Angle's Arrogance? My Pact with the Succubus Queen!

Chapter 330: The Real Value of Dawn Academy!

Chapter 330: Chapter 330: The Real Value of Dawn Academy!

Numerous sticky, blood-mass tentacles erupted from the spring water, locking down the surrounding ant swarms.

As the black ants had their life force drained by these tentacles, even the power of their Self-Destruct attacks dropped significantly.

Seizing the moment, the gray eyes of the Shadow chairman flashed with a cold light.

She formed a hand seal and cast [Shadow Rule: Dark Curtain].

The sky was instantly engulfed in darkness, stripping all black ants of their vision.

Suddenly, the black ant army faced four massive debuffs in quick succession: slowed movement, life drain, attack reduction, and blindness. They plunged into total chaos.

Watching this, Logan let out a cold sneer. “Hmph, who told you that ants hunt by sight?”

Soon, Golden Ant King Black One opened a mind link, sharing the battlefield’s view with the entire swarm.

Immediately after, Logan summoned the Ancestral Spirits girl.

She waved her hand, and a large cloud of life-force spores rained down on the black ants, quickly replenishing the life they had lost.

At the same time, Logan stared coldly at the enemy’s main force and scoffed: “You slowed down my ants. Now, I freeze your grunts!”

“Slime Battle Style: Space Restriction!”

The moment the words left his lips, a strange scene unfolded on the battlefield. All the enemy soldiers seemed to glitch, frozen in place.

Then, the black ant army crawled toward them like slow-moving snails.

Their speed was slow, but the enemies were stuck right where they were, waiting to be Self-Destructed upon contact.

Because the Ancestral Spirits girl had replenished the black ants’ life force, the two effects canceled each other out. The black ants’ Self-Destruct power was fully restored.

In fact, since the enemies were frozen, the explosions after the detonation were even more effective than before.

After just one round, enemy casualties had jumped by another 50%.

Worse still, the ant swarm’s charge remained perfectly organized, with zero chaos.

Inside the Coalition base of Forbidden Zone No. 53, the faces of several high-ranking officials turned as black as a frying pan.

They spamming skills like they were free, bombarding the enemy relentlessly.

But Logan matched their moves perfectly. When all was said and done, the Coalition of Forbidden Zone No. 53 had actually lost more ground.

On the frontline, Violet suddenly drew her longsword, pointing the tip straight at Black Blade. Her voice trembled uncontrollably with panic. “Black Blade, stop it!”

“These ants don’t care about dying! They are recording our skill cooldowns and attack ranges!”

“Look at how their formation changes. Every time we use a large-scale skill, they shift their attack angle!”

“It’s a trap! They are trying to drain us!”

Black Blade swung his hand, slashing through three charging black ants in one strike.

He threw his head back and let out a piercing, maniacal laugh, full of disdain. “Princess, what are you so afraid of?”

“Let them record! When they run out of ants, what else can humans do?”

“They are just cannon fodder! Even if they know our skill data, this trash won’t be able to break my defense!”

Violet spun around, staring desperately toward the high ground where the Sky-Shattering Chieftain stood.

Her voice shot up, thick with despair. “Great Chieftain! Order a full retreat! Reorganize the lines!”

“Our formation is broken. The vanguard is fighting over resources, and now we’re stuck fighting these ants. If humans have any tricks up their sleeves, we are done for!”

However, the Sky-Shattering Chieftain ignored Violet completely. His entire focus was now on how to outmaneuver the black ant army.

Meanwhile, high up on the Pinocchini Command Center tower, Logan stood silently.

His pale golden eyes scanned every detail of the battlefield.

Every parameter of the enemy’s skills was being recorded with perfect accuracy.

Just then, a clear voice came through the communicator. “Brother, the Ancient Beast Clan’s rage skill lasts for 180 seconds. The Bloodline Temple’s blood mist requires living targets to sustain it. The Abyss Stalker’s shadow dash has a 0.5-second cooldown. The Divine Shards have a suppression radius of 5km, lasting 60 seconds with a 300-second cooldown. All data recorded.”

Logan replied calmly into the mic: “Understood.”

Hiyua’s update continued, her tone tinged with worry. “Brother, the Legend stage black ants have already lost 300,000 units. Should we launch the second wave of the offensive?”

Logan slowly shook his head. “Burn another 100,000. Force them to trump cards.”

“I need to know if they have hidden high-tier skills. Especially those few guys on the verge of entering the Demigod realm. I need to know their true limits.”

Logan’s order rang out again, echoing through the remaining ant swarm.

The remaining 300,000 Legend stage black ants instantly shifted their formation.

They organized into standard assault squads of ten ants each and simultaneously activated their talent skill: [Black Cloud Obscures the Sun].

In an instant, the black ant swarm released a thick black mist, blinding the entire battlefield.

Deep inside the black curtain, they turned around and charged wildly toward the Flesh Temple Lord’s main command.

Seeing the swarm charging at him, the Flesh Temple Lord roared in anger: “You’re asking for death!”

The blood mist around him instantly condensed into a giant, crimson palm.

With a thunderous crash, the massive hand slammed down, smashing thousands of the leading black ants into pulp.

Yet the ant swarm surged forward without a single pause, sacrificing the front ranks to the death.

They charged fearlessly at the blood mist shield, detonating themselves one after another with Self-Destructs.

Through a series of deafening explosions, the Flesh Temple Lord’s blood mist shield began to crack, riddled with tiny holes.

Standing on the high ground, the Sky-Shattering Chieftain finally noticed something was wrong.

These black ants didn’t care about their casualties at all. They were simply trading their lives to test the enemy’s skills.

Suddenly, a wave of intense unease rose from his heart.

The horn on his head flickered erratically, flashing with uncertainty.

At the same time, inside the command center outside Pinocchini, high-ranking members of the Dream Committee were attending the meeting via remote projection.

Seeing the situation on the battlefield, Colin jumped up from his chair.

His face turned dark green, and he slammed his fist hard onto the conference table, shouting loudly, “Logan! Your Legend stage army is almost exhausted! Why aren’t you sending the Saint stage main force?”

“This is a waste of manpower! We demand a change in command immediately! Let the generals of the Vanzo family take over the frontline!”

Sitting nearby, Stripline was wiping sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief non-stop.

His fat body trembled uncontrollably as he said, “A million cannon fodder can’t kill even 100,000 of the enemy’s elite!”

“Hurry and let the Vanzo generals take command! Otherwise, we will immediately cut off resource support to the Latio family!”

“And we will stop all cooperation! We will revoke the mining rights for the mineral veins we promised you earlier!”

Enveloped in a dense black mist, Elena’s figure twisted within the shadows. Her voice was thick with anxiety: “It’s 28-star power against 32-star power. Numbers don’t matter here! We must deploy the Saint legion immediately!”

“If we delay any longer, our morale will collapse!”

Hearing this, Logan smirked and sneered, “Morale? What morale? Hasn’t the fighting been done entirely by my familiar army from start to finish? If my own familiars die, what does that have to do with your morale?”

“You!” Being directly retorted by Logan, Colin, Stripline, and Elena were all shocked and furious.

Just then, in the center of the conference table.

Turing’s data form slowly began to coalesce. Pale blue data streams flowed calmly around him.

Turing’s voice was mechanical and clear, completely devoid of emotion. “Everyone, I support Logan’s command.”

Seeing this, Colin slammed his hand on the table again. The teacup on the surface flew up and shattered on the floor.

“Turing, are you crazy? He is just a young man who has never commanded a large-scale battle!” Colin roared.

Turing cut him off immediately, his voice cold. “Don’t forget who Logan’s master is, and do not underestimate Bell’s legacy.”

Colin froze instantly. His voice was dry and filled with shock. “Bell? Logan has a connection to Bell?”

Turing nodded silently. “Logan is Bell’s student.”

Hearing this, Colin was so stunned he couldn’t make a sound.

On the other side, Modekaiser leaned back in his chair, his eyes glowing with a cold gray light.

His Eye of Chaos contracted sharply, the gray light flashing wildly.

Finally, Modekaiser spoke slowly: “Bell? In the Eastern Theater years ago, Bell defeated the Pinocchini army with equal forces. He never lost a single battle. His Legend stage army never lost a single battle on the front line against us.”

Modekaiser paused for a moment before continuing. “Bell once managed to wipe out three of Pinocchini’s Legend stage legions using terrain and tactics, despite having less than one-third of their numbers. His own losses were under 10%.”

“The only reason Pinocchini didn’t send Saint stage experts to crush him back then was the agreement between the Human Federation and Pinocchini, which bans Saint stage warriors from joining civil wars.”

When everyone mentioned Bell, the black mist swirling around Elena suddenly froze in place. “If Logan is Bell’s direct disciple, then his command skills are beyond question.”

For a moment…

The entire conference hall fell into a deathly silence.

Now that they knew Logan was trained by Bell Major, no one there dared to suggest changing commanders again.

Colin slowly sank back into his chair, his fingers tapping the table unconsciously. “If that’s the case, Logan City Lord, please continue commanding. We await your next move.”

Seeing Turing bail him out, Logan nodded slightly to show his gratitude.

Soon, Logan turned his gaze away from the remote projections and faced the battlefield.

Through his mind link, he instantly contacted Green Vine. “Deploy the second batch of Dawn Academy students. Five thousand of them, all into the fight. Execute the three-wave tactic.”

Green Vine frowned slightly at the order. “Lord Logan, they are only an average of 20-star Legend stage. Against the alien enemies, isn’t that a bit too much to ask?”

Logan cut him off immediately. His eyes were sharp as a blade, and his tone left no room for negotiation. “Real combat is the best teacher. It’s time for them to show off what they’ve learned in training.”

Green Vine nodded silently, raising his hand to send a signal to another part of the World Tree’s canopy.
