile grew wider. Seeing this, Perry Yates was certain. The woman definitely knew; she might even be the one behind it all.

’But why drag everyone down with her?’

In fact, Perry Yates had guessed correctly. The woman was indeed trying to take everyone with her to their deaths.

Perry Yates put down her tea and pastry. Since she wasn’t the only one, her actions didn’t seem out of place.

The woman didn’t seem angry when she saw those who weren’t eating her prepared pastries and tea, as if she were absolutely certain of her success.

Perry Yates didn’t know where the woman’s strange confidence came from. But to prevent the cruise ship from descending into chaos too early, she decided to do something—and while she was at it, she would "send off" that psychotic woman on stage, along with the captain who was clearly blinded by lust. The sooner, the better.

This resolve hardened when Perry Yates returned to her room and saw that something had been smeared on her doorknob, along with a razor blade attached to it.

After checking the room inside and out, Perry Yates discovered that only the door seemed to have been tampered with.

Although it looked identical, Perry Yates remembered clearly that her door had gotten a small dent when Felix Flynn had come looking for her. Now, the dent was gone. The door had been replaced.

Perry Yates was puzzled as to why they would change the door, but she didn’t waste much time on it. ’It’s just a door. Even if they replaced it with a prison cell’s iron gate, I could get out with a single kick.’

"I should focus on how to get rid of that psycho couple. And also..."

Perry Yates planned to add some of the antidote into the cruise ship’s water storage tanks.

The diluted antidote wouldn’t be able to cure the infection, but it could slow down the rate of zombification for everyone.
