Moira Lynch saw a hint of pleading in the other person’s eyes.

"Sure, but on one condition: you have to trade your own food for it."

"No problem."

The refined young man agreed readily. From the look on his face, it was as if he wasn’t giving away food, but getting rid of a burden.

The two happily reached an agreement.

Seeing that it was about time, Moira Lynch got up and walked outside, completely ignoring MoonlitHorizon beside her.

Watching Moira Lynch’s receding figure, MoonlitHorizon finally revealed her true colors.

She spat disdainfully at Moira Lynch’s back.

’People these days are so selfish. It’s just a bun, not like it’s anything valuable, yet she still wanted to trade for it.’

’Young people nowadays have no compassion at all. Each generation is worse than the last.’

’Back in my day, people always helped each other out.’

’But now, she won’t even spare a single bun.’

If Moira Lynch could hear her thoughts, she’d probably wonder if MoonlitHorizon was completely nuts.

What did she mean, "just a bun"? That was food, and precious food at that. How many people on Caelus could even afford to eat something like that now?

Her stomach rumbled in protest again.

Seeing there was no free meal to be had, MoonlitHorizon took out her own food and began to wolf it down.

As she ate, she replayed Moira Lynch’s movements when she had taken out the item, trying to guess the location of her Space Button.

’So you won’t give me any, huh? Tomorrow, I’ll get my hands on your Space Button. We’ll see how arrogant you are then.’

However, what she didn’t know was that Moira Lynch stored all her belongings in her personal space, and MoonlitHorizon’s ability only allowed her to steal items physically on a person’s body.

Meanwhile, Moira Lynch walked out of the cafeteria. She was now quite certain that MoonlitHorizon’s ability was some form of thievery.

And it seemed the woman had already targeted her.

’It’s not that I’m scared, but being targeted by a thief is never a good thing.’

Moira Lynch wondered if she should tell Eleanor Vaughn about this and let the Sea Sprites handle it.

’That way, the problem gets solved, and I can stay out of it. Perfect.’

The excuse was ready-made: someone had lost something here.

This was the Sea Sprites’ territory, so it was only natural to let them handle it.

By the time Moira Lynch arrived, other players had already started working.

The two Sea Sprites from yesterday were standing at the entrance, glancing over from time to time as if waiting for someone.

Seeing this, Moira Lynch turned to look behind her. ’Is some important person coming to inspect the work today?’

However, there was no important person coming for an inspection.

The two Sea Sprites, who had just been looking around, immediately jogged over the moment they saw Moira Lynch, their faces beaming with brilliant smiles.

"Thank you for helping us clean up the junk that’s been piling up for years. You worked so hard yesterday. We never expected your ability to be so powerful. We apologize for our rudeness yesterday."

Looking at the two Sea Sprites, Moira Lynch already understood what was going on.

"You’re welcome. It was my pleasure," Moira Lynch said with a smile.

"By the way, is this the only warehouse you have? If there are others, I can help clear them out too."

Hearing this, the two Sea Sprites’ eyes lit up. "Really? You’re willing to keep helping?"

Moira Lynch nodded. "Of course. You’ve already seen how efficient I am."

The two Sea Sprites nodded in unison. They had indeed seen it. In just one lunch break, everything piled up in an entire warehouse had vanished completely.

And according to their investigation, she had left before the lunch break was even over.

They thought about how all the warehouses in their clan were filled to the brim, packed with leftovers from previous years or things they didn’t eat at all.

If this stuff wasn’t disposed of, it would just continue to waste space.

Now that such a powerful "recycler" had finally appeared, they knew this was an opportunity they couldn’t afford to miss.

As far as they knew, her recycling ability had to be S-rank.

After all, geniuses like her were usually monopolized by the military, giving them no chance to make contact.

In the end, the two Sea Sprites agreed to take her to the other warehouses to collect things during the lunch break.

They had actually wanted to take Moira Lynch there immediately, but she refused.

’After all, this is a quest from the system. I don’t want to give it any reason to penalize me.’

Players were already starting to trickle out of the cafeteria. If Moira Lynch left now, she would easily attract attention. Besides, it wouldn’t hurt to wait a little longer.

Seeing Moira Lynch’s insistence, the two Sea Sprites could only compromise.

Moira Lynch returned to the worksite.

Many players had seen her chatting cheerfully with the two Sea Sprites just now.

MoonlitHorizon sidled up to her, her face a mask of gossipy curiosity. "What were you just talking about with those two Sea Sprites?"

Her voice wasn’t quiet, and the other players all glanced over as well.

"Oh, didn’t someone lose something last night? I was just reporting it to them. Hopefully, they can catch the thief soon. I’d rather not live in constant fear."

The other players mentally nodded in agreement. True enough.

It was just a shame their interstellar language skills were poor, so they couldn’t report it to the Sea Sprites themselves.

The players who had been slacking off on their studies now made a firm resolution to go back and study hard.

Otherwise, if they couldn’t even speak the language, they wouldn’t even know how to file a complaint if something happened.

When MoonlitHorizon heard Moira Lynch’s words, the smile on her face froze. "Oh, so that’s what it was. But is reporting it to them even useful? What if they’re the ones who stole it? Don’t you think that was a bit reckless of you?"

"The Elven Race seems pretty wealthy. I doubt they’d steal a single item, especially from another planet. Wouldn’t that just bring shame to their own race?" Moira Lynch shook her head.

"And if it really was one of the Elven Race who did it, their punishment will only be more severe."

After speaking, Moira Lynch went back to work. The other players also resumed their tasks after listening, leaving only MoonlitHorizon standing there in a daze, her heart pounding with panic.

At the same time, she couldn’t help but resent Moira Lynch in her heart, blaming her for being a busybody.

But what was done was done. She could only console herself with the thought that the Elven Race wouldn’t necessarily be able to trace it back to her. After all, she hadn’t left any clues; she hadn’t even gotten close to the person during the entire process.

’In any case, there’s absolutely no way I’m returning the item.’

Moira Lynch saw the panicked expression on MoonlitHorizon’s face and snorted inwardly. ’Serves you right. Who asked you to target me?’

’If I’d known I’d get stuck with this person, I would have asked someone else, or just asked Patience directly.’
