Chapter 1149: Shocked

The president looked down, contemplating. Clovis’ allies were quite a lot. Rather than quantities, Clovis focused on qualities. Each of the allies Angelia mentioned had a powerful background. Their strength couldn’t be underestimated by anyone.

"I see." The president nodded in understanding. "What you want from me is numbers."

"Correct. What we currently need right now is the number so that our elites can somehow break through the enemy’s rank. Judging from the situation, it is most likely that the enemy will employ a defensive strategy. There will definitely be a big clash, but they will most likely try to separate us. However, this matter should be discussed further in the future."

The president glanced at his ministers. The minister of defense stepped forth. "That is true. If it were up to me, I would split the defense teams. To win, the Libation Fiesta needs extreme speed to avoid unknown variables from making an entrance.

"In other words, the enemy will simply need a large enough army to take the full brunt of that momentum.

"Since they have the ground advantage, they will be able to split up their armies into many smaller groups to hide in the cities and hit us.

"On the other hand, if we start raining them down with drones and missiles, the other party will retaliate and the situation will become messy. There’s a chance it might create another world war.

"As such, speed is of the essence. That will mean our strength will be chipped away to a certain degree before reaching the final battlefield.

"So, we will need numbers, but the problem is... the enemy has the biggest alliance in the world. If we enter their territory, they will have enough number not only to chip away our strength but also to hit us from all directions. It will be a gruesome battle."

The president frowned. The situation seemed to be much more serious than he originally thought. "What’s our odds?"

"I can’t calculate it right now, but the odds should be pretty low, especially since we’re on the offensive."

Clovis raised one finger. "Our intelligence network will work hard for that. For the time being, we will try to locate the enemy groups hidden in the cities. It might not work for every city, but we should be able to lower their number.

"They will most likely hide in smaller groups without too much heavy machinery. If we avoid the cities as far as possible on our path, we should be able to lessen our damage."

Clovis planned to use the travel agency to find the route. This way, he would be able to find where the danger was. If he found the danger, he would then ask his great-grandmother to send agents to find the hidden group. Most likely, the Hacfield family’s shadow guards would take the roles of the assassins.

The president nodded. "We can discuss whether it’s possible or not, but for the time being, I’ll try to reach out to all the countries we are allied with. We might have to pay some sacrifices."

"This is something I’m prepared to do. For the time being, I can only offer to rent out all the collections I currently possess. In other words, before the war happens, I may show an exhibition to all the gathered armies. This way, they won’t have enough time to react, but our army will get slightly stronger. It should also increase our morale," explained Clovis.

"If that’s the case, it will be easier to convince them. But the whole collection?"

"Yes." Clovis nodded.

"How many paintings are we talking about? I’m curious. If there are more paintings, there are higher chances to get enlightened, right? This will tempt other countries quite a bit."

"Don’t reveal the exact number... maybe tone it down a bit. There’s a chance for spies to inform the enemy and they might do something about the exhibitions."

"Don’t worry. I know that." The president waved his hand with a solemn expression. "I am not so naive that I will reveal all our cards."

Clovis wrote down a number and showed it to them.

"!!!" The president widened his eyes in shock. "This many?"

Clovis nodded. "Yes. I’ll ask my grandfather to help me protect them during the exhibitions, but with this, you won’t have any doubt, right?"

"That is true. In that case, why don’t we create a military parade for all those soldiers?"

"A military parade?"

"Yes. We will set up the exhibitions so that all the armies can see them and get enlightened. It will take some time because the soldiers will gradually drop to the ground to absorb their newfound knowledge, but the parade will continue moving forward. They will be confused at first, but if we just put some people to signal them to keep going, they will continue without questions. No need for much explanation."

"That’s a good idea." Clovis nodded with a serious expression. "That will allow us to speed up the process as well. If we can just set it up in a place, that’s not too crowded. Maybe a place with a bigger road so the traffic won’t get stopped easily. That will be good."

"We can do that, can we?" The president asked the minister of defense.

"Definitely. I can come up with specific details regarding the parade later."

"Make sure everything is top secret."

"Yes, sir."

"All right. For now, it looks like I will be able to convince a lot of people. The big question is... are you sure you can defeat the enemy? They have five Tier 9 humans."

"I have my grandfather and sir Ezekiel. I intend to become a Tier 9 human before the big war. It should be possible, but I will need your full cooperation for that."

"What? You’re going to become a Tier 9 that quickly?" The president gasped. Even the ministers didn’t expect that Clovis would reach Tier 9 faster than they changed a president.

"Not only me. One of my beasts will also become one."

"!!!" The president dropped his jaw to the ground. Clovis alone was already shocking enough, but it turned out his beast could become one too. If Clovis was allowed to grow, he would be the strongest person in the world in no time. Their country really struck gold.

"And..." Clovis suddenly smiled.
