Chapter 372: Rampage and a Brand New Power!

Chapter 372: Chapter 372: Rampage and a Brand New Power!

In truth, this path was forbidden from the start because it went against human nature.

The 7th Observer flicked her fingers again.

A gray-white seal, carved with images of nine stone thrones, slowly floated toward Logan.

This was the Seal of Arbitration.

Faint Demigod-stage rule fluctuations rippled across its surface.

“This Seal of Arbitration is yours,” The 7th Observer said.

“It can trigger one Demigod-stage judgment against any being that breaks the Court’s laws.”

“That includes the Origin Devourer and his army of Devourers.”

Logan reached out, took the seal, and stored it in his inventory space.

This seal was another trump card in his fight against the three Demigod vanguard.

“The Ancient Tribunal will hold its official arbitration in three days.” The 7th Observer continued.

“Bring your allies to Zone 46.”

“The Court will deliver its final judgment on this world.”

Before she finished speaking, her projection slowly faded into the void.

The entire Hall of Judgment began to shake violently.

The space structure of the Time Rift was rapidly collapsing.

Logan knew they had to leave immediately.

Inside the Time Rift, eight full hours had passed.

In the outside world, only forty-eight minutes had gone by.

Logan was about to use his Space Ability to return.

Suddenly, the royal Resonance stone at Violet’s brow sent a tearing pain through her.

She let out a low groan, stumbled, and her golden vertical pupils contracted sharply.

Through the cracks of Time Chaos, she caught the final shattered vision of Kane on the verge of collapse.

Golden divine blood stained the steps of the temple. Kane’s Demigod aura plummeted from seventy percent to fifty percent, and massive cracks tore through the temple’s dome.

“Master, something is wrong in the restricted zone!” Violet said urgently.

“Lord Kane can’t hold on much longer! The temple is about to collapse!”

Logan’s pupils shrank violently.

He hadn’t expected the Blood River’s attack to come this fast.

They had been inside the Time Rift for only eight hours, which meant less than an hour had passed outside.

Logan quickly did the math in his head.

If they returned now, they might just make it in time to help.

If they delayed even one more second, Kane might fall.

Once Kane dies, even if they secure the legacy, they still can’t withstand the assault from the three Demigod vanguard.

Logan didn’t hesitate for a second.

“Return immediately!”

Inside his Soul Sea, Nyarlathotep’s voice suddenly warned: “Using Rule Manifestation to perform a Space Jump right now will cost you a huge amount of energy.”

“Also, the Ancient Tribunal has already marked you as an anomaly. Using the Seal of Arbitration will put you on the observation list, and you could face elimination in the future.”

Logan’s expression didn’t waver. “No time for that. Saving Kane is the only thing that matters.”

He summoned five rules of power, intertwining the Space Shield with the power of the Blade of Time.

“Space Jump!”

Golden and silver light wove together, instantly wrapping around the four of them.

The space shook violently, and the four vanished from the Hall of Judgment in an instant.

The huge strain of the space jump caused Logan’s presence to drop again, plummeting from 72 stars to just 70.

A trickle of golden blood slipped from the corner of his mouth, and the cracks in his five-spiral DNA deepened slightly.

Just before they disappeared, The 7th Observer’s voice drifted through the chaotic space currents.

“The Seal of Arbitration can force the Ancient Tribunal to intervene in an investigation, but after using it, you will be placed on the key observation list. You might become an ally, or a target for elimination.”

Outside, the battle before the Destroyed Temple had lasted a full fifty-eight minutes.

Waves of blood crashed against the temple’s defensive barrier, each impact splashing a sea of crimson foam into the sky.

Kane knelt on one knee on the steps at the temple’s peak. His hundred-meter-tall Demigod body had shrunk down to fifty meters.

His old chest wound had exploded completely, and black devouring patterns spread from the injury up to his neck.

Golden divine blood dripped down his chin, hitting the rocks below and burning small holes into the stone.

His original seventy percent combat power had dropped to fifty percent after continuous drain.

One-third of the temple’s dome had already collapsed. Web-like cracks covered the entire wall, ready to shatter completely at any moment.

Blood River hovered at the very top of the blood waves, his face twisted with a sinister smile.

He used the life force of 110,000 flesh puppets as a sacrifice to constantly activate the Flesh Totem.

The earth in front of the temple had been turned into a corrosive blood swamp. Black blood blisters rolled and bubbled continuously; each drop could erode the source of the Destruction Rule.

Every time the Totem struck, Kane had to divert part of his power to reinforce the barrier, preventing the blood swamp from corroding the Ancient Beast Clan civilians inside the temple.

“Lord Kane, you can’t hold on!” Blood River’s voice cut through the battlefield, filled with harsh mockery. “Just hand over the source of the Destruction Rule, and I’ll leave your body intact!”

From the shadows, Shadow Phantom led 60,000 Abyss Walkers assassins in endless suicide attacks.

They lunged out from the darkness, stabbing the temple’s barrier with poisoned bone blades. Even when the barrier’s rebound force shattered them into blood mist, they showed no sign of retreat.

Shadow Phantom’s shadow-shielding ability completely disrupted Kane’s perception, making it impossible for him to pinpoint the true forms of Blood River or Shadow Phantom. He could only take hit after hit.

The continuous drain of fifty-eight minutes had pushed him to his absolute limit.

His hand gripping the Destruction Chain began to tremble slightly.

If he held on any longer, it would be a maximum of ten minutes before the barrier was completely breached.

Just then, a crack tore open in the space three li to the west of the temple.

Logan, Violet, Nel, and Bobbi tumbled out of the rift, slamming heavily onto the black volcanic rock.

Logan spread his 70-star perception to its full extent, instantly scanning the entire battlefield.

He clearly sensed that Kane’s power had dropped to fifty percent, and the light of the barrier had faded until it was nearly invisible.

Countless Ancient Beast Clan warriors were torn apart by the blood waves; mangled limbs and broken arms floated on the blood swamp, a sight that was hard to bear.

Violet’s gaze swept over the battlefield littered with corpses. Her golden vertical pupils swirled with a mix of grief and rage.

She saw her own kin torn apart by the flesh puppets. She saw the temple on the verge of collapse. She saw Kane fighting desperately in a sea of blood.

Her eyes seemed ready to burst, and her fingers dug deep into her palms, letting fresh blood drip down from her fingertips.

Through the soul contract, Logan issued a command to Violet: “Clean up your own ranks and execute the traitors. I’ll go save Kane.”

Violet turned to look at Logan, her killing intent coalescing until it felt solid enough to touch.

She nodded heavily. “As you command, Master.”

Logan didn’t hesitate. He leaped straight into the heart of the battle.

Five streams of rule light flared around his body instantly. The five weapons of his Rule Manifestation materialized all at once.

In his right hand, he held the all-silver Blade of Time. In his left, he raised a gold space shield carved with space runes. Behind him floated a pitch-black Bow of Destruction, and by his side stood a jade-green Staff of Creation.

Countless gray-white Chains of the Soul circled him, forming an impenetrable Heaven and Earth Net.

With all five rule weapons visible, Logan, at the Legend stage, unleashed a terrifying pressure that was nearly on par with a true Demigod.

Suddenly, a massive gust of wind swept across the entire battlefield.

The waves of blood crashing against the temple froze instantly.

The faces of Blood River and Shadow Phantom both turned pale with shock.

They couldn’t believe that Logan had somehow survived and returned from the Time Rift in less than an hour.

Worse yet, his presence was several times more terrifying than when he had gone in.

Kane watched Logan charge into the fray. A look of disbelief moved across his gray eyes.

He had really returned.

He came back just when Kane felt most hopeless.

Logan moved at the absolute limit of speed, appearing right in front of Blood River in an instant.

He swung his right hand, the Blade of Time, down with deadly force.

“Time Freeze!”

Silver light instantly engulfed a hundred-meter radius.

The flesh rules operating around Blood River were forcibly locked in place for a full three seconds.

His body, hovering at the top of the blood waves, stiffened in mid-air. The sinister grin on his face froze solid.

Even the Demigod-stage energy surging inside him came to a complete halt.

At the same moment, Shadow Phantom lunged out from the shadows.

Clutching a bone blade soaked in deadly poison, he aimed a killing strike at Logan’s back.

The bone blade was wrapped in dense shadow rules, capable of piercing through almost any energy defense.

Logan didn’t even look back. He held his space shield behind him with his left hand.

The golden Space Fold rune flared to life instantly.

“Bang!”

The bone blade struck the shield, and the violent shadow energy was instantly folded back by the space itself.

The bone blade flew backward, piercing straight into Shadow Phantom’s own shoulder.

Shadow Phantom let out a painful groan, his figure instantly shrinking back into the shadows.

The three seconds of Time Freeze were over in the blink of an eye.

As soon as Blood River regained the ability to move, he saw that Logan’s Bow of Destruction behind him was already fully drawn.

A pitch-black arrow made of Destruction Rule was locked firmly on his core.

Blood River’s pupils contracted violently. He tried to activate his flesh rules to defend himself.

But his movement was just one step too slow.

Logan released the bowstring. The pitch-black arrow tore through the void, instantly piercing through Blood River’s chest.

The Destruction Rule and Devouring Rule collided violently inside his body, exploding with a deafening roar.

A massive bloody hole erupted in Blood River’s chest. Golden blood mixed with shredded internal organs gushed out.

His 48-star quasi-Demigod presence plummeted in an instant.

Blood River tried to shed a strand of his soul fragments to flee.

If those soul fragments could escape to No. 47 Restricted Zone, he could use his Devouring Rule to rebirth.

But Logan didn’t give him a single chance.

Gray-white Chains of the Soul shot from Logan’s forehead, coiling around Blood River’s body like deadly snakes.

The chains tightened, completely locking down any path for his soul fragments to escape.

Blood River let out a blood-curdling roar, his eyes filled with unwillingness and terror. “Impossible! You’re only Legend stage. How can you control five rules?”

Logan ignored his screaming.

He held the jade-green Staff of Creation and simply tapped it lightly toward the waves of blood below.

Radiant green light from the Rule of Creation poured from the staff’s tip.
