Angle's Arrogance? My Pact with the Succubus Queen!

Chapter 365: Logan: I Am a Familiar Tamer!

Chapter 365: Chapter 365: Logan: I Am a Familiar Tamer!

The temporary energy loop Logan built will last for eight more hours. During this time, Kane can maintain 70% of his combat power for fifteen minutes.

If he takes a Demigod-stage Mind Stabilizing Potion, Kane can boost that to 80% of his full power for two hours. However, he will need to replenish his life energy afterward to keep that level up.

Kane counted his available attacks. A full-power strike uses up 1% of his life force, so he has 57 strikes left. That is enough to hold out until Logan’s reinforcements arrive.

Meanwhile, in Dawn City.

Logan set up a joint command center at the top of the World Tree.

Using Moragas’s Wraith Crystal, Turing can connect to the Lost World in real-time via an encrypted data terminal.

Even though the signal lag is over a second, they can still coordinate commands effectively.

The Ancient Passage is over a thousand kilometers away, hidden deep inside a secret underground realm.

Logan used his teleportation ability repeatedly and quickly led Group B’s vanguard team through the passage.

This time, Dawn City has sent its elite forces. Besides Fischl, Evelynna, and the others, members of the Spirit Tribe and human elites are standing by in the ranks.

Green Vine is now a 35-star Saint. Behind her march five Spirit Tribe chiefs—Ironthorn, Verid, Heartwood, Vivian, and Lithos—all between 30 and 32 stars. They lead 5,000 elite Spirit Tribe warriors.

Taliban leads a squad of human elites, including Knox, Sanchez, Harper, and Quinn. With Logan’s help, they have all broken through to Saint stage.

Two hours later.

Logan leads his B-group vanguard of 20,000 elite troops through the Ancient Passage, arriving at the Broken Gorge in No. 53 Restricted Zone to meet Kane.

There are still exactly two hours before the three Demigod vanguards arrive.

The ground of the Broken Gorge is covered in sharp, black volcanic rock. Stepping on it sparks fine, bright cracks.

Three blood moons hang in the sky. The central moon already shows a dark red halo, a sign of an approaching eclipse. Only one day remains before the eclipse.

The concentration of the Destruction Rule in the world is three times higher than usual. Many newly arrived 28-star human Familiar Tamers are being eroded by the rules; blood trickles from their mouths.

Logan stands atop the highest point of the gorge. With 81 star marks, he releases his pressure. His five-spiral DNA spins at high speed, forming a stable rule domain ten meters in diameter.

The five rules rotate within the field, neutralizing the chaotic Destruction and Devouring Rules.

The warriors being eroded immediately feel the pressure vanish. They can breathe much easier.

Kane stands beside him. His Demigod body, once a hundred meters tall, has shrunk to ten meters. He places both hands on the rocky ground below.

Golden Destruction Rule flows into the rock. The loose volcanic stones rapidly solidify, forming a solid barricade over a hundred meters high.

Time ticks by. Just thirty minutes before the vanguard arrives, eight of Nel’s twelve scouting avatars suddenly shatter. The remaining four zoom back immediately.

Nel’s face is grim. “They’re here!”

Bobbi follows behind Nel. Her long spear vibrates slightly. Her Phase Folding ability is fully charged, and she has set up countless trap dimensions.

Logan and Kane exchange a glance, then both step forward, taking their place at the very front of the formation.

The moment their words hang in the air, the space above the Broken Gorge violently distorts. Three black vortices, each a kilometer wide, appear out of nowhere. Instantly, Demigod-stage space tunnels form.

The first figure steps out of a vortex: an eighty-meter-tall Soul-Devourer. His entire body is made of rotating black swirls.

Wherever he walks, the spiritual energy around him is instantly swallowed, and even light cannot escape.

The second figure is a soul-devouring one: an endless sea of gray mist. Distorted human faces constantly emerge from the fog—all the souls he has devoured.

He specializes in Soul attacks. The moment he appears, many weak-willed warriors in the formation suddenly suffer from excruciating headaches, collapsing into unconsciousness.

The third is the Space-Ripper. His body is a completely transparent crystal structure, with fine space cracks flowing across its surface.

With every step, he swallows a hole in the surrounding space, specializing in attacks using the Space Rule.

As soon as the three vanguards land, they simultaneously release their full Demigod-stage pressure.

The combined pressure of the three Demigods feels like a solid mountain, crushing down hard on the entire formation in the gorge.

The ground around the gorge sinks by three meters instantly. The black volcanic rock is crushed into dust.

Facing this pressure, the warriors on the formation fall to their knees. Their bones creak and grind under the strain.

Many warriors below 28 stars bleed from all orifices, too weak to move a finger.

Seeing this, Logan lets out a cold snort.

He unleashes his pressure to the maximum. Silver Time, Gold Space, Green Creation, Black Destruction, and Gray Soul lights swirl around him.

Soon, his aura covers the vast battlefield, canceling out the pressure of the three Demigods. The warriors finally let out a sigh of relief, saved from sudden death.

“Hmm? Legend stage? Interesting!” The Space-Ripper glances at Logan. The other two Demigods notice him at the same time.

“Don’t let him grow! Kill him!” The soul-devouring one recognized Logan immediately and locked onto him on the spot.

All three gods simultaneously launched Mental Power attacks. Accompanied by 80% of their crushing pressure, they swarmed Logan.

The sudden pressure turned Logan’s face white, and a trickle of blood escaped his lips.

Yet, he stood firm, refusing to fall. He roared at Kane: “Attack!”

Hearing this, Kane’s Demigod body expanded back to a hundred meters. Golden chains of destruction extended from his core, swirling around him. The chains clanged together, sounding like striking iron.

He unleashed his Destruction Rule pressure at full power, clashing with the three vanguards. The space itself cracked into fine fractures from the impact.

With Kane’s help, the pressure on Logan dropped significantly. He used the power of his five divine rules to neutralize the Mental Power attacks aimed at him.

For a moment, the opposing pressures locked in mid-air, creating a standoff of two against three.

Suddenly, a mocking voice like grinding metal echoed from Soul-Devourer’s black vortices: “Kane, you traitor! When you defected, you stole the Lord’s Destruction Rule. Finally, we’ve caught you.”

“You killed so many comrades back then. Today, pay for it with your life.”

The soul-devouring one condensed his gray mist into a giant eye, staring fiercely at Logan. Its icy voice filled the entire gorge: “I didn’t expect a Legend stage to perfectly balance five divine rules. Your five-spiral DNA would make the best fertilizer for the Lord to break through to Super-Demigod. Give up; I might let you keep your body intact.”

Space-Ripper stood in the rear, silent. But the space cracks on his body grew denser. His ability to devour space was fully charged, locking onto both Logan and Kane.

Kane’s gray eyes were cold. His golden chains rattled in his hand as he replied coldly: “I have never regretted defecting. You monsters, who only know how to consume, have come today. So, stay and die.”

Logan turned his head and whispered to Violet nearby: “Take the B-group to fight!”

At once, Logan swept his hand. Countless space cracks opened wide.

Immediately, hundreds of thousands of Saint stage familiars appeared on the front lines.

Their Saint stage pressure spread out, leaving even the three Demigods stunned in mid-air.

Taking advantage of their moment of shock, Logan and Kane exchanged a glance. Without a word, they instantly agreed on a tactic.

Kane would focus on Soul-Devourer, as the Destruction Rule naturally counters the Devouring Rule, allowing him to maximize his combat power.

Logan would hold off the soul-devouring one and Space-Ripper, using his five divine rules to drag the two Demigods down, creating a chance for Kane to kill Soul-Devourer alone.

The battle was ready to explode.

Soul-Devourer stood at the very front. His eighty-meter-tall black vortex expanded slightly as he launched a test attack first.

The largest vortex on his chest opened up to fifty meters in diameter, unleashing a cold wave of Devouring Rule.

However, he didn’t aim at Logan or Kane. Instead, he swept the attack toward the front line: the Dragon-Rhino Horned Ant legion.

Ten thousand of them, all 28-star Saints. Their shells were so hard they could withstand normal 32-star attacks. Yet, the moment they touched the devouring vortex, their shells rapidly withered.

Logan’s pupils shrank slightly. The Yepera relic weapon in his left hand instantly glowed with the green light of the Creation Rule.

Without a shred of hesitation, he activated [Creation Rule · Life Reshaping].

Green light spread from his palm, traveling along the reverse path of the Devouring Rule to wrap around all the withered ant remains.

The stolen life energy was forced backward, pouring back into the ants’ bodies. Within seconds, the bodies of the ten thousand Dragon-Rhino Horned Ants visibly plumped up and recovered.

They shook their antennae as if nothing had happened and immediately assumed their attack stance again.

“I get it now.” Logan sneered. “You Demigods have no honor!” He charged straight at Soul-Devourer.

Seeing his attack fail, Soul-Devourer let out a screech of metal grinding in shock. “Damn it! Who are you really?”

“He’s here to kill you!” Kane seized the split-second opening. Clenching his golden chains of destruction, he unleashed [Destruction Rule·Sky-Shattering Strike].

The chains turned into a massive golden blade, radiating wild destructive energy as they sliced toward Soul-Devourer’s core vortex.

The soul-devouring one, standing by Soul-Devourer’s side, sensed the danger instantly.

Gray mist churned around him as he immediately activated [Ten Thousand Souls’ Devouring Bite].

Countless gray soul bodies shot out of the fog, piercing through Kane’s destruction rule defense to strike straight at his Soul Sea.

Faced with the erosion of the devouring power, Kane had to pull back his attack. Soul fire danced in his gray eyes as he rapidly marshaled his destruction rule to burn the invading soul attacks.

Suddenly, a hint of golden divine blood trickled from his lips. He was forced to stumble back three steps.

The devouring power had reawakened his old wounds, and his aura had weakened slightly.
