Chapter 40: The trending hot post is back

In an online forum where people with face addiction often shared videos and posts of the face cards they found and captured on the streets, a random post had triggered a hot discussion in the forum.

It started as simple appreciation, very ordinary. Even the original poster did not expect the post to blow up.

Post: Look at the treasure I found! (pic) (pic) (pic) (video) I found the most beautiful boy playing the erhu in a nursing home. He is sooo good! Most importantly, that face is just godly!

1L: OP, which nursing home? I’ll go right now.

2L: OMG OMG OMG, is this real? Not photoshopped? He looks like he’s mixed-race.

3L: To the above, obviously it’s been photoshopped. The filters are thick. Look at the lighting effect.

4L: How handsome~ Is he an idol? Which agency? Please share the juicy details.

5L: I’m the original poster. To 3L, nope, not a filter. It was really like that. The sun shone down on him, and the light just made him glow. If I lie, my wallet will have a hole in it.

6L: Wow, this person is so pretty. He’s like an Uyghur beauty in an ancient drama.

7L: Is it a promotional post for an upcoming idol? Don’t be shy, just tell us which company!

8L: Why does everyone only focus on the beauty? Well, the beauty is really a great beauty, but just listen to the music. If this is true, then this person’s musical talent is no joke. It’s a waste for him to become an idol.

9L: All right, confirmed. This is definitely a PR stunt. That scene where the agent appeared to recruit the boy was so fake.

10L: Can anyone tell me the beauty’s contact details?

11L: Am I the only one thinking that he looks familiar? I think I’ve seen him before.

12L: Isn’t this guy an idol?

13L: Drooling over the male god. I want to give him little monkeys.

At first, there were only praises and the usual ordinary comments. However, someone made a comment that quickly turned viral.

46L: Wait!!! I know this person. Isn’t this the one in that really big scandal?

47L: Oh, my pretty boy, come to my bed, or I’ll go to yours. I can be your bed warmer~ Let’s make monkeys together.

48L: Contact details, please~

49L: What scandal? This boy has a yellow scandal?

50L: Wow, he looks so pure, but he’s already got a yellow scandal? Why didn’t I see it?

51L: Ah! I think I know the scandal!

52L: Please share, please share. If you have video links outside the wall, I’ll climb over fast, hehe.

53L: Wait.

54L: Here it is. This person is named Lin Feng. He doesn’t have the scandal himself; he is the victim. Remember that husband and sister-in-law affair in the capital several months ago?

55L: OMG, it’s that scandal?

56L: He’s the boy who died in the video?

57L: The yellow video with President Lin and his sister-in-law in action? The one where the legal wife died and the legal wife’s son got pushed down the stairs?

58L: To 56L, it’s his mother who died after witnessing the affair, and then the adulterous pair went to push down the boy.

59L: The affairs of the wealthy circles are really deep. This is literally a plot in TV dramas and melodramatic novels.

60L: I heard he stopped going to school.

61L: I heard he’s hospitalized and in a coma.

62L: Does anyone know how it ended?

63L: What happened to President Lin and his sister-in-law, the mistress?

64L: I heard President Lin’s company went bankrupt.

65L: I remember that the sister-in-law’s son was not her husband’s son, but is actually her illegitimate son with President Lin.

66L: I think they all left the country. That’s usually how wealthy people solve their problems. Just leave far away and wait until everything settles down.

The discussion went on for a long time, until it finally gathered more and more attention and blew up into a trending hot post!

Soon, the pictures and videos of the boy spread wildly across the forums.

#The Incestous Affair Must Not Be Forgotten#

As more people came to know about this matter and their memories, which had been buried by the many events that happened afterward in the online world, resurfaced, soon the online detectives were able to track down the location where the video was filmed.

Afterward, many people began commenting that they would go to the well-known local tourist attraction that happened once a year on the outskirts of Beijing, in Bohai Town.

In the end, the Bohai Spring Festival came to everyone’s view and also reached the trending post.

#Let’s Go To Bohai Spring Festival#

All of this happened overnight.

.....

At this time, the turmoil that had just begun in the past few hours and would continue to blow up until the next day, and the unaware Lin Feng and Housekeeper Yang sat in the back of the car while heading home under the starry night sky of Bohai Town.

Lin Feng sat with his head tilted back, the stars reflected on his clear wet eyes.

His mind was still pondering on the elder’s words, but his heart finally felt at peace.

Housekeeper Yang felt that something was different about the young master, but he could not quite put his finger on it.

He also remembered the meaningful look in his mother’s eyes.

Did they realize something?

After serving the young master his dinner and bidding him goodnight, the housekeeper called out to Lin Feng just as the boy was about to retreat for rest.

"Young Master Lin Feng."

Lin Feng turned around, his soft amber eyes showing a questioning look. "Uncle Yang?"

"Did something happen in the nursing home?"

Lin Feng’s eyes flickered. He paused before saying, "Well, there are indeed quite a few things that happened," he admitted.

Understanding that the housekeeper was worried about him, Lin Feng showed a gentle smile.

It was a smile that was more carefree and lighter than the forced smiles Housekeeper Yang had seen on Lin Feng’s face these past few days.

"Don’t worry, Uncle Yang. This visit has been very helpful to me."

Housekeeper Yang’s tense shoulders finally relaxed. "Then, are you still planning to come with me tomorrow, or would you like to take a rest?"

The boy replied, "I’ll go before sunset. I made a promise to watch their performance and set up a stall, so I will be going with you."

"I also wanted to see what the night festivities are like."
