Edmund was one of Housekeeper Yang’s most capable assistants.

Lin Feng did not know much about the family backgrounds of Housekeeper Yang’s assistants. He only remembered a few details about Edmund because he was the only mixed-race person among them, just like Lin Feng, whose deceased maternal grandmother had been half-Slavic.

Edmund had been born in France to a French father and a Chinese mother. When he was ten years old, his father died in an accident, after which his mother returned to China and eventually remarried.

As Housekeeper Yang’s direct apprentice, Edmund had been standing nearby with the others, quietly observing and waiting in case Housekeeper Yang needed him to run an errand.

That was why, when Lin Feng stumbled, Edmund was able to react almost instantly.

Lin Feng threw another glance at the assistant who always looked so professional.

Edmund was very, very handsome!

It was the kind of handsomeness that the ancient woman’s soul within Lin Feng found particularly exotic and eye-catching. His features had a refined, almost striking quality that reminded Lin Feng of the Western films he had seen through the body’s memories.

Lin Feng politely thanked him. "You have truly fast reflexes, Edmund. Thank you for your help."

"It is my pleasure, young master."

He gave a slight bow, elegant and refined, looking every inch like the gentleman Lin Feng had seen in those Western films.

Lin Feng wanted to return to tilling the land. He reassured Housekeeper Yang a few more times before the elder finally agreed to let him continue using the wheel hoe.

This time, the gardeners helped him push it from both sides while also imparting precious farming knowledge they had personally gathered through several decades of experience.

Lin Feng, in both of his lives, had never realized that there was so much knowledge hidden in something as ordinary as growing vegetables.

It turned out that the gardeners did not simply dig the soil randomly.

They knew which weeds had to be removed completely, how deeply the soil should be loosened, how to keep the beds level, and how to arrange the planting areas according to the crops they intended to grow.

It turned out that certain plants could indeed help each other out.

It was very fascinating.

Seeing the shining look of worship in the boy’s eyes, the gardeners all felt a little proud and couldn’t help rubbing their noses.

"Farming has very high-level requirements. People always look down on us and call us rural folks, but aren’t we pretty awesome? If not for farmers, what would people eat?"

The boy nodded seriously. "Um. Farming is amazing, and all farmers deserve respect."

Even in his previous life, the emperors of various dynasties had paid a great deal of attention to farming.

Often, if a country experienced agricultural difficulties due to bad weather or inhumanely high grain taxes, famine and chaos would follow.

Even someone who always stayed at home like Madam Lin knew this.

Why had there been so many refugees back then? It was because of famine, when drought scorched the farmland, resulting in terrible harvests.

So Lin Feng felt even more motivated to work.

Right now, the profession of farming had become a very noble occupation in his mind, no different from the work of agricultural officials and local magistrates.

Alas, his heart was flying, but his body felt like it was dying.

Not even half an hour had passed before Lin Feng was forced to stop and rest on the side. His entire body was aching, especially both of his arms. He was also soaked in sweat.

Taking a few sips of tea and eating some snacks, Lin Feng watched with curious, wide eyes as everyone worked quickly.

Because the sun was very comfortable, Housekeeper Yang did not use a parasol. Still, Lin Feng was reminded of the past when he was still Madam Lin.

She also used to sit in a pavilion and drink tea while observing the servants at work.

While Lin Feng was leisurely looking around, his gaze caught a flash in the distance.

"Hmm? What’s that?"

Squinting in that direction, Lin Feng saw a person standing at a high position in the nearest villa.

Because the villas here were homestead villas, the spaces between each unit were large. Thus, Lin Feng could not see the man’s appearance clearly.

He could only tell that he was tall, kind of bald, and had a sturdy frame. His big and bulky figure was especially obvious because he was wearing only a tank top.

Lin Feng quickly moved his gaze away in panic. He was still not used to seeing such large patches of exposed skin, even now.

Housekeeper Yang followed Lin Feng’s gaze and saw the man.

His eyes turned a little cold, but when he looked back at Lin Feng, they returned to their normal solemn and refined appearance, exactly like the perfect butler he had always been.

"Young master, that person is also someone who came from Beijing. However, he is quite the... rebellious type." Housekeeper Yang did not want to say anything disgusting to Lin Feng, whom he considered pure and innocent. "He was sent here by his family because he got involved in an incident and needs to lie low."

Lin Feng’s brows lifted slightly in realization.

"Oh," he only muttered and said nothing further.

A problem child.

He quickly accepted this explanation because, in ancient times, there had been many problematic young masters spoiled by their families.

In the distance, the man who had been taking pictures was very satisfied. The quality was still pretty good; he could clearly see the boy’s entire figure.

It was especially nice when the boy actually looked in his direction, straight into the lens of his phone.

Seeing the guards next door moving and glaring in his direction in warning, the man only smiled and went inside.

He headed straight for his room.

After opening the door, the wall directly in front of the bed appeared. It was covered by a wall-sized thin screen displaying a collage of the boy’s pictures he had taken yesterday.

He immediately added the newly taken pictures and videos.

Soon, a boy with a delicate temperament soaked in sweat appeared in several pictures.

The man enlarged the video portion.

In the video, sweat dripped down the boy’s face and neck, trailing to his chin. He was panting with a flushed face and parted lips, his soulful eyes looking languid and sensual.

The man licked his lips, a roguish charm appearing on his face. He stripped off his clothes to revealnan extremely sturdy body filled with raw power.

His lower body was already standing straight up.

Staring at the boy’s sensual face, the man touched his erect manhood, his eyes fixed on the panting boy with a dangerous gleam.

He imagined the boy writhing in pleasure beneath him, his slender legs locked around his waist as he pounded his ass again and again.

Fuck, it must feel so good, much better than the other boy who had caused him a lot of trouble!

"All right, since you’re so tempting, you can’t blame me for making a move, baby," he groaned, his movements becoming faster and faster.

....

Back at the empty plot, the compact rotary tiller came to life with a low mechanical hum.

The work that would have taken Lin Feng several days was being completed efficiently in less than two hours.

Lin Feng watched them operate the compact rotary tiller with bright eyes for a while before finally gathering his courage.

"Can I try?"

The gardeners exchanged glances before looking at Housekeeper Yang.

Lin Feng also looked apprehensively at Housekeeper Yang.

"Why are you looking at me? The young master’s wish must be fulfilled," Housekeeper Yang said with a smile at the gardeners.

The boy’s eyes lit up, but the gardeners shivered.

Housekeeper Yang’s eyes looked a little menacing! They could practically see words floating behind his eerie smile.

’Make sure the young master doesn’t get hurt, or else, fufufu...’

The gardeners hurriedly said to the expectant Lin Feng, "Of course. Come over and let us show you how to do it."

Lin Feng immediately stood up and walked over, his eyes curving up in delight.

Such a complicated-looking machine made Lin Feng feel both apprehensive and excited to try his hand at operating it.

Even with two gardeners helping him hold the tiller on both sides, Lin Feng still felt as though he were being dragged around by the machine, and he had to constantly plant and steady his feet on the ground.

Constantly lifting and tilting the tiller to maintain a suitable depth and angle was very exhausting.

Soon, Edmund and another stronger servant replaced the gardeners supporting him so he could move more steadily.

Sweat poured down his face and neck, and his back was soaked with sweat. His arms felt sore.

But how could he explain it?

A small smile appeared on Lin Feng’s face.

It was difficult and tiring, but it was also unexpectedly interesting.

He never knew that he could actually do these things.
