She watched the attack land on her. The old woman was blasted away from the spot. She flew backwards before crashing into the ground. The dark purple lightning power covered her body like a spider web.

When her body landed on the ground, black smoke rose from her body. The old woman was completely charred and smoking.

Seeing that, I walked up to her. A single attack left the vitality in her body dwindling.

"Old woman," I uttered.

Hearing that, the old woman regained consciousness. She was completely paralyzed. Her nerve cells were destroyed. She recognized the power of the lightning.

She raised her head and looked towards the young man.

"Don’t trust anyone in this world. Especially the guardian gods. Not all the guardian gods are united and want to save the world," the old woman said.
